Canon announced a perfect camera for those who are stepping into cinematography. Yes, Panasonic finally announces 5.7K Super 35 format cinema camera. As we have mentioned you earlier the camera sits between the Panasonic GH5 and VariCam LT. The model name of this camera is AU-EVA1. The camera light weight and made for handheld shooting.
The sensor used in the camera features a super 35mm sensor with Canon EF Mount support.
One of the major feature is Dual ISO mode of the camera, that enables you to capture videos with grater dynamic range.
“On the VariCams, dual native ISO has allowed cinematographers to use less light on set, saving time and money, as well as allowing for a great variety of artistic choices. The EVA1 will include dual native ISO, but the camera is currently being tested to determine final ISO specifications,” added Nela Pertl.
Like the VariCam lineup of cinema cameras, the EVA1 contains V-Log/V-Gamut capture to deliver high dynamic range and broad colours.
EVA1 can be used for efficient handheld shooting applications and can also be mounted on a drone, gimbal rig, or jib arm for complex yet smooth camera moves.
The EVA1 will ship this autumn for under €8,000 (body only).

According to latest rumors Panasonic is working on new firmware update. The firmware update will allow the GH5 camera to capture 20 frames per second in RAW mode.
If the rumor is true then it will become a true competitor of Sony A9 camera for sure.
