 Finally the day has arrived when the camera testing lab finally announced its own camera, the DXO one camera is actually a extension of camera module, as you can see in the images the camera is very tiny and features a 1″ sensor inside, the external unit will sure uplift the smartphone photography to next level,
Let’s talk about the major specification of the recently announced camera, the camera features Sony made 1″ CMOS sensor (possibly same as the RX100 M3 camera), the fixed lens features 1.8 aperture and the price us approx $599.
The camera is already tested in the DXO Mark Lab before its announcement according to the DXO Lab press document, the camera had scored upto 85 when using the SuperRAW™ technology, its overall score even crossed some of the existing DSLR camera.,

That clearly show the Sony A7R II camera was intentionally built to make a space among Canon users, I appreciate this strategy and I also hope Samsung should follow the same path with its upcoming mirrorless camera’s.

We have already published the Ricoh GR II leaked image few days ago and also told you that camera is expected to arrive this month, now it’s major set of specification surfaced today, the sensor will feature better low-light performance compared to its predecessor however the leaked specification doesn’t give any details about the resolution or ISO range of the camera…
Take a look at the leaked specification (written in Bold Text) and its detailed analysis below…
The Lens is same as as its predecessor, the camera features fixed focal length lens with a 35mm equivalency, the lens is built with Two aspherical lens elements that minimize aberrations for sharpness.
The image processor is also same as of its predecessor, so we don’t have hope for any significant change in the Auto-focus performance and continuous shooting speed of the camera.
- Improved auto white balance
- Improved high sensitivity noise
Let’s hope for the best that the upcoming camera will have significant improvement in the image quality compared to its predecessor.
