According to a rumor coming from British website NL (northlight) Canon will announce a FF camera with a 52 Megapixel Sensor, If we look at the current 7D Mk II sensor design it actually look bit possible…. since the 7D Mk II APS-C sensor based on the 4.2 micron pixel design and if Canon develops a fullframe sensor having 4.2 micron pixel design the result will be a 52 Megapixel Fullframe sensor.
So we may see a new new 52 MP Dual-Pixel fullframe CMOS AF sensor DSLR in 2015 the upcoming may be named as 5D Mark IV or 5D X.

Finally we got confirmation from Canon that they are working on a high resolution DSLR, Just few days ago Masaya Maeda – Canon Managing Director and Chief Executive, Image Communication Products Operations at Canon he said “We select the best sensor, whoever the manufacturer is. That’s our policy.” Now in an interview published at DCWatch Masaya Maeda – finally confirmed that Canon is working on a Megapixel Monster
Q: Will high pixel size image sensor coming soon?
A: I am working on the high pixel camera. There are two ways of roughly divided into high pixel and high sensitivity to user needs. Although Canon doesn’t have any high megapixel or high sensitivity system , I think Canon is going to working on that in the future.
High pixel camera towards users who want high resolution image. This is the camera, such as was up the number of pixels while maintaining the pixel quality. I will expand a group of EF lenses for this camera, please do not ask any more (laughs).
We already published a Rumor that Sony is working on a new high resolution fullframe sensor (possibly of 46 MP) and the upcoming Canon High resolution DSLR is expected to feature the same sensor.

Take a look at the Fuji X100T high ISO test with different popular cameras, the Fuji X100T sensor is however not new and it is same as of X100S sensor, take a look at the High ISO test below and share your thoughts with us
Fujifilm X100T vs Rich GR, the X100T is showing bit realistic colors and bit more detail compared to the Rich GR.
No difference, As we have already said that there is no difference in the sensor of current X100S and X100T, hence the image quality is almost same.
The X100T is showing more details compared to Nikon coolpix A camera, the X-Trans doesn’t have low have pass filter so it produces more details and and less color noise compared to Coolpix A.
And finally the Lx100 vs Fujifilm X100T, the LX100 showing almost flat image at ISO 6400 when compared to the Fuji X100T Camera.
The Fuji x100T is a excellent camera if you are looking for a professional compact camera with large sensor.

Canon recently used the Sony made 1 inch sensor in recently announced Canon powershot G1X camera, But Why Canon used a Sony made Sensor in its Pro Compact camera ? The answer camera directly from Masaya Maeda – Managing Director and Chief Executive, Image Communication Products Operations at Canon he said “We select the best sensor, whoever the manufacturer is. That’s our policy.” (That’s Canon new policy, I think)
According to a rumor published at CR.com
“Canon will use Sony’s new 46mp sensor as the 3rd party launch partner, maybe a little after Sony releases it in a camera of their own. Sony and Canon are partnering on many upcoming products – most recently the G7X being a prime example. Canon will use their own CFA / processing and will make a big point of colour accuracy.”
So we are now confirmed that Canon may use Sony made 46 MP sensor in its upcoming DSLR, since even we have received such information that Canon and Sony prototypes are in the wild by having the same high resolution sensor.
