According to the latest rumors from reputed rumor mills, Canon M50 Mark II is partially discontinued in Japan. As we all know, the camera makers use a country-wide discontinuation policy.

20-40mm F/2.8 Di III VXD (Model A062) Overview
The Model A062 is Tamron’s new large-aperture standard zoom lens for Sony E-mount cameras compatible with full-size mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras. Starting with an ultra-wide angle of 20mm and covering up to the standard range of 40mm, it is the smallest and lightest in its class*1. Beautiful images are achieved throughout the entire zoom range, and it is useful not only for still image shooting but also for video shooting such as Vlog. The AF drive employs a silent and agile linear motor focus mechanism VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) to achieve high-speed, high-precision AF.
