In the latest tweet, Sigma CEO confirmed that they are working on the research and development of Fullframe and APS-C Mirrorless camera lenses instead of DSLRs lenses.

According to the latest rumors surfaced over the web Canon will be doing a development announcement of Canon EOS R1 camera dedicated for news and sports photographers at the end of 2021 if everything goes on schedule.
