Sony finally announced the new A6300 camera with completely new sensor 24 Megapixel CMOS AF sensor that fabricated by 425 Phase AF points, the camera features 11 fps of continuous shooting speed and Max ISO range of 51200. The camera is now powered by a BionzX processing engine and also records High resolution 4K video. The Sony α6300 interchangeable lens camera will be available in March for about $1,000 for the camera body or for about $1,150 paired with a 16-50mm F3.5 – F5.6 kit lens (model SELP1650).

The newly developed 1/2.3 Exmor R CMOS sensor features 12.3 MP resolution and square pixel structure for better low-light performance and better dynamic range.
Take a look at the major features of the newly developed sensor

- High speed – Still image (4000 x 3000) 35 fps@12 bit, 40fps@10 bit 4k2k 60fps
- Interface – MIPI I/F
The most eye-catching part of the sensor is, it is capable of recording high-quality images @ 35 frames per second and it can also shoot 4K2K videos @ 60fps.
Upcoming Sony Compact camera like HX80 may feature the same sensor inside it.

 Sony patent a new standard zoom lens for its Fullframe A7 series Mirrorless camera, the 24-70mm zoom lens features a constant F2 aperture through-out out the zoom range.
Till now no standard fullframe zoom lens made by Sony offers F2 aperture, See more Sony Patents.

Sony China added two blurred images of upcoming A6000 successor, from the images we are not able to detect anything, However be assured the announcement is imminent.

Latest specification surfaced over the web says the design of the upcoming A6100 mirrorless camera looks similar to A6000 camera.

Now we are all waiting for Canon next mega announcement that may include Canon 1DX Mark II and a big surprise…. The article consist of two parts, what we do know and what we expect
What we know
Starting from a part of old interview of Canon Managing Director,
Masaya Maeda, the Managing Director and Chief Executive, Image Communication Products Operations confirmed that Canon is working on serious mirrorless camera system other than EOS-M
Currently no Canon camera offers more than 22MP. Do your DSLR customers ask for higher resolution?
Maeda: Yes. We know that many of our customers need more resolution and this is under consideration. In the very near future you can expect us to show something in terms of mirrorless and also a higher resolution sensor.
It’s now become clear that Canon was working on 5DS / 5DSR and Fullframe Mirrorless camera and high-end mirrorless camera before the interview was published on September 2014,
Back on Feb 6, 2015 Canon announced world first super high resolution DSLR camera (Canon 5DS), We don’t know the actual reason behind the delay but Canon Fullframe mirrorless was rumored to arrive in 2015.
What we expect
We have published on January 14th, 2016 that Canon may announce high-end mirrorless camera on February 2016 [click here to see]. Finally, According to latest rumors surfaced over the web Canon may announce Canon 1DX Mark II along with Canon high-end mirrorless in the month of February, 2016.
