Yesterday, we had the official teaser of the DJI Action 6 camera; just after that, we had the confirmed pricing of the Action 6 in Europe and the UK. Now, finally, we have a fresh hands-on image of the highly anticipated DJI Action 6 camera, alongside comparing it side by side. The images show the DJI Action 5 Pro. It is very clear that the person is holding a kind of prototype of the Action 6, but that will give you a very clear idea of the size and the shape of the new DJI Action 6 camera compared to the old one. Although the announcement is about to happen on November 18, and we already have a sort of the product, the DJI Action 6 camera, this is a unique image where we are able to witness the side-by-side comparison and the hands-on look of the upcoming Action 6 camera.
So, DJI fans know the fact that we are tracking the Action 6 camera rumours very closely at TheNewCamera.com, starting from September with its smartwatch integration teases to yesterday’s official teaser confirmation for the November 18 reveal.

Just after the announcement of the Insta360 Antigravity A1 drone. The buzz has started in the market, and we will soon have a DJI Avata 360 drone. Since each of them is interfering in their consumer space, it has become a bit mandatory for DJI to also interfere in the Insta360 consumer space by announcing a 360 drone. The best part is that DJI has recently announced a 360 camera, which has already covered almost 40% of the 360 camera market share just after its announcement, so that’s quite a bit of surprise for all of us that with just one (single Osmo 360 camera) of their products, they have covered 40% of the entire 360 camera market. And now it’s time for 360 Drone, the Avata 360
Thanks to the tipster for sending us the best and high-res image of the upcoming Avata 360
Recently, one of the most trusted and renowned tech sleuths and leakers, Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) has officially confirmed the existence of the DJI Avata 360 – a game-changing addition to DJI’s FPV lineup.
We didn’t have any doubt related to the existence of the DJI 360 drone, since we have seen images of the working prototypes of the drones before and also published them on our website. From this summer of June 2025, we have started getting images and details related to the DJI Avata 360 drone. The initial prototypes were seen with the Avata series body and having 360° capturing capability. Obviously, it’s a signal that DJI is preparing for a big fight with 360 Antigravity series drones.
A Quick Recap: From Leaks to Confirmation
The rumour started from August 2025, where we have published the DJI mini 360 information on our website just after that things heated dramatically and guess what we got the first leaked images of the DJI 360 drone prototypes being tested in the wild, the images still you can see which does have cinewhoop-style body and compact frame, propeller guards wit ha 360 camera in the front of the drone which look very similar to recently announced OSMO 360 camera drone. Just after few days later, on September 10, fresh leaks pointed to it reports we have the industry insiders, it’s an evolution of the Avata line, with the teaser name “DJI Avata 3 or DJI 360?” So, the early prototype that we have seen was highly impressive of the new 360 drones, Let’s sum up the specs that we are expecting
360° Dual-Lens Camera System: The 360 Drone will obviously have a dual-camera setup. The initial glimpse of the drone that we have seen looks like an Avata-style drone integrated with an OMSO 360 camera on top of it.
Enhanced FPV Experience: The initial prototype we have seen is actually built on the Avata 2 body type. The image is clear: the operator is using goggles for virtual flight and a controller.
Compact Cinewhoop Design: Overall design tells very clearly it has strong prop guards for indoor/outdoor versatility, similar to Antigravity A1. We are expecting it to weigh under 250g to skirt regulations in most countries worldwide,
AI-Powered Editing: Built-in Flighthub 2.0 ties for real-time obstacle avoidance and auto-edits that stitch 360° clips into cinematic narratives.
So, no official teaser or information is coming straight from DJI, but obviously, the set of information that we have published in the past includes the prototype images that we have received at the very same time. The epic takeover of the 360 camera market has already started from the Osmo 360 camera, and finally it’s time for DJI to spin off the entire market with the introduction of of 360 drone.
Why Igor Bogdanov’s Leak Matters
Bogdanov isn’t just any tipster; he has a track record of 98-99% accuracy in the past, in the past, he has done spot-on predictions for the Avata 2’s 4K/100fps upgrades and the Mic 3’s July launch. When he says “confirmed,” that means yes, it’s now the product is on the horizon.
That said, US users might face hurdles with DJI’s ongoing regulatory tango, as one reply noted: “Not for us in the US..” But globally, this is a win for creators chasing that next-level FPV immersion.
What’s Next for the DJI Avata 360?
We are expecting the announcement of the DJI 360 in the first half of 2026. Insta 360 antigravity A1 was announced back on August 14,20, 25. But it will officially arrive in January of 2026 for users. Price is also a very important factor, keeping the price figure of the DJI 360 Drone very competitive, according to the Insta360 Antigravity A1 Price.

We have done extensive coverage of the DJI Neo drone, and finally, it’s official in China, and we have our first review by pro reviewer Huaibab’s real-world tests. As we have published today (Oct 30), the DJI Neo 2 will be announced in Europe on November 13, 2025. Now we have its first review, although it’s in the mainland Chinese language, we have written and structured it for your better understanding, so let’s dig deep into the first review of the DJI, and how it impresses with its new features and set of extended controls.
Review done by Huaiba Crazy Tech
After watching the footage just now, everything was shot entirely using the NEO 2 by Huaibab. This time, let me get straight to the point: the NEO 2 has truly upgraded to the max—they’ve squeezed out every bit of the toothpaste without holding back. So, what exactly has been upgraded in the NEO 2? Let’s start with the exterior design of the drone.
Design Overhaul: Compact, Smarter, and Still Registration-Free
The NEO 2 features a completely new body design. The overall size and wheelbase are slightly larger, the colour has been changed to the same deep grey as the Mini 5 Pro, and the weight has increased by about 20 grams, 151 grams for the bare drone, and 160 grams with the O4 transmission module added. It still remains under 249 grams, qualifying as a drone that doesn’t require registration or a license. On the underside and sides of the body, two new buttons have been added. Now, you don’t need to open the DJI Fly App or wait for your phone to connect—you can directly long-press these buttons to switch and adjust shooting parameters. There’s also a small screen on the front that lets you instantly see the current shooting settings. The most thoughtful change is moving the LED indicator lights to the front, right next to the lens, so you can clearly see the drone’s status at a glance—no more guessing like with the previous generation whether the NEO has finished recording. And next to the LED lights is a laser obstacle avoidance system that works continuously at night for safe return-to-home, now also included on the NEO 2.

Safety & Flight Smarts: Omnidirectional Avoidance on a Budget
The NEO 2 now has fisheye lenses on both the top and bottom of the body. With just dual binocular vision lenses, it achieves omnidirectional obstacle avoidance. This greatly improves flight safety when using movements like reverse tracking, gradual pull-away circling, etc. Thanks to the addition of the binocular vision positioning system, the NEO 2 now has significantly improved stability when flying over water, snow, or other surfaces with unclear ground textures. The key point is that DJI doesn’t just let the drone see its surroundings—it fully brings down advanced features from the Mini 4 Pro and above, like subject tracking for people and vehicles, and the 8-direction compass for custom follow angles. This gives the NEO 2 the same tracking capabilities as high-end models.
In terms of power, the NEO 2 has newly designed propellers that make flight noise quieter and less shrill. Ascent speed has increased by 65%, from 3 m/s to 5 m/s, while the maximum altitude remains capped at 120 meters. Wind resistance has slightly improved from Level 4 to Level 5. Tracking speed has jumped 50%, from about 28 km/h to 43 km/h, fully capable of keeping up with cycling. Battery life is similar to the previous generation—around 18 minutes, or enough for 20 palm takeoffs without issue.
Lowlight test by Huaiba Crazy Tech of the NEO 2 vs NEO drone
Imaging: Low-Light Magic and Vlog-Ready Upgrades
In terms of image quality, compared to the first generation, the aperture has been upgraded from F2.8 to F2.2. The sensor size remains 1/2 inch, but the NEO 2 uses a newly upgraded sensor and image processor, bringing clear improvements in low-light performance and video specs. Standard recording now supports an impressive 4K 60fps for smoother footage, perfect for slowing down to half speed in post-production. It also adds 4K 100fps slow-motion mode to capture stunning frozen moments. Additionally, vertical video—commonly used for short-form content—has been upgraded from 1080p to 2.7K. While photo resolution remains at 12 megapixels and still doesn’t support RAW (a slight downside), the gimbal has been completely redesigned. It upgrades from a single-axis to a dual-axis mechanical gimbal with the addition of a roll axis, and the pitch axis range has increased from 60° upward to 70°.

New Tricks: Gestures, Storage, and Playstyles
With the roll axis, flight footage stability is greatly improved, and digital stabilization cropping is significantly reduced. Compared to the first-gen NEO, the field of view is much wider. Windy conditions or downward shots during landing cause far less shaking, and you’ll rarely see gimbal limit warnings. H
Although the NEO 2 doesn’t support 10-bit DLog-M or RAW, it inherits the Mini 5 Pro’s color science, producing pleasing straight-out-of-camera footage without editing. Even in low evening light, colors remain vibrant, helping mask minor low-light detail flaws. Plus, the NEO 2 can now recognize people in the frame and uses algorithms to optimise skin tones and lighting.intelligent selfie feature—it’s like having a personal photographer automatically switching angles for perfect shots every time. The NEO 2 is truly the next-generation Vlog god machine.
Internally, storage has doubled from 22GB to 49GB. File
transfer speed to your phone is now 4x faster, reaching 80MB/s, so large videos move quickly.
The most fun new feature, as shown in the intro, is gesture control. Previously, you had to set follow angles and distances before takeoff. Now, just raise your palm and spread your fingers to instantly adjust follow direction. Open and close both hands to control shooting distance—super responsive and fun. You can even switch the follow subject: if someone else nearby raises their hand, the drone switches to them. New follow modes include cycling and skiing. In this demo, Huaibab used cycling follow with precise 8-angle compass settings—the bike tracking is incredibly strong. Master Shots are now built-in, and Flip’s signature dolly zoom is included for the first time.
To stop recording or return at any time, just extend your palm—the drone pauses, finds your hand, and lands. No need to stand still for 3 seconds or use the app like other models. For photos, the most practical new feature is intelligent selfie—let’s head outside to demo the NEO 2’s many playstyles.
For live audio in videos, open the DJI Fly App, pair, and it uses your phone’s mic. NEO 2 also supports voice commands like the first generation. Allow u to take off with voice. On-screen, it recognises the person as the subject. Default follow mode. In app, drag to change angle—e.g., rear follow, walk, it follows behind. Switch to front—it reverses. All audio you hear is NEO 2 + phone mic.
It also tracks vehicles. Select the car icon, enable follow, and switch angles. Car moves—it auto-adjusts (e.g., tail). Normally only on Mini 4 Pro+, but NEO 2’s omnidirectional avoidance enables 8-way people/vehicle tracking.
Choosing between the entry-level DJI Flip, NEO 2, and Mini 5 Pro?
Mini 5 Pro: Most complete, top image quality, six fisheye lenses for best avoidance, largest wheelbase = best wind/power, lossless vertical + rotation gimbal. Drawback: no palm takeoff. Choose for ultimate quality/features.
Flip vs. NEO 2: Flip has better image quality, 3-axis gimbal, larger wheelbase, 3000m altitude takeoff, better wind resistance. Pick Flip (or larger Mini 5 Pro) for harsh high-altitude/coastal use. Downside: forward-only avoidance—fly carefully.
Summary: NEO 2 packs omnidirectional avoidance, major image/power/speed upgrades into a tiny, cheap body. Most versatile mini DJI drone. Works with existing remotes/goggles. Palm takeoff/selfie, gesture control, remote for range, and goggles for FPV racing.

As per the latest reports, the DJI Neo 2 is officially coming tomorrow, October 30, 2025, in China. The pocket-sized FPV drone is specifically made for content creators and the vlogging community. Those who love to create content with ease and enjoy having drones that follow them continuously and record their activities at the same time will appreciate the little Neo 2. It also boasts great FPV capabilities and is now more enhanced compared to the first-generation Neo 1 drone. But despite all that, the fact is that the drone announcement on October 30 will be done for the Asian market, and in Europe, it will be officially announced on November 13, 2025, and that will align with the pre-orders and shipping for mid-month rollout. Now, in United States of America, it may be delayed due to the FCC hurdle / the ban that is coming soon. In just a month or so, we are close to the DJI official ban in the USA, and it won’t hurt the existing drones you already own or those that are in the retail stores of the USA, but it will surely hurt the new announcements like the Neo 2. So for now, we do not have any clue related to the Neo 2 availability in the USA, but at the very same time, the embargo of the FCC expires in January 2026, which is a hope for its global rollout in that particular month, and it may become available in the US market if they skip the ban part. But it doesn’t seem that they can escape the ban as per the situation we have right now. No one is ready to audit DJI; at the very same time, if no one is going to audit the company, the ban will take place automatically.

Now, DJI is evolving as per the requirements of the situation, like a very smart brand. They have switched to a different strategy recently, making China the first announcement which will make the product available as soon as possible to the Asian market, and after that, they will do a European rollout where they have to face very less hurdles, and finally the global rollout or the USA-based rollout of the product where obviously they are facing a lot of hurdles related to the drone announcement. Although if they are into action camera announcements or the pocket series, then obviously there is no problem, but they may follow the same strategy with the cameras too, not only drones.

The DJI Pocket 4 is no longer a rumour, According to the latest report, the DJI Pocket 4 has entered mass production. The best part is that we have recently received a prototype image of the DJI Pocket 4 chassis. Which also shows up side-by-side comparison to the pocket three camera, where you can clearly see the difference between the design of the both the camera, as well as the fact is, this is not the first time, we are seeing a modified design of the pocket 4 camera, exactly, same type of EXTRA BUTTONS designed based pocket 4 glimpsed over the Barcelona promotional shoot, both of these images add a super fuel to the intensive speculation over the enhanced controls of the upcoming camera, so let’s dive into the details to explore the set of fresh information, we have related to the pocket 4 camera
Mass Production Signals Imminent DJI Pocket 4 Launch
Source confirmed that the DJI Pocket 4 has already entered production state, which is about to be released in a few months. In the post we published on October 11th, 2025, we saw the DJI Pocket 4 NDA, and just after that, we saw DJI Pocket 4 Leak: Fresh Prototype Photos from Barcelona Shoot Spark Major Buzz on October 23rd. So, at the end, all these sets of information do give strong hints, the DJI is finally preparing to announce the Pocket 4 in the next 2 to 3 months.
Side-by-Side Chassis Leak: DJI Pocket 4 vs. Pocket 3 – Evolution, Not Revolution
So the recently leaked image does give us a very clear look at the modified chassis of the pocket for the camera. Let’s do a quick comparison and short analysis of the Pocket 4 modified design.
Grip and Ergonomics: We already have the exact domain details of the upcoming pocket 4 camera via the NDA document
Feature
DJI Osmo Pocket 3
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 (Leaked)
Key Differences
Weight
179 g
~116 g (without accessories)
Pocket 4 is 35% lighter, making it more pocketable and easier to carry. for extended handheld use like vlogging or travel.
Dimensions
139.7 × 42.2 × 33.5 mm (H × W × D)
145 × 38.3 × 30 mm (H × W × D)
Pocket 4 is taller (by ~5 mm) but narrower (by ~4 mm) and thinner (by ~3.5 mm). The confirmed set of specifications suggests a sleeker, more streamlined design— enhancing portability.
Refined Textures and Build: The Pocket 4: The basic handle remains unchanged; as per the source, it’s very familiar in its hand. The overall look of the Pocket 4 camera doesn’t look very similar to the Pocket 3. In terms of control and the design layout.
Button Functions: We can clearly see two visible buttons. In the new design of the pocket 4 camera, the source didn’t share the exact function of the buttons. Our editors were discussing whether it might be custom buttons or maybe zoom in-out, since many of the early testers gave us strong hints that the new Pocket 4 Zooming ability is much better than that of the Pocket 3. (Obviously, Pocket 3 zooming ability was a big mess for sure)
Display will remain the Same: The rotation angle cutout, as well as the display connector style in the middle of the chassis, remains the same as that of the Pocket 3. So, the 2″ Rotatable Screen is expected to appear again in the Pocket 4 also.
Authenticity as pre-production units: Well, since the images do look very legit, and this is not the first time we have seen such a design (already published before), so well be won’t have any doubts about the authenticity
Barcelona Shoot Photos Amplify the Buzz: Extra Buttons Hint at Smarter Controls
As per our previous post, “DJI Pocket 4 Leak: Fresh Prototype Photos from Barcelona Shoot Spark Major Buzz”,
The best part is that today’s leaked prototype, or better to say the chassis image of the Pocket 4 camera, matches exactly with the prototypes — or better to say again, the promotional Pocket 4 BTS shoot video image — that we shared in our article a while ago. So that’s the best part, but again, in both of the images, and specifically in today’s or the Barcelona one, the camera unit is not very clearly visible.
But there is a logical question. What will happen if I select the vertical shooting mode instead of horizontal? At that time, both of the buttons will get hidden inside the display unit area of the device, and for sure, how are we going to use the buttons while we are in the vertical mode of the Pocket 4 camera? So that’s a kind of curious question that raises in my brain when I see the design of the buttons as well as the display style.
Stay Tuned: DJI Pocket 4 Reveal Could Drop Soon
The DJI Pocket 4 camera has already entered the mass production stage. And, the other big signal was the leaked NDA letter that we published a while ago. So all these things indicate yes, the announcement is very near to us. But despite all this, we were highly confused about the design or the type of camera coming in the Pocket 4. However, from the recent past two leaks, the design part has become very clear to us — from the Barcelona promotional video shoot to the recent chassis leaks of the Pocket 4 camera. Now we are putting our focus on the camera itself.
Initially, from the recent design leaks and insider tips, the camera is said to have better zooming capability than the Pocket 3 camera while maintaining the same video quality.
