It’s almost confirmed that the Sony A7S III camera is coming in the month of August 2020. In an interview, Kenji Tanaka, VP, and Senior General Manager of Sony’s Business Unit confirmed that the Sony A7S III camera will arrive this summer 2020.

Kenji Tanaka, VP We’ve received many requests, especially from professional video content creators, and I can confirm that a successor to the Alpha 7S II will be coming, later this summer. Right now we’re focused on the launch of the new camera, and it will be a complete redesign of the whole system, including the image sensor. Everything is new.

Sony registered a new camera at the wireless certification agency. This is the second FF sensor-based Camera (The first one is here) registered in the year 2020. From the initial set of details, it looks like a pro-FF Mirrorless camera body and uses 5.1 Ghz Wireless Module for high-speed data transfer.
As usual once the camera gets registered usually it takes two to three months to become official. Apart from the Sony A7S3 camera rumors we are also getting hints related to the development of Sony A7 IV camera and Sony Fullframe Compact Camera Sony RX1R III update is also overdue. Now the AF system is becoming more and more complex with the integration of self-learning AI algorithms. Now, the upcoming Sigma lenses need proper communication and advance software so that Sigma can have equally good AF as of Canon RF Lenses.
