So, we have a total of two new Nikon cameras in the announcement pipeline, roughly camera makers take 3 to 4 months to announce a camera once it gets registered in a wireless certification agency. So, most probably we will have a major Nikon announcement in the month of August / Sep 2022.

Yes, there is a strong possibility that we may see Nikon full-frame cameras even more affordable than Nikon Z5 (possibly Nikon Z4, although we don’t have any confirmation about the name yet). We have spotted a Compact Mirrorless camera design without EVF with a minimal physical interface. Nikon has removed EVF in the Compact Fullframe Mirrorless Camera body to reduce the production cost as much as possible.
Although Nikon will never release such a camera in the market without the absence of a proper competitor since if such a camera arrives it will cannibalize the Nikon Z5 and Nikon ZFC camera sales to a much extent.

We saw Nikon Z5, the most affordable full-frame camera by Nikon. But, the recent patent design leaks show Nikon’s compact Mirrorless body with a full-frame sensor, very little manual control, and without a viewfinder to save the manufacturing cost.
As you can see the camera has very little control, a display on top, and no viewfinder.
In general, a patent takes two to three years of time to become a real product. Say tuned, we will post more updates soon.
