In an interview at imagine resource, Olympus representatives confirmed that Olympus E-M5 Mark III camera on its way. Delay occurred in the announcement of Olympus E-M5 Mark III camera due to shifting of production plant from China to Vietnam. We have told you back on Oct 2018 that Yongnuo working on smart camera. Finally, Android Micro 4/3 Camera showcased by Yongnuo during CP+ event. The camera prototype exhibited in the CP+event. As you can see the camera is coming with EF lens mount, soon it will become available for different mounts. Initially the camera uses a 16MP M4/3 sensor, on the rear side we have a, 5″ multi-touch 1080p display, as well as a 4G SIM card slot for instant content sharing. The camera will be announced in China first in the April month of 2019, no word about global announcement.

From the details we have received from Japanese sources its look like Olympus is in the mood to announce next iteration of Olympus TG-5 camera. So, we will be having our brand new Olympus TG-6 camera very soon with a mid-core update in the core specs of the camera.
Dpreview team done a short test to show up the the difference between the Nikon and Sony Eye AF tech. BTW, it’s nice to see Nikon Z7 eye AF works almost same as of Sony.
However I am not happy with the entire test that dpreview staff conducted, since I was expecting a test which shows more detailed comparison and analysis between the two, expectation increases when something coming out from world leading website like dpreview.
Nikon Z7 is first generation of Nikon Mirrorless camera, where as the Sony A7 III is the third generation of Mirrorless cameras. Despite of that the Nikon Z7 AF is working very effectively.
With the future firmware updates we do hope that Nikon Z7 eye AF will gradually improve.
According to latest sensor test details coming out by Photons to Photo website. The dynamic range of E-M1X camera is less compared to the 2+ year old Olympus E-M1 Mark II camera. Btw, we do know that both camera uses same sensor and AF system.
So, it’s a little surprise for me at least, that Olympus E-M1X Dynamic range isn’t better than of Olympus E-M1 Mark II.
