The Pocket 4P is already in stock at major retailers worldwide, except in the USA. We have also seen multiple times the review units pop up on social media channels, websites like ours, TheNewCamera.com, as well as on user online forums, and finally, it’s officially to be announced in China on June 15, which is today.
This is excellent news for creators in Asia, who are waiting for the next-generation Pocket 4P camera.
DJI China’s official flagship store is confirming the June 15 launch of the Osmo Pocket 4P.
Translated version of the official DJI store chat.
Official Confirmation from DJI China Store
Customer service from DJI’s official Chinese flagship store confirmed today that the Pocket 4P will launch on June 15. When asked about pricing, the representative stated:
“The Osmo Pocket 4P will officially release on June 15. The price starts from 3799 yuan. It is recommended to wait for the official announcement.”
This is the clearest launch date we’ve received so far.
DJI Pocket 4 PRO: US Availability Status
As of right now, there is no official way to buy the Osmo Pocket 4P in the United States.
DJI has not received full FCC authorisation for the Pocket 4 series, which is why both the standard Pocket 4 and the Pocket 4P are not being sold through DJI’s US website, Amazon US, B&H, Adorama, or Best Buy.
At the very same time, specifically for buyers in the United States of America, we published an article yesterday on the possible methods that you can use to buy the Pocket 4P / Pro camera if you are in the USA.
Until DJI resolves the regulatory issue, American buyers will have to rely on grey market imports if they want the camera sooner.
Important Note for US Buyers: Grey market units may start appearing on eBay, and importers are ready to ship within days of the China launch. However, these come with risks – limited or no US warranty, potential support issues, and regulatory uncertainty.
DJI pocket 4 Pricing official confirmation
Pricing in China (For Reference)
The Pocket 4P is launching in China at 3799 yuan, which converts to approximately:
$562 USD in US Dollars
This is lower than many earlier global rumours ($730–800 range). Global pricing is still unconfirmed and will likely be higher when the camera is officially released outside China.
What’s New on the Pocket 4P?
The biggest upgrade over the standard Pocket 4 is the dual-camera system — a 1-inch main sensor paired with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto lens. This gives creators real optical zoom for the first time in the Pocket series, making it significantly more useful for vlogging, travel, and run-and-gun filmmaking.
Other expected improvements include better dynamic range and more professional color tools, positioning the 4P as the more cinematic version of the Pocket 4.

What’s Next?
China: Sales begin today (June 15)

Finally, we have the white version of the DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera, which was quite an unexpected move from DJI. Before the Pocket4 series, Pocket gimbal cameras were generally available in black, with no additional body colour options. This is the first time we are seeing the Pocket 4/Pocket 4 Pro available in white.
While most of the early coverage has focused on the standard black model, the white edition has a clean, almost premium feel. The body, gimbal, and controls are finished in a soft creamy white with red accents on the record button. It stands out in a good way — less “tech gadget” and more like something you’d actually enjoy carrying around.
That said, it does show fingerprints and dust, scratches and more… easily than the black version, which is something to keep in mind if you’re rough with your gear.
The Real Upgrade: Dual Cameras + 3x Optical Zoom
The biggest reason to consider the Pocket 4 Pro over the regular Pocket 4 is the hardware. This version comes with a dual-camera setup – a 1-inch main sensor paired with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto lens.
For anyone who shoots interviews, talking-head videos, or wants that nice background compression without losing quality, the optical zoom makes a noticeable difference. The dynamic range is also improved (up to 17 stops with D-Log 2), which gives you more flexibility when grading footage later.
The Big Problem for US Buyers
We all know that DJI is facing some unexpected hurdles. So, here’s the part that actually matters most if you’re in the United States:
As of June 2026, the DJI Pocket 4 Pro is still not officially available in the US.
DJI Pocket 4 and 4P received FCC approval (before Dec 25), but later, it seems that the last-minute FCC approvals have been revoked. And DJI also issued relevant statement related to it,
DJI’s most repeated and current official statement regarding the Osmo Pocket 4 and Pocket 4 Pro is:
“The Osmo Pocket 4 will not be available in the U.S. market at launch due to pending FCC authorisation.”
This statement has been quoted by media outlets (including The Verge) and remains unchanged as of June 2026.
So you won’t find it at B&H, Adorama, or on Amazon US through official channels. The only way to get one right now is through grey market sellers – usually imported from Europe or Asia.
This means:
No official US warranty
Limited or no customer support from DJI
You’re taking on some risk with the purchase
But wait, there is a hope. We have the Xtra Muse 2 PRO Coming Soon, and it almost features the same core specs and body design as the pocket 4 PRO, which will soon become available in the USA just after the pocket 4 PRO announcement.
So… Should You Buy the White Pocket 4 Pro?
It depends on what you need. If you really want the 3x optical zoom and better dynamic range for more cinematic or interview-style work, with a dual camera setup. Either you can wait for Xtra Muse 2 pro, or you can wait for Luna Ultra from Insta360. As per the initial report, we have the Xtramuse 2 PRO uses almost the same hardware configuration as the DJI Pocket 4 PRO, with a slightly different design and position of the display. Other than that, it also supports the DJI ECO System.
And finally, if you’re okay with buying grey market, then the white Pocket 4 Pro is genuinely nice. The color gives it a fresh look that feels different from most other pocket cameras out there.

Here’s a short video showing the white Pocket 4 Pro in person:

So finally, DJI has announced the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P / PRO camera. The camera was officially announced on May 14, 2026, and obviously, based on the design, functionality, and the features of the camera, most of the audience of The New Camera.com already know it has positioned itself as a professional filmmaking/cinematography camera for content creators. Those who want to have a handheld gimbal-style, small, tiny pocket camera with amazing cinematography capability.
Critical update for American readers: As we know that, the standard Osmo Pocket 4 was released in April 2026, the new Osmo Pocket 4P is not expected to launch officially in the United States due to ongoing FCC authorization issues and the broader DJI Covered List restrictions. Despite the fact that we do know it’s not a drone, but yes, official US sales channels (DJI.com, Amazon US, B&H, Adorama, etc.) are highly unlikely to carry it at launch. If Any Update arrives about its arrival in the USA, we will be updating asap.
Why US Availability Is Blocked (Straight Talk for American Creators)
We all know initially it all started with the drone ban, but the situation has gone too far, and after approval by the FCC in late November and December 2025, both the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and DJI Osmo Pocket 4P are not available for now in the United States of America. Some claims have been raised, and it is that the last 10 to 15 products which have been approved by the FCC are now facing issues becoming available in the USA.
So for now, take a look at what we know so far about the availability of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P camera.
US Release Date: No official US launch window
Buy in USA: Gray-market imports possible (e.g., via forwarders from Europe/Asia), but expect no warranty, potential customs delays, and compliance risks
Current Recommendation: Many US creators are sticking with the still-excellent Osmo Pocket 3 or waiting to see if any legal changes occur
If you’re a US-based YouTuber, vlogger, or indie filmmaker searching for “DJI Pocket 4P US release” or “buy Osmo Pocket 4P in America,” this is the reality right now.

What This Means for US Filmmakers & Content Creators
The dual-lens system (wide + flattering 3x telephoto) is a game-changer for portraits, compressed backgrounds, and flexible storytelling — exactly what Hollywood-adjacent and indie creators have wanted. Unfortunately, the FCC situation means most Americans will have to decide between:
Importing at your own risk
Sticking with the Osmo Pocket 3 (still widely available and excellent)
Waiting for any potential policy changes

Just seven days after our exclusive photo shoot leaked on April 27 and was published on our website, we have now received some of the clearest images yet from the creator event that recently took place somewhere in mainland China. It was a warm-up session for influencers and creators to get hands-on experience with the product and create content ahead of its official release.
The new images confirm the vertical dual-camera design that has everyone talking: a 1-inch main sensor paired with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto lens. This is a massive upgrade over the standard Osmo Pocket 4.

Important Launch Timeline Update (May 7 Clarified)
Be aware of the Fake news, Many websites (including PhotoRumors) previously reported a May 7 announcement. That date is now confirmed to be for the DJI Osmo Mobile 8P smartphone gimbal (“Wonders in Your Palm” event).
For the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro, the latest consensus from reliable sources points to:
Announcement → Late May or early June 2026
First availability → China first, followed by global rollout
This staggered release strategy allows DJI to give the standard Pocket 4 its full spotlight before launching the premium dual-lens Pro model.
Will the DJI Pocket 4 PRO become available in the USA?
Yes, but with a twist. We do know that DJI FCC-approved products are also facing a lot of issues, even though they are not drones but only cameras. The pocket 4P (PRO) also cleared the FCC clearance before Dec 25, ban. But, still, we have no certainty over the arrival or sale of the Pocket 4 PRO camera in the USA.
But the best part is, we will be having the Xtra Mse Pro 2 in the United States of America, possibly at the end of May. So, Just hold your purchase and don’t worry about the Pocket 4 availability in USA.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro has released a major new series of images today, featuring an extensive professional photo-style shoot with the new Pocket 4 Pro camera, with many influencers and models, specifically taking place somewhere in mainland China just before its official launch, so as we were expecting the Pocket 4 Pro Professional.
The leak consists of five separate posts (Parts 1–5) and includes approximately 18 high-quality real-world images — by far the largest and most detailed look at the upcoming pocket gimbal camera so far.
What the New Images Show
Several KOLs and female creators are actively filming with the Pocket 4P in beautiful outdoor locations (turquoise lake with mountain backdrop + sunny rocky coastal area).
Testers using lighting tools (including a large reflector/umbrella) for professional-level shooting.
Group shots of multiple people testing the device together in natural sunlight.
Crisp close-up prototype views of the black Pocket 4P unit, clearly showing the “POCKET” branding, folding gimbal, and build details.
Side-by-side size comparisons with the standard Osmo Pocket 4 and Pocket 3.
One intriguing shot also includes an unidentified new DJI drone next to the Pocket series.
These polished “photo shoot” images confirm that DJI is in the advanced testing phase and has already brought in multiple influencers/KOLs for real-world trials.
Expected Specs & Launch Timeline
We have already discussed the possibility of its announcement sometime from May to June 2026. The Pocket 4 Pro is expected to bring major upgrades, including:
1-inch sensor main camera on the right (promising superior low-light performance and dynamic range)
3x telephoto lens on the left (enabling true optical zoom without heavy digital cropping)
Enhanced creative flexibility for portrait/vertical video, interviews, and cinematic shots
Why This Leak Matters
Seeing the Pocket 4P in a full professional photo shoot with multiple creators shows that DJI is treating this as a flagship product. The quality of these images also suggests the camera itself is performing very well in real-world conditions.
We’ll continue tracking every new development. As soon as official specs or a firm launch date drop, you’ll see it here first.

Finally, we have clear videos of the upcoming DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera, so now it’s not a secret anymore, and we have crystal-clear video as well as images of the Pocket 4 Pro, as they have been shared earlier in our articles. The upcoming Pocket 4 Pro camera will have a large 1-inch sensor in the ultra-wide lens, as well as a dedicated 3× optical zoom-based module for capturing distant subjects.
Just hours ago, trusted DJI and Insta360 insider Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) dropped two stunning teaser videos that appear to officially confirm the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P — a bold dual-camera upgrade to the popular Osmo Pocket series.
Insta360 Luna is also in the announcement lineup, but it is still in preparation mode. Meanwhile, DJI has already announced the standard Pocket 4 camera and is now teasing the Pocket 4 Pro — the professional version. This shows the aggressive strategy of DJI to beat its competitor, and it’s a really well-planned strategy. Due to intense market competition, consumers will get enhanced devices from camera makers.
At this moment, we don’t know the exact timing of DJI’s Pocket 4 PRO camera announcements, nor what Insta360 is planning with the Luna. How the market will respond will depend on the price, features, and performance of the camera. But in the end, the real winner is the consumer, since we are getting more and more options at various budgets with enhanced and upgraded hardware and core specifications in handheld pocket gimbal cameras.
Creative Image of DJI Pocket 4 PRO
The leaks arrive at the perfect time, intensifying the upcoming battle with Insta360 Luna, and suggest DJI is pushing boundaries with a true dual-lens pocket gimbal camera featuring a 1-inch main sensor and dedicated 3x telephoto lens — all while maintaining the ultra-compact form factor that made the Osmo Pocket 3 a vlogging favorite.
What the Teaser Videos Reveal About the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P
The first 16-second video kicks off with the iconic white DJI logo and quickly reveals two distinct camera modules side-by-side on the motorized gimbal head:
1-inch sensor main camera on the right (promising superior low-light performance and dynamic range)
3x telephoto lens on the left (enabling true optical zoom without heavy digital cropping)
The modules then elegantly merge into the familiar Osmo Pocket body. The device — clearly labeled OSMO POCKET 4P — rotates under dramatic lighting, showcasing the sleek integration. “OSMO” is embossed on the base, and the video closes with bold text:
Confirmed Key Upgrades Expected in the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P (Pro)
Let’s discuss the confirmed updates. Here, we are getting insights into the Pocket 4 Pro camera, and specifically this time with visuals and images. We can clearly see that we are getting a large 1-inch sensor paired with a 3× optical zoom camera module.
True optical 3x zoom — Switch seamlessly between wide and telephoto without quality loss
Superior low-light performance thanks to the large 1-inch main sensor
Enhanced creative flexibility for portrait/vertical video, interviews, and cinematic shots
Expanded ecosystem control via wireless pairing with the Osmo Mobile 8P and its mini remote
Better portrait/vertical shooting modes and hybrid zoom capabilities
Insta360 Luna
Why the Timing Matters: DJI Osmo Pocket 4P vs Insta360 Luna
These teaser videos are no coincidence. We know this type of teaser is going to hamper the pre-orders or sales of the standard Pocket 4 camera, which was announced recently on April 16, 2026. But DJI is now super aggressive, and they don’t want to lose a single consumer they have built over the past 3 to 4 years in the pocket gimbal camera segment, and that’s why they are leading the competition. They are about to announce the dual-camera setup–based DJI Pocket 4 Pro professional camera just before the Insta360 Luna arrives in the market.
What’s Next for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P?
The videos look like official-grade renders or very early pre-production footage. Full specifications, pricing, and exact release date are still under wraps, but the rapid back-to-back drops from a highly reliable leaker, combined with “coming soon” messaging, point to an imminent announcement — possibly within the next few weeks.
We’ll continue tracking every new leak, rumor, and official update right here.

We now have one of the clearest pictures of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro camera. Before that, we did have several leaks and a lot of pics that have surfaced over the internet in the past two months, but today one of the most trusted DJI leakers, Igor Bogdanov, has shared one of the clearest pics of the front side of the Pocket 4 Pro camera, where we can clearly see the dual camera setup, which does look quite different from what we have seen from the upcoming Insta360 Luna Dual camera setup and not exactly same as DJI Air 3S Drone Gimbal as rumored earlier
What the Latest DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro Leak Reveals
This is not the first time we have seen this dual-camera setup. Back on February 5, 2026, we published a post showing the same setup from an official source, but the image was not that clear at the time. Now, with AI enhancements, it seems clearer and more authentic.
So the latest set of the Pocket 4 Pro is being captured, and alongside the Pro, we have the standard DJI camera, which is about to arrive on March 26. On both sides, we have the iPhone 17 Pro.
It is very clear from the image that the upper camera module of the Pocket 4 Pro is a telephoto camera, and the bottom camera is the wide-angle one. So now we have the idea that we will have perfect lossless video coverage. The price is not yet known, but we expect the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro gimbal to be around 6K.
Rumoured DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro Specs: A Creator’s Dream
Drawing from FCC filings, prototype sightings, and insider leaks, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is rumored to pack flagship features in a sub-200g body. Here’s a breakdown of the expected specs:
1,545mAh battery (20% larger than Pocket 3); fast charging; slimmer profile
These upgrades address key pain points from the Osmo Pocket 3, such as limited zoom and battery life, making the Pro a must-have for YouTubers, influencers, and filmmakers. Early leaks also hint at enhanced modular integration, including remote grips and external lights for low-light vlogs.
DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro Coming to the USA – Confirmed
DJI Pocket 4 Pro is registered/granted FCC certification on December 22, 2025, the standard 180-day short-term confidentiality period (which often applies to exhibits like internal photos, block diagrams, schematics, and user manuals) would end on June 20, 2026 (a Saturday).
This means confidential details could become publicly visible shortly after that date, though DJI might request extensions in some cases. Launches frequently happen before the full 180 days expire, as the basic grant allows sales once approved.
