Nikon D400 finally coming in January 2016, according to famous Canadian nature photographer Brad Hill Nikon will announce a new Pro DX camera in first week of January, the quoted text from his website..
Anyway…in the last 10 days I’ve received 3 separate and independent communications (via email) telling me that a semi-pro (or even higher) quality DX body from Nikon is going to be announced in January. Two of these three sources have been spot-on in the past re: what they’ve told me was coming, and the third is from a new source that I really can’t say too much about (simply because I don’t know).
The interesting thing is that I’m getting scant specs, but those I am getting are consistent from all 3 sources – DX format, 10 fps, a “very good” buffer (whatever that actually means) and selling for around $2300 USD (which is about a billion dollars Canadian these days…well..actually around $3100 CAD). This consistency could say something about rumour credibility (or it could mean all 3 of my sources got THEIR information from the same source). Note that at least one of the sources derives their income from Nikon.
According to Brad sources the upcoming camera will feature 10fps of burst mode and will cost you around $2300 USD.
We are sure Nikon will announce Nikon D5 in January and we also hope the new D400 rumor comes out to be true.

For me Sigma was just a third party lens manufacturer for a while ago, but after the announcement of ART lenses from Sigma.. the game totally changed and even I have purchased a 17-35mm F1.8 Lens for my Canon 70D DSLR. The company ART series lenses are just awesome and Canon and Nikon must learn how to make better and bright aperture based zoom lenses from Sigma.

For the most part, there weren’t many surprises in this teardown. We’ve seen how Sigma has remade themselves as a company making only superb optics at very reasonable prices in the last few years. This lens is constructed very well. There isn’t the amazing heavy-duty construction of the Canon 35mm f/1.4. Instead, I’d characterize the construction of the Sigma as very efficient and carefully laid out. There’s a solid metal core with other parts all connecting directly to that core. Little touches like pegs to make sure a part is inserted in the proper rotation and shields over critical parts didn’t add much expense or weight, but show care was taken in the design. The new PENTAX 35mm full-frame digital SLR camera features a Crop mode, which allows you to select the image size to be recorded, with a choice of three settings: AUTO, FF and APS-C. The AUTO setting automatically selects the appropriate image size for the lens mounted on the camera. It selects either a 35mm full-frame image size for D FA- and FA-series lenses, or an APS-C image size for DA- and DA L-series lenses. The FF setting captures all images in a 35mm full-frame image size, regardless of the lens mounted on the camera.* The APS-C setting captures all images in an APS-C image size, regardless of the lens**, while displaying a cropping frame in the camera’s viewfinder.
* In the FF setting, an image outside the APS-C-format picture frame may not be reproduced in sufficient quality with certain lenses and/or in certain situations.
** When an image is cropped to an APS-C image size, the number of recorded pixels is lower, as the pixels in the cropped areas are eliminated.
The Sony RX1R II DXO Mark Test score surfaced over the web and finally once again we have got a new king if compact camera today, the overall test score of the camera reached a bench mark of 97 which is 6 points more than the test score of Sony RX1R camera.
The Sony RX1R II camera low-noise score is far better than RX1, the camera low light score uplifted from 2534 to 3204, that a clear gain of 670 points.
The Sony RX1R II is the best compact camera for professional shooters those who have a habit of using fullframe system camera, how ever the cost of the camera is bit high and that isolates camera from regular shooters.
