we have done this specification comparison review based on our user request, Now take a look at the image analysis below…
ISO 12800 – AT ISO 12800 Sony image is slightly bigger due to the higher resolution fullframe sensor, I can clearly notice at 12800 Nikon is showing bit more details … compared to the Sony A7 II… It’s look like Sony is using stron noise reduction filter compared to Nikon DF.

ISO 25600 – AT ISO 25600 the Nikon DF camera is showing bit more details and better color output compared to A7 II.
Despite of being old, the Nikon DF is undoubtedly have better image quality compared to Sony A7 II , hence we highly recommend you to buy the Nikon DF camera is you care about image quality.

We already published this news July 30th, 2014 that Sigma CEO said they will use DP2 Quattro camera in upcoming Sigma SD2 camera..
Now today Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki again said that Sigma is planning to use the Foveon X3 Quattro Direct sensor of the DP2 Quattro camera in upcoming SD series camera..
First, we started with the sensor development. We had already been discussing what kind of sensor we make with the Foveon, Inc. and we as SIGMA wanted to improve image quality (resolution) by increasing the number of pixels. The Quattro image sensor was born to deal with the increased data. As the first camera to have the new sensor, we chose the dp because of the shockless body and the dedicated lens optimized for the ultra high-resolution capturing. Of course, we’re planning to use the sensor for the SLR SD body.
The first sigma SD1 DSLR was announced on 2012 and it was using the the same sensor of Sigma ‘Merrill’ camera, Sigma SD1 was announced at Photokina 2010.
I was actually hoping for something more better from Sigma for the upcoming SD2 series camera, share your thoughts with us in the comment box…

According to latest rumors the upcoming Pentax Fullframe camera will use Sony 36 MP sensor used in Sony A7R camera, the camera will also feature pixel-shift technology resolution tech, this technology was first used in K-3 II camera to generate high resolution images.
Pixel shift technology actually works with the help of sensor shift IS mechanism, the camera moves its sensor to capture 4 different images and finally it create a composite image, you get a super high resolution file with excellent color output and low-light performance.
We will update you soon as we bet any new information.

Sony manged to develop a new type of camera sensor for smartphones, the sensor will feature 12 Megapixel resolution and it’s called the new RGBW sensor… here W stands for the white pixels.. the white pixel here increase the sensitivity of the camera upto a great extent as you can see in the sample image below.
Now the individual pixels of the RGBW Sony sensor is 1.12μm, but due to the newly developed “RBGW Coding” the SN ratio (signal-to-noise ratio) equivalent to that of a unit pixel size of 1.4μm under conventional methods. We also hope that the same technology will be applied to APS-C and FF interchangeable lens camera in near future.
