The Panasonic Rumored large sensor compact camera finally announced and its features M4/3 size sensor, we are comparing the ultra popular RX100 M3 camera with the LX100, take a look who wins…
 Sensor
The Panasonic LX100 features large multi-aspect 4/3″ type MOS sensor that produce images of 12.8MP still and records 4K Ultra HD video at 30 and 24 fps on the other hand Sony features a 20.1 MP megapixel 1″ Exmor R CMOS sensor that features backside-illuminated technology to produce better low-light images.
 However having a large sensor and big photodiode Panasonic will produce better low-light images with more dynamic range.

Good news: According to latest rumors surfaced from northlight (NL), The Canon upcoming Canon Rebel T6i / 750D will feature EVF (Electronic Viewfinder) and Sensor same as of Canon 70D (20.2MP APS-C CMOS) and advance DIGIC 6 image processor.
The Rumor look bit true – Yes its is possible and Canon will use Canon 70D sensor and DIGIC 6 to upgrade the image quality and AF system of the Rebel Line, but I don’t see any logical reason to drop a optical viewfinder from DSLR, It is possible that Canon may use Hybrid Viewfinder… Stay with us for more updates.

Panasonic showed the expected sales volume of mirrorless camera in 2016 during a presentation event at Tokyo (image via: DC.watch), the sales volume mirrorless systems is against the total number of DSLRs sales in 2016, more or less but the fact looks true to me since the mirrorless market is slowly and steadily eating-up the DSLR market from 2012.

I was looking at the list of new products announced by Panasonic in Japan today, everything was same except one the Panasonic GM1 S, however after looking at the core specification the camera look similar to GM5 camera..but I am not able to fine viewfinder in it..take a look at the translated press release below (inlcuding the major features of the new GM1 S camera)

Another BIG nail in the compact coffin, DynaOptics successfully developed a method to add optical zoom lens inside the smartphone camera module without increasing its size, but new technology needs more R&D before it adopted in large sacle, so it’s not coming too soon.
 But Samsung already manages to compress a large 10X optical zoom lens in ultra compact size, Ulocked version available at Amazon
Smartphone’s camera image quality, resolution and sensor size has improved incredibly in the past few years. The credit for this advancement goes to the manufactures of the smartphone companies who are spending billions of money in R&D of technology and due to this dedicated development in the present time smartphone image quality can overcome the quality of pictures produced by several consumer level compact cameras.
Leading lens manufacture company “DynaOptics” wants to add optical zoom technology that would fit into even the very slim bodies of smartphones. s. To achieve this, DynaOptics does away with the conventional zoom setup, which involves lens elements moving along the optical axis to change focal length. Instead, it uses a new system that achieves the same effect with aspherical lens elements moving laterally on a micron-scale.
However presently the technology exists in only prototype format and the next task for DynaOptics would be to miniaturize it further and get it ready for mass production . The mass production will start probably by the first quarter of 2015, hence it is possible that people may see apple iPhone Plus 2 with optical zoom in 2016.

 According to latest rumors surfaced over the web Samsung will announce Black and White APS-C sensor based mirrorless camera, the camera will use the same sensor as of NX300 camera without color array and AA filter.
If the rumor is true than Samsung will become second camera manufacture (after leica) to introduce a pure B&W photography dedicated mirrorless camera, will you buy one? share your thoughts with us…

Latest rumors suggest that Sony in collaboration with Zeiss and Mamiya are preparing to announce new medium format on 2015, no detailed specification available yet, as we know that Sony is producing high quality CMOS sensors used in the latest cameras like PhaseOne and Hasselblad, so there will be no problem for Sony to develop a medium format camera. we will update you soon as we get any new information.
