Yongnuo YN433 micro four-thirds Professional Live camera

Yongnuo announced a new M4/3 format camera in China, the YN433. This compact camera is specifically designed for live streaming. It features a 20-megapixel M4/3 format sensor, 6GB of internal RAM, and 128GB of ROM.

As mentioned, the camera is specifically made for live streaming and can shoot up to 4K videos using the UVC protocol, USB 3.0 & HDMI interface available. 2K and full HD options are also available.

Unfortunately, there is no information related to the autofocus system of the camera. We expect that there may not be an autofocus system inside this camera, so you would have to operate the lenses manually. The price should be under $600.

Leica S3 Medium Format Discontinued

The Leica S3 medium format camera has been discontinued by Leica. The announcement was made by Map Camera on Twitter that the production of the S3 has officially ended.

The Leica S3 camera was announced back on March 6, 2020. The S3 Camera used a 64-megapixel medium format sensor with a Maestro II image processor and was able to record DCI 4K and full HD video internally. Although the camera was based on a DSLR design, it featured an optical pentaprism viewfinder.

According to the latest rumors, Leica will announce its new medium format series camera, but not so soon. For that, we have to wait until for year or two. So, in 2025 or maybe in 2024, Leica may introduce a new range of medium format mirrorless cameras in the market with Sony’s latest medium format sensors.

Sony ZV-E100 or FX-10: Sony's NEXT 26Mp APS-C Camera Coming

We have one more camera in the announcement pipeline other than Sony A6700, but at the moment we don’t know if it will be called the Sony ZV-E100 or FX 10. However, but for sure not only is Sony A6700 getting Sony’s 26MP sensor, we do have one more active camera which is said to arrive one or before Q1 of 2024.

The camera will feature the same 26-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor that we have seen inside the Sony A6700 camera and Sony FX30. The camera’s top resolution is 4K at 60 frames per second, and full HD recording is available at 240 frames per second.

The camera has a very compact body design without an electronic viewfinder and a thin hand grip, which looks more similar to Sony’s ZV-E10 camera rather than the Sony A6700. The camera also has the latest AI processor being used inside the A6700 camera.

Electronic image stabilization for video is enhanced, and mechanical image stabilization for photos and video is available. It’s a trimmed-down version of the Sony A6700 camera made for content creators.

As you know Nikon Z8 is impressive and features almost the same core specification we have in Nikon Z9.

Nikon’s latest mirrorless camera is equipped with the same stacked 45-megapixel image sensor and EXPEED 7 processor as the Z9. It supports high-speed continuous shooting at 20fps RAW, despite the fact that it has almost the same core specs as the Nikon Z9.

BREAKING NEWS: Get Ready for Fuji’s Next Big Thing

Fujifilm’s unpublished product with model code FF 230002 has been registered at a wireless certification agency in January 2023. We are expecting this to be Fuji’s GFX series Medium format camera, possibly the overdue 50R successor, the 50R Mark II.

As we mentioned in one of our previous posts, the Fuji GFX 50S Mark II is almost a year old and the 50R needs to be updated. The other option is GFX 100 successor, the GFX 100 II camera. which is also quite possible. Since we have two models registered and unannounced. One is FF230001 and the other one is FF230002.

Sony A6700 vs Fuji X-S20

Okay, let’s do a specification comparison between the Fuji X-S20 camera and the Sony A6700 camera. We know that the Sony A6700 camera is rumored to be coming on July 12th along with a new 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. Once the camera arrives, we will update the specifications with as many details as possible, but for now let’s do it with the set of information available to us.

So with the set of the available basic information we have related to the Sony A6700 camera, we are going to compare it to the Fuji X-S20 camera in a specification comparison table

You can clearly see that the Fuji X-S20 camera’s video recording capabilities include 6K recording up to 30 frames per second and 5.2K video recording in 16:9 format which surpasses the video specs of the A6700 camera.

The biggest advantage we will have in the upcoming Sony A6700 camera is the dedicated AI chip that we have seen inside the Sony ZV-E1 full-frame mirrorless camera that was announced a while ago. With the help of new AI chips, we will see a very enhanced autofocus mechanism inside this camera. Other than that, we have a higher resolution 3.69 million dots electronic viewfinder from Sony.

Although we are not able to grab all the details of the burst speed of the camera, we are expecting that it will remain limited to 10 frames per second since higher-end Sony models like the Sony A7 IV and Sony A7R V are also limited to this speed.

All these are the initial set of specs available to us that we have compared in the table above. We do expect and hope that the camera will arrive with an enhanced set of cool specifications and an affordable price tag to truly compete against the X-S20 camera. If it fails to have an affordable price tag or the video specs that we have seen in the X-S20 camera right now, then for sure Sony will lose a big marketplace.
