According to latest rumors from a new source, Canon may announce Canon SX60 HS (or IS) camera at the end of May 2014, with a focal length of 20-2000mm (camera will feature 100X optical zoom).
We have no doubt about Canon capability (see the 100X compact zoom lens patent by Canon), but the current market competition is of 60X-65X, at 2015 we will have a bunch of 70-75X megazoom camera and on 2016 we will sure have 80-85X megazoom camera from Fuji, Sony, Nikon & Canon.
The 100-105X zoom compact zoom lenses slot is reserved for 2017-2018, if Canon announces a 100X optical zoom camera it will sure break the competition rhythm, BTW… I will sure buy Canon SX60 HS camera and add it to my camera collection.
Expected announcement date is Late May 2014.

According to latest rumors Canon is rumored to announce two new camera EOS C200 and EOS C400 at NAB 2014, the upcoming camera will be entry level 4K camera and EOS C400 will just sit behind Canon C500 camera.

More details about Sony to be announced Medium format camera are coming, the MF camera will feature same body design as RX series camera with a fixed Carl Zeiss lens as we have already seen in Sony RX1 and Sony RX1 R series compact mirrorless camera, the camera will be very portable (perfect for professional travel photographers) and will also have very competitive price tag.

Nikon finally issued a notice today that they will replace Faulty Nikon D600 with with a new D600 or an equivalent model (Nikon D610) for free is the problem is not fixed…
Because Nikon takes this matter very seriously, we will continue to offer users of the D600 a special service with which cameras are inspected, cleaned, and if necessary, shutter and related components are replaced free of charge, even after the product warranty has expired. However, if a number of multiple granular black spots are still noticeable in images captured with a D600 upon which the above service has been performed several times, Nikon will replace it with a new D600 or an equivalent model.
So finally they will fix or replace Nikon D600 even if they are out of warranty.

Panasonic announced a wearable 4K camcorder HX-A500, the camcorder is divided into two parts, first part is camera records 4K videos at 30 fps with a 1/2.3″ BSI sensor, Full HD recording is also available at 60 /30 fps and high-speed recording can be done upto 240 fps at lower resolution.
The other part connected via wire is a recorder, the recorder have very few buttons for fast and easy operation and comes with built in WiFi and NFC.
