Sensor: The sensor size and resolution is same, however if we believe in press release and Canon USA website the sensor used inside Canon 7D Mark II is  the new one with new one, not same as of Canon 70D DSLR.

Image processor: The Dual Digic 6 processor used inside Canon 7D Mark II gives you camera power to shoot 10 frames per second with at full resolution on the other hand Canon 70D is limited to

ISO range: The Canon 7D Mark II offers ISO range of 51200, Canon 70D is limited to 25600. Due to more ISO range we will sure get better low light performance from Canon 7D Mk 2 DSLR.

AF system: The camera uses newly developed AF module that features 65 all cross-type AF points Canon 70D is limited to 19 AF points only.

The Canon 70D offers built in WiFi connectivity and bit better battery life.

Verdict: Based on specification comparison review Canon 7D mark II is a clear winner when compared to Canon 70D, the 7D Mk 2 comes with better sensor, advance AF system and more ISO range.

Fuji X-Pro2 Camera Rumor Update

Fuji-X-Pro-2-Coming-SoonNow finally photokina is over and but unfortunately we haven’t seen any innovative product from Fujifilm this year, during an interview by admiringlight Torben Hondong of fujifilm said the following words

Finally, I asked Mr. Hondong about any news on the long-awaited replacement for the X-Pro 1.

Mr. Hondong said that it was difficult. Shooters of the X-Pro 1 desire the hybrid optical finder, and they are thinking of ways to bring something like the EVF of the X-T1 into a hybrid finder, but that this proves challenging to fit into a body that people expect. To be clear, he wasn’t confirming that an X-T1 sized finder would be in an X-Pro 2, but that the fact that the X-T1 exists makes designing the new finder challenging due to expectations. He mentioned the X100s and T improving on the hybrid finder of the X100, and that Fuji would see how the response to the X100T was to consider the options for any potential X-Pro replacement.

I was also hoping to hear few words about the sensor tech they are developing,.. BTW we will update you soon as we get any new information.

Canon Megapixel Monster Coming Next Month

Canon-5D-Mk-4

According to latest rumors Canon may announce a new high-end DSLR next month, the resolution will be 46 Megapixel and price is expected to be around $8000-$9000 USD.

A bit analysis …

At this moment we don’t know its specification but a but if we grab 46 Megapixel from a  single layer fullframe sensor than we will sure get a limited ISO performance, possibly ranging form 50-6400/12800. We do hope this time Canon should implement a multilayer sensor to avoid poor / limited performance during low-light condition, also take a look — we have already seen the Canon Patent Five Layer Sensor, and also a Three-Layer sensor from Canon,

Other part is image processor and AF system for a $8K-9k body, Canon will sure implement Dual Digic 6 image processor and 61-Point High Density Reticular AF system (same as of 1DX) or better than that in the upcoming DSLR.

Earlier predictions and expectations

Press Release

Hasselblad is set to showcase prototypes of its brand new H5D-50c Wi-Fi medium format camera at photokina (Hall 02.1: Stands A021 – B020)

The new model – a feature-rich upgrade to the H5D-50c CMOS unit launched earlier this year – provides photographers with more freedom than ever before, thanks to an innovative Wi-Fi module.

The H5D-50c with Wi-Fi makes it possible for users to fully control the camera and browse/view images on iPhone/iPad on location via Phocus Mobile software, without the need for a computer. It also features a ‘Live View’ function, allowing photographers to see and zoom in on a live image on the rear LCD even when the camera is untethered.

The new model will be available first in Europe at the end of November and will retail at €21,400 excl. tax.

Michele Channer, Hasselblad International Sales Director said: “When we launched the new H5D-50c CMOS camera earlier this year we promised photographers ultimate image quality, regardless of lighting conditions. • Spirit level: Employ the built-in electronic spirit level even in tethered mode.
  • Display modes: Select different display modes even when the camera is tethered.
  • ISO and White Balance: Settings now available on viewfinder display.

Between January and March 2015 Hasselblad is offering photographers the opportunity to upgrade their H5D-50c model for the new Wi-Fi version for €500.
