Canon surprised us by sending invites to journalist for a pro event in Germany, the professional event will start from oct 12th in Berlin, the image above you can see is of Canon 1 Series body without any name and with a Q icon / logo in the center. Why Canon surprised us? we have published a rumor that according to other websites Canon won’t announce anything BIG this year (see here), It’s true also since Canon already announced 100D / SL1, 700D and 70D this year . The Canon 5D Mark IV and 2D X (1DX successor) expected to arrive after 2014, the only camera due for update is 7D, So we may see 7D Mk II camera in Q1 of 2014. + Canon is working on Medium Format camera and but they will not announce it until the new system is fully developed with Big bunch of High Quality Lenses, however the rumored date of new system announcement is Photokina 2014. the only pro camera that may arrive in 2013 is 7D Mark II, but chances are less than 50%. About Canon Big sensor Compact – Canon may take its time, but we have hint that Canon is testing Big Sensor compact camera and we will sure see some big announcement in Q1 of 2014. (Keep in mind that Nikon D3200 also uses Sony Sensor) 2. More AF point: Sony A3000 have better AF system compared to Nikon S3200, Sony features 25 AF points and Nikon D3200 features 11 AF points only. 3. Better Video Mode: Sony A3000 Supports Full HD Video capture mode @ 60fps frame rate, Nikon Full HD is limited to 30 fps only.
