According to latest rumors Canon is still working on IS version of the ultra popular FF 27-70mm F2.8 kit lens. So, don’t expect the announcement anytime soon. The rumor isn’t new and it’s logical also that the next version of the lens will have Image stabilization inside it since third party lens makers and even competitors are offering 24-70mm IS lenses to Photographers.
The Canon 27-70mm Lens was announced back on February 7, 2012. So it’s almost more than 5 years. and we are not only expecting introduction of Image stabilization system we are also expecting new optical formula for more better performance.

Next Announcement October 25, 2017
The next major product announcement is October 25, 2017, Once again the reputed rumor mill is saying something big is coming on October 25, 2017. Possibly A9S or A7S III ? Now some rookie website shouting that Sony RX100 VI is coming on that date. No one exactly know what coming next.
As I always say we get lot leaked images and specs few week before the announcement of real product, Oct 25 isn’t too far away still we are not sure what next ? it isn’t a good thing from my POV.
What actually should come on Oct 25
If you keep all the rumors aside, And put a logical approach to Sony mirrorless and compacts list. Then you see Sony A7II is almost dead, the current A7II FF camera core specification is obsolete and A7III announcement is the need of situation.

Landscape captured from this camera absolutely look fine, you can see details even when viewed at 100%.
In the next image, its look like photographer has used a auto portrait mode while shooting this portrait, that’s why the skin quality is so soft it’s looks plastic when viewed at 100%.
 being a professional photographer I am not satisfied with the approach or method used with this camera to capture a portrait image, details are completely flat. Details are flat, image look like a smartphone selfie.
