 During an interview Canon Mr. Masaya Maeda of Canon revealed that they are working on compact 4K solutions for consumers, that will compete with Panasonic GH4 and Sony A7s Camera 4K capable camera, take a look at the glimpse of the interviewer …
When asked “How are you addressing the demand for compact, 4K-capable cameras like Sony’s a7S and Panasonic’s GH4?“, Mr. Maeda said:
Naturally I can’t give you details of our future plans but we are fully aware that such requirements exist in the market. We’re currently in the process of investigating, mainly to satisfy the needs of news media, and we have every intention of addressing this need in future products.
Yes we are getting multiple rumors before this that Canon will going to implement 4K recording options to its upcoming DSLRs and we do also hope that they will implement it first on 5D Mark IV camera.

Finally Canon is planing to replace a decade old Canon 50mm F1.2L Lens with the new one, the lens was introduced in 2001. The upcoming lens will obliviously contain multiple improvements but most important the upcoming lens will carry floating element like the EF 85mm f 1.2L II USM ,
Floating lens elements are also know as close-distance aberration compensation mechanisms that move independently from the main lens groups for the sole purpose of maintaining sharp, even detail across the image field and low measures of color aberration as the lens reaches its closest focusing point.
No expected time frame is available now but the Canon 35mm f/1.4L lens will arrive before the 50mm F1.2 L II Lens, so stay with us 24X7

 Canon is rumored to announce 4 new mirrorless camera in 2015, that may also include a fullframe mirrorless camera, However keep in mind that the rumor is of low credibility, so take it as grain of salt.
We also know that, Canon is sleeping in mirrorless section for years and the product development rate / innovation rate of Canon is slow compared to other Camera companies, but in an recent interview published dpreview Canon acknowledge they move quite slow..
Quite often, one of the criticisms leveled at Canon is that the company is a little slow to produce innovation compared to competitors. There’s definitely a perception that Canon goes carefully, and slowly. Is this true?
Personally, I think we’re slow as well. Every day I’m saying ‘speed up, make it faster!’. One of our themes now as a company is upon developing a new technology, to shorten the time between development and when that technology is introduced into a product. We need to shorten that time. That’s our goal.
