As we have told you earlier that Sony A7III announcement is overdue and just before the announcement of Sony A7III we have also posted the update with an A7II image that Something big is coming.
You can’t see me
Sony is more strict now and in-general prior to the announcement of any camera from any brand we get its core specs and images for sure. But, something weird happened with the Sony A7 III announcement and we haven’t received anything related to the A7 III camera [No leaked image or specs]. Even the most trusted Japanese sources dried up.. Sony look more strict in 2018.

Now what Next?
At the moment we don’t have any information about upcoming product and even the wirless certification agency isn’t showing any camera from Sony [yep no new model code after the A7 III]. As per the information we have right now no new Sony Mirrorless camera is coming in next 3 months.
Big Question – Sony A7S III at CP+ or not ?
Logic and information available to us says AN BIG NO. But anything can happen as we have said already Sony A7 III announcement was an bit surprise since we do know that something is coming but we haven’t received any prior information from Japanese sources and that’s really strange.

We have told you that Sony next major announcement is on 18 Oct, 2017. Now according to latest rumors surfaced over the web Sony is rumored to announce Sony A7S Mark III OR They will extend the Sony A9 series camera with a New “Sensitivity” version, that is Sony A9S. The camera is rumored to features excellent core specification, its video specs will literally kill the Panasonic GH5 camera.
If this rumor is true then Why Sony is ignoring A7II update is a big question, may be Sony wants A7II (Full HD) user to get the Sony A9 camera. BTW, We have received information in past that trim-down version of Sony A9 is coming under A7III name with affordable price tag, still the announcement time of the camera not confirmed yet.

On October 18, 2017 (during NAB show) Sony is holding a Media in action event, and we are expecting some big announcements from Sony.
No one knows what exactly coming ?
Before announcement of any products we get lots of leak that include pictures, specs of the upcoming camera. But if you look at the Sony RX10 IV announcement, it was a complete surprise and no one including the rumor mills knows what exactly coming next. What will happen next ?

Sony A7III and Sony A7S III are due for an update. If we look at the video section then Sony FS5 Mark II is also on list of upcoming pro camcorders. Sony compact camera Sony RX100 VI is also expected to arrive soon. Now take a look what actually on the announcement pipeline.

At the end based on our previous information, Sony A7III update is overdue and the announcement was expected in next few months. Tipster of a veteran rumor mill given few hints related to the next Fullframe FE-Mount camera from Sony. According to him the next high-end camera from Sony doesn’t carry high resolution sensor.
“a9 is not a high megapixel camera.
The number of pixels is saved, it will become a camera with high speed AF, high-speed continuous shooting, high ISO sensitivity.”
This is the first time we are getting hints related to the low res fullframe camera from Sony. Till now were getting leaks related to 70+MP camera and this is the first time someone talking about a new camera that doesn’t feature high MP but it will a perfect combination of Sensitivity, Speed and Resolution.
Is Sony is making a perfect competitor Canon 1DX Mark II and Nikon D5? According the information leaked today, it’s look like the Sony A9 may arrive with a 24 MP sensor with excellent low-light capability and speed. The other possibility is…

The Sony A7S II camera was announced back on Sep 16, 2015. And Sony A7S was announced on April 2014. So the time has arrived that Sony is preparing to bring a new A7S III camera sometime in March and April of 2017.

It’s a low rated rumor but according to new source of SAR website Sony A7S II successor will carry RGBW sensor. If we look at the test reports when we compare a RGB sensor with RGBW sensor, then we see increase in brightness in images by 32% in high-contrast situations and decrease color noise by 78% in low-light.
1. Huawei P8 uses the RGBW Sensor
Till now only Huawei P8 uses the RGBW Sensor developed by Sony. The P8 is world first smartphone to feature a Dual camera module on the rear side of the camera and each module of the camera have a 13MP RGBW sensor inside it.

2. What is RGBW Sensor
The RGB sensor carries extra white pixel inside it and due to that we see increase in brightness in images by 32% decrease color noise by 78% in low-light compared to a traditional CMOS Sensor. The Sony High sensor RGBW actually inspired from Kodak as you can see the Kodak press release published at dpreview at 2007.
3. Sony working on a Fullframe RGBW Sensor
It’s look logical that Sony may use RGBW sensor for its forthcoming High A7 series sensitivity camera. The overall sensitivity of the camera is expected to increase upto 84%. Which will be a very big Jump from its predecessor.

The image and specification of the Sony A7S III camera leaked by CameraBeta website, the website often re-publishes news and rumors but we can’t comment on the credibility of the websites till now.

Which camera should you buy, Sony A7S II of Sony A7S. Before we begin you must know that the sensor inside both the camera is same, although lot of optimization has been done to improve the AF performance, introduction of 5 axis image stabilization system and 4K internal video recording mode with fast AF + IS support. The another advantage of Sony A7S II is high frame rate 120/100fps in full 1080p which the A7s only had in 720p.’
A major group Sony A7S users mainly use Sony A7S for low-light event, but if you are looking for major performance upgrade in low-light area you may get disappointed to see the results below.
I am able to notice a bit of noise optimization in in Sony A7S II camera, but I am not able to notice any major performance upgrade in low-light sensitivity. If you are a low-light shooter you must wait for the next version Sony A7S III. New users must buy Sony A7S II since both camera have exactly same price tag.
