Based on the latest update we have received the leaked image is of the Insta360 RS 2, as you can see the new Insta360 RS 2 Action Camera now has a front Display panel to smoothly create VLOGS on the go. The Leica brand name can be seen written on the action camera lens. The camera is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch base, a Leica SUMMARIT lens, and a focal length equivalent to 16mm.
According to the latest rumors, Sony is holding an event in New York on November 7 and 8 for the release of new products. It is said that some European sports photographers have been invited to participate in the event in Istanbul, which coincides with the New York event timings. It is also fascinating that not only Sony’s photographers but even those using Canon and Nikon systems are invited to this Sony event. So, there is a very high probability that the Sony A9 Mark 3 camera will officially arrive on November 7 or 8, 2023
Out of the three cameras Sony registered, one of them is a drone camera and is not intended for regular users. This is almost confirmed now.
Sony has registered the unreleased product code names “WW559681,” “WW459276,” and “WW279317.” Among them, WW559681, which is manufactured outside of China, seems to have been confirmed as ILX-LR1.
Take a look at the details of the registered cameras
Sony A9 III
One of the three cameras is the Sony A9 Mark III. It’s 100% confirmed that this camera will be launched in New York. There are a lot of rumors floating around, but since we are close to the announcement, we have to wait for a confirmed set of leaked specifications as well as images of the camera. If we get any, we will post them as soon as possible.
Sony ZV-E10 II
The third camera is expected to be either the Sony ZV-E20 or the ZV-10 Mark 2. The Sony ZV-10 Mark II camera has been the most popular model for the past 2 years, contributing to more than 50% of Sony’s overall camera sales. So, Sony is finally gearing up to announce the successor of this ultra-popular model. However, it will not be in the same price range. It will have a slightly higher price range with better core specifications than the existing ones.
From October 23, 2023, Fuji will cut the price of Fuji GFX 100S from 39,800 ($5441) RMB to 29990 RMB ($4000 approx ). I hope and expect this massive price drop isn’t limited to China ONLY. Do check B&H Store after October 23, to check the price of the GFX 100S camera.
We can now confirm that no Canon M50 Mark III camera is coming soon, and the biggest reason is that Canon has ended the EF-M mount. It’s not a rumor anymore, it’s confirmed news coming out from a Japanese website.
Canon has finally ended the EF-M mount mirrorless cameras. It was expected from the announcement of the Canon R10 that Canon will soon end the EF-M mount, since a camera maker never maintains two different sets of mounts for a single sensor size, either for APS-C or for full frame.
We told you the same back in December 2022, Canon will soon end their EF-M Mount-based cameras, kindly check this article
The Canon M50 Mark II has suddenly disappeared from Canon’s lineup. Although the EOS M item remains, there are no applicable models. The possibility of a Canon M50 Mark III appearing is close to zero, so it seems safe to call it the end of the EOS M series. At the same time, all compatible EF-M lenses also have a “low stock” mark. Camera specialty stores are still accepting orders, but production of the lenses may have already been completed.
Looking at the series of events, it’s obvious that no more cameras are coming under EF-M mount from Canon and no further updates may be given to those cameras. Being number one in the camera market, Canon must openly communicate these things to its consumer base before ending a system lineup because many have already invested in EF-M mount lenses. Now those lenses are of no use since EF-M lenses are not compatible with the recently announced RF mount-based cameras
The popular French photography news website, Phototrend, was fortunate enough to secure an interview with Franck Bernard, Director of the Imaging Division at Fujifilm France, and what he said in the interview was really surprising
If we have decided to stop entry-level products such as X-T200 or X-E4, it is because it is not promising as a market – Franck Bernard
Fuji has left the entry-level market. In an interview, they confirmed that they have ended the XT 200 series cameras and no further updates will arrive. Along with that, the XE line is also discontinued.
I was expecting the Entry Level of Cameras is about to rise after AI AF introduced in X-Cameras along with a bunch of new third-party lens option
They have recently developed an advanced system and introduced it in their Fuji XH2S camera. Just after that, they introduced it in one of their semi-pro APS-C bodies, the Fuji XS20. Now, with an advanced artificial autofocusing mechanism and best-in-class core specifications associated with an open X-mount, the Fuji XS20 has become one of the best-selling cameras in the X line ever.
Now we were expecting that after the Fuji XS20, Fuji would implement their advanced AI-based artificial intelligence autofocusing system in their entry-level bodies like the XT 200 successor. And if that happened, without a doubt, with an advanced system, class-leading core specifications as they usually put in their cameras, and an open X-mount, the XT 200 successor (either it may be called XT 300 or XT 400) was expected to become a major threat to Sony, Canon, and Nikon entry-level bodies.
Unfortunately, Fuji has ended its plans to create more entry-level mirrorless cameras. This is not a good decision since Fuji is already limited to APS-C bodies. If they select a specific zone of pro users only, their consumer base will not grow as the competitors. This is certainly not a good decision. They should open up to everybody
Recent patents suggest that Panasonic is working on built-in variable ND filters for their cameras. From the body design that we see in the patents, we expect that they will consider their full-frame series first to introduce these built-in ND filters, and after that, we may see them in the GH series too.
Panasonic and Canon have also filed a patent for built-in ND filters. From the design patent, it’s very clear that they want to add their variable ND filter in upcoming professional consumer-grade cinema cameras.
Currently, two main companies produce electronic ND filters for cameras. One of them is Sony. Electronic ND technology is used in many Sony movie cameras. The other is LC-Tec of Sweden. The electronic ND filters on many non-Sony cameras come from LC-Tec
In terms of mechanical ND filter, we have cameras like Canon C70 and black magic 6K PRO.
