Fuji X30 may be announced on July 3rd by Fujifilm, the news is surfaced over web by a senior dpreview member and forum moderator labe , so finally we get the announcement date of Fuji X30. Now, the other part of of the rumor (and final) is bit unconfirmed, the Fuji X30 will arrive with a 1″ X-Trans sensor and there will be also a cheaper version of X100 camera coming. Now finally the rumor mills also saying the same words… Fuji X30 will feature a 1 inch X-Trans CMOS II Sensor, the other most supportive proof is the sliver version discontinued by B&H (see here) and possibly only few models of Black Fuji X20 are remaining. If rumors are true than Fuji X30 will become a very strong competitor for recently announced Sony RX100 M3 camera…. Earlier we have published the story that X-Pro2 coming with Full-frame sensor, but the rumor is not true but …. according to latest info the upcoming camera will feature 24 MP X-trans sensor. In a recent interview published at dpreview website Fujifilm manager Toshihisa Iida said ” Q.Will X-Trans sensors get bigger, in the future?……. Answer: At the moment we’re focusing on the APS-C format but in the longer term, after we’ve completed our lens lineup… I can’t deny the possibility. ” It would make perfect sense for Fujifilm to release a FF X-Series camera since Sony already announced it at the end of 2013 and it is beyond any doubt that it is possible to do since Fujifilm is a expert in doing innovating things beyond consumer or competitors expectations. I have a strong hope that we will soon see Fullframe compact and mirrorless camera from Fujifilm possibly at the end of 2014 or at the beginning of 2015. src-dpreview
Latest info about Fujifilm x200 surfaced over the web, according to the rumor the fuji x200 will feature a newly developed sensor, no-optical low pass filter due to X-trans technology and advance contrast+Phase based AF sysytem, however the source is new so take it as grain of salt, Fuji X200 rumored specification
There are also some confusion about the X200 sensor size, since some new sources saying that the upcoming camera from fujifilm may feature a fullframe sensor, however based on my experience fujifilm will not do such a experiement with ultra popular X100 series. Fujifilm X-T1 available for pre-order at Amazon and B&H, the X-T1 comes with 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II Sensor, Hybrid AF System, Continuous Shooting up to 8 fps, 0.5″ and captures Full HD 1080p Video Recording at 60 fps, on the back side we have a decent 2.360k-Dot OLED Viewfinder and a 3.0″ 1,040k-Dot Tilting LCD Monitor.
