Sony patent three different multilayer stacked CMOS sensor. They are testing different models of sensor with organic material and silicon. And the last sensor design somehow look similar to Foveon sensors, it composed of colored filters including organic and silicon layers. Take a look at the images and details below

As the announcement date is coming to closer more and more details about the Canon G1X Mark III camera is being revealed.
According to the trusted sources of veteran rumor mill, the upcoming g1x Mark III camera is actually a EOS M5 fused with fixed lens.
The Canon EOS M5 camera uses 24 megapixel CMOS DPAF autofocusing sensor. If the rumor is correct then we will going to witness a completely new compact camera with extraordinary image quality.
The camera will have 24 MP APS-C DPAF sensor powered by DIGIC 7 processor. Rest of the specification is still unknown.
The camera is rumored to arrive in Mid-October 2017.

Finally we are getting Fuji X100F Competitor ? The X100F camera features fixed lens X-Trans sensor whereas the upcoming G1X Mark III will have Canon’s best DPAF APS-C sensor + Variable Zoom lens. Both camera features Hybrid sensors, Undoubtedly the G1X Mark III will be preferred due to zoom lens.

We’re already hearing the first rumors about Sony’s next ultra compact 1″ RX100 VI camera. Based on information coming from Nomen Nescio, the RX100 VI Become Available Right Before Christmas of 2017. Sony announced new firmware update for its flagship mirrorless camera Sony A9. this is firmware update improves the overall image quality as well as the stability of the entire camera.
List of improvements coming with this firmware update is mentioned below
- Supports “Eye AF” function for A-mount lenses via the LA-EA3 mount adapter *1
- Fixes an issue where RAW files may disappear when SDXC or microSDXC memory cards are used in certain smartphones *2

The information we have till now is Sony A7III announcement is next. We also have the Codename of the unannounced camera – WW 940439. As the information we have received a while ago the upcoming camera will be a mini version of Sony A9 camera having the same sensor as of Sony A9.
Now rumor mills also suggest a surprise announcement is also due. We don’t know at its a Compact or Mirrorless but keep in mind that other then A7III camera is also coming.

According to latest rumors Canon “prosumer” Mirrorless camera is out for testing. Latest reports coming from veteran rumor mils says Several prototypes of pro fullframe mirrorless camera passed around internally.
We don’t have the specification yet, we will update you soon as we get any. Also look at the Canon Fullframe Mirroless patent. Not, only that Canon G1X Mk III announcement is expected next month and do you know that Canon is also working in Cinema DSLR series.
But Canon moving in it’s own speed and we can expect FF Mirrorless announcement on Q3 / Q4 of 2018.
