In an recent interview published at dpreview website, Tamron executive confirmed that they are ready for Canon and Nikon Mirrorless both, take a look what Tamron said
How important is the Sony customer base to you now?
Very important. Everybody is going to mirrorless. Canon and Nikon will launch full-frame mirrorless cameras, probably in the near future. When this happens, we can easily make Canon and Nikon versions of our [native] E-mount lenses. The same design could work for [multiple mirrorless mounts].
We have already seen the registration code of Canon Mirrolress camera. And one of the best thing is one of the leading lens makers is also ready for Nikon Mirrorless system.
We will update you soon as we get any new information.

Nikon is working to improve the mirror flip up speed. As we all know that DSLR uses flip-up mirror mechanism while capturing images burst shots, but somehow the speed of the overall system needs to be improved to compete against Canon DSLRs and Sony FF Mirrorles series.
One more thing before we begain, let me tell you that the patents are published in Japanese language and we read them after machine translation, so it might happen that we miss some details..

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rotating mirror quickly halt at an advancement position.SOLUTION: A mirror unit includes: a mirror member that is supported rotatably between an advancement position and a retreat position; a drive lever that drives the mirror member; an urging member that is provided in the drive lever, urges the mirror member toward the advancement position, and sandwichedly holding a part of the mirror member between the driving lever and the urging member to thereby drive the mirror member to the advancement position together with the driving lever; and a cam member that has a cam surface pressing the drive lever, and causes a generation of drive force making the mirror member rotate from the advancement position to the retreat position in the drive lever. The cam surface has a profile in which the drive lever is spaced apart from the cam member during a period until the mirror member moves from the retreat position to the advancement position and when the mirror member urged by the urging member abuts on the drive lever.

Nikon is moving forward with a 100MP sensor design. In an interview they have confirmed the Nikon is working on a Fullframe sensor with massive 100 MP resolution.
During the same interview taken by French website Focus Numerique Nikon also talked about Fullframe Mirrorless camera, Built in sensor based IS system and more. Take a look
1. Nikon on a possible 100 MP full frame sensor – it’s possible once we solve diffraction and other issues:
It will be possible! Diffraction is governed by physical laws and this phenomenon can not be eliminated only with optical technologies. We consider that on this point, a numerical correction is effective. What is very important for Nikon is that the use of digital corrections is not governed by technical constraints on a goal, but only to mitigate phenomena that we can not optically avoid.
2. Nikon on a possible full frame mirrorless camera with Nikon F-mount vs. using adapters:
Nikon launched the F mount 60 years ago. We have already sold 100 million goals. We have massive users who are already using our F mount lenses. Think of them. Nikon lens enthusiasts are very precious to us. In any case, it is difficult to answer your question clearly.
3. Nikon on sensor stabilization (IBIS):
Nikon currently only uses optical stabilization. One of the problems of sensor stabilization, the sensor may no longer be exactly on the image plane of the camera and the image can lose precision. As we explained, we are not deploying new technology without being certain of its reliability and usefulness. Please wait, because we are developing this technology that will be used in the years to come.
4. Nikon on innovation:
We are not the first to launch a new technology. What is important to us is that our technologies are reliable and bring real added value to our users. For example, technologies such as Nano Crystal processing, PF lenses and optical stabilization are developed through our discussions with users.

We already have Nikon BSI CMOS sensor patents, with dual pixel CMOS AF technology. Today we have spotted a new sensor patent. The new patent surfaced today suggest that Nikon is working on a Multilayer Stacked BSI CMOS sensor. Type of Sensor that we have already seen inside the Sony A9 camera.

Patent No – No. 6048482 (P6048482) click here
Registration date – December 2, 2016.12.2
Publication date – December 21st, Heisei 28 (2016.12.21)
Image Omitted – Structure of sensor No. 11 is a first layer chip with PD, and No. 12 is a stacked secondary layer chip with memory and A / D converter. Both layers are connected with micro – bumps shown as No. 15.
Nikon do make their sensor but they are very limited, there they are limited FSI Technology. On the other hand Nikon D850 uses 45MP BSI CMOS sensor from Sony. We do hope in the next few years we will sure see Mutlilayer Stacked BSI sensors from Nikon.
