NEW CAMERA

HTC updated its flagship M series phone yesterday, the new phone name is HTC one M8, the phone features  major hardware upgrade compared to its predicessor and Dula camera on the rear side, the small camera at the top is for depth-sensing and the main camera captures images,

The main camera uses 4 MP UltraPixel module as in last’s years One. But this year the main camera is accompanied by a little secondary camera that records depth information of subjects form the frame area.

The HTC one M8 based on old rangefinder principal, both camera sees the same subjects with a different angle and the secondary camera records array of depth information in the exif data, once the image is captured than you can UFocus – Blur foreground and background parts of the photo by manual selection.

You can later edit you images and add artificial DSLR type lens blur effects aka bokeh as you want,  as you can see in the example below

other features include advance image stabilization, seasonal effects on background is also available,  the HTC one M8 have dual LED flash (warm and cold) similar to iPhone 5S that gives better white-balance to low light images.

The AF time is just as .03 sec and the camera have updated image processing algorithm, so we hope to get better image quality output from HTC One M8 compared to its predecessor.

Now Apart from the amazing dual camera in M8 we also have a powerful 2.3 GHz quadcore processor, runs on latest 4.4 KitKat combines with HTC’s latest Sense 6.0 UI, the graphic processing is powered by an Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory which can be further expanded via micro-SD card.
