We are getting more confirmation that the Nikon Z 6 Mark III camera will carry a 24-megapixel sensor. This information recently broke out from a Chinese source, which is approximately 90% of the time correct in the past. He also said that the Nikon Z7 Mark III camera will carry a 61-megapixel sensor.

So at this time, we got one more confirmation that not only the Z 6 Mark 3 camera is coming, but the Nikon Z7 Mark 3 is also set to arrive. The Nikon Z73 will have a huge upgrade in the sensor resolution from a 45-megapixel FX format BSI mass sensor. The upcoming camera will carry a 61 MP Sensor as per the latest set of rumors we have.

Actual: 62.5 Megapixel Effective: 61 Megapixel (9504 x 6336)
We received more information a few days ago but decided not to publish it at that time.

Z7III, 67 million pixels, TowerJazz. Z6III, 24 million pixels, Sony.
A source claims that the Nikon Z7 Mark III Camera uses a 67 MP sensor made by TowerJazz, and as usual, the Nikon Z6 Mark III camera uses a 24 MP Sensor.
Is Nikon testing out several prototypes of higher-resolution sensors?
As we all know, before a camera goes to the final production line, camera makers test several prototypes. So, maybe both of them are correct, but we don’t know at this moment which camera was made for the final production line.
This reminds me of the post that I published back in Aug 2022, when Nikon China accidentally published an image of a 67 67-megapixel resolution Camera on their social media account. However, at that time, we thought maybe the upcoming Nikon Z8 camera may carry a higher-resolution sensor. But, as we all know, the Nikon Z8 uses a 45.7 MP Sensor. So, that means they do have a working prototype of a 67MP body, and they have been testing it for a long time.

So, now the story is taking its final shape. Nikon does have a 67 MP working prototype, and recent rumors suggest that there is one 61 MP too. Now let’s wait and watch which prototypes get approval for the final production line

End of an era, the Canon EF 85 mm f 1.8 lens has been discontinued. The lens was released back in 1992 and as per the latest information coming out from the sources, the lens has been discontinued, the lens was in production cycle for more than 30 years, but as we all know the DSLR system has been cannibalized by the manufacturers themselves back from 2018. The research and development has been stopped in both bodies and lenses and slowly these DSLR makers are finally stopping the production of their lenses.

After looking at the samples of Leica phone 3 I was really stunned, as you can see portrait capture with the smartphone creating exceptional depth of field just similar to the lenses that is being used over a like a camera

Specifically, take a look at the black and white image below and just see how perfectly the depth enters into the image and how accurate it is that each and every line is completely vanished and you are not able to guess from any point of time that this is a kind of a synthetic depth is generated by an artificial intelligence algorithm so it is not just an artificial intelligence algorithm alone working it is being supported by a large sensor like a optics and combined with technology and hence you are getting an exceptional output.

According to Leica these images anpve you see specially developed software engine that simulates the look of the three most famous Leica M-Lenses: the Noctilux-M 1:1.2/50, Summilux-M 1:1.4/28 and Summilux-M 1:1.4/35. Even the depth control is very realistic like the original Leica Lenes which allows you to set the range of aperture stops from f/1.2 or f/1.4 to f/8. This allows bokeh, vignetting and spotlight rendering to be controlled and render ti perfectly based on signature Leica colour scheme – without a doubut the Leica Leitz Phone 3 will hit a new dimension in smartphone photogaphy.

Blackmagic announces the URSA Cine 12K camera. The latest announcement features a full-frame 12K sensor and Blackmagic claims it has 16 stops of dynamic range. The camera can record Blackmagic RAW up to 12K in a 3:2 open gate format. If you talk about frame rates, even while you are recording 12K, you can record it at 120 frames per second without any crop.
The camera features built-in 2.4 and 6 stops of IRND filters. For streaming, the camera features 5G Wi-Fi support, RJ45 connectivity, as well as a USB-C port for fast data transfer.
Full Frame 12K Sensor upto 120 FPS without CROP
One of the big interesting parts of this camera is you’re getting a full-frame sensor and 12K recording option with 120 frames per second recording without crop. Not only that, you can record 8K videos up to 240 FPS, you can record 6K videos as well as 4K, and all these frame rates and resolutions are available to you without any crop.
SUPER 35mm 9K Mode
Super 35mm mode is available at 9K recording where the frame rates of the camera go up to 160 frames per second.
No Dual NATIVE ISO support at initial release
No dual native ISO is available in the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K camera. It may be a decision made by Blackmagic itself not to include dual native ISO in the first release. Maybe in the future, we will have it with the firmware updates, who knows, but at the initial firmware version, we are not able to use dual native ISO in the camera.
You can also alter the settings of the Focus Puller wheel via the Display screen menus
Included High performance rack mount flash storage, features 8 TB
8- terabytes of modular memory slots are available which are included with the camera and CF Express (optional) is also available. But when you use CF Express cards in your camera, then some upper-limit frame rates will be cut off. So the maximum power of the camera can only be driven when you are using the available 8 terabyte memory module with the camera.
ACTIVE EF Mount with AutoFocus Support (Future Update)
Autofocus is also coming to the Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K camera via a firmware update in the future in Canon EF mount, or it’s better to say it will have an active Canon EF mount. But unfortunately, we will have the contrast style of focus support, so don’t expect too much on the autofocus side.
SSD Storage as an option in URSA 12K Cine Camera (Future Update)
The other major thing that will also be available in the upcoming firmware updates is the ability to record directly to an SSD drive via the USB-C port connectivity. But note that you have to sacrifice some frame rates and other camera performance when using an external SSD. The best performance is only available when using the internal available 8-terabyte memory module of the camera.
Blackmagic Design URSA Cine12K Price
Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K Camera Price $14,995 – B&H Store
