So finally, we have some fresh updates related to the DJI Neo 2; an official DJI Neo 2 teaser has been posted by DJI itself. It’s really interesting to see that the DJI Neo 2 is coming almost exactly on the same time frame that we have discussed in our previous post. We have started covering the DJI Neo 2, beginning with its FCC filings, followed by the specification sheet, price, and expected arrival timeframe of the drone. We have discussed everything in detail, including the information we had published just before that, all of which pointed towards a mid-November announcement. The DJI Neo series is evolving into a bolder FPV cinewhoop for content creators. And the Neo 2 will surely bring some major updates
DJI NEO 2 Official Teaser: it’s official now
Finally, we have an official update from DJI, China, and the teaser image. You can see this in the teaser above. They are so close. One of the propellers of the DJI Neo drone and the date is very clearly mentioned, October 30, 2025, so now it has become official that the DJI Neo 2 is coming on October 30, 2025
So in this article below, we have also covered a day just before the teaser was posted by the DJI China, which was already leaked by the veteran leaker Quadro News, and after that we are discussing the set of specifications which is almost confirmed and coming along with the DJI Neo 2 as well as the price of the drone, so let’s dive into the deep analysis of the Neo 2 drone
What Is the DJI Neo 2? A Quick Evo Primer
Originally, the DJI Neo was announced back in late 2024. The DJI NEO series was made for entry-level users, targeting beginners, and it was so easy to operate, you can start with palm-launch, features like active tracking in the new follow you wherever you go. The new was so easy to handle that you can operate it with gestures and some of the minimal buttons on the body of the drone itself. The weight was 135 g only. So you are completely free to register your drones with the FAA, so more or less, the Neos is a specifically one of the best series to begin with. If you are interested in drones. So, that was a little introduction about the actual NEO, now its time for the latest updates we have related to the DJI Neo 2. Let’s dive into the details
Later on, the replies are flooded with “NEO 2” shouts (including ours!), and he (Quadro_News) even jumps in to clarify “No Pro…Only Neo 2” when someone speculates on a Pro variant. That’s his classic style to tell the things without opening up the beanbags, but its confirmed now the NEO 2 announcement is around the corner.
As we have said, the announcement date of the NEO 2 drone somehow aligns with our mid-November prediction from dealer forecasts and FCC timelines (ID: SS3-DEN225, greenlit July 25, 2025). Why so? Since we do know that DJI does follow a pattern? After registering the product in the wireless certification agencies, or better to say after registering it on the FCCID, the DJI usually takes approx 112-115 days to announce the product on average, and as usual the on January 15, 2026 FCCID will lift the embargo, and all the external test images as well as internal images of the drone will become public. This timing is also best since we are getting into Black Friday Zone, if they add some discount over the announcement price, for sure it will become a big hit. The pre-orders are expected to start on November 10.

DJI Pocket series and specifically the Pocket 3 camera is a popular pocket gimbal camera tool among content creators and vloggers worldwide; in fact, it is one of the most popular video cameras in Japan. We are covering up the upcoming news Pocket 4 extensively, from early specifications and leaks to dual-lens-based prototypes. You can find out all the latest updates on our website thenewcamera.com. We really get excited when we hear any new information related to the Pocket 4 series camera.
Today, we’re diving into the latest leak: A fresh leaked images surfaced on the web, and according to the source, the picture is coming straight out from a promotional video shoot in Barcelona. The image you see below is a screenshot of a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video. The image is really one of the clearest pics of the Pocket 4 prototype and also hints at some refinements in the design and overall layout of the camera, as you can notice the button control layout has been changed slighly
While DJI itself remains tight-lipped—no official announcement or teaser has dropped — combining the latest leaks, corroborated by NDA documents and insider posts, we can paint a larger picture of a device with its set of features, which includes redefining portable 8K video. Let’s break it down all the information in detail, source by source, with a focus on the Barcelona angle that’s got netizens buzzing.
Unpacking the Watermark: A Glimpse from Zhang Zhenhua Photography Studio
While looking at the details, for more authenticity and getting into the public records, we found a very small set of information related to the studio. Again, we have done a deep search across Baidu, Weibo, and global directories to find our traces of the newly leaked image; it turns up NO visible official DJI ties or even a basic website for this outfit. The phone number (961195200) points to a Chinese mobile line, suggesting a freelance photographer or small production team possibly contracted for scouting or early promo footage. Well, you may have noticed that this overall activity fits DJI’s playbook; they often take the help of low-key pros to create their promo content:
DJI pocket 4 prototype vs DJI Pocket 3
The Barcelona Shoot Rumour
The juiciest tidbit? According to the camerabeta webio, Whispers of a PK4 promo shoot were spotted by netizens in Barcelona. If we do believe the camerabeta leaked image, the pocket 4 is coming with some slight design change in control layout compared to the pocket 3. it could be DJI road-testing stabilisation for sunny, windy vlogs – As we do know Pocket series or DJI is Chinese brand. So sighting of their pre-released gears isn’t an unusual thing, — maybe a staple in their marketing playbook.
DJI Pocket 4 Specs: What the Broader Leaks Tell Us
Our previous breakdowns of Pocket 4 camera rumors, these new images do look somehow similar to what we have seen in the past. align seamlessly with leaks dating back to August 2025.
The dual-camera prototype (August 31, 2025 post): We have clearly shown you the type of design prototypes have; the Dual-Camera setup consists of asymmetrical lenses and sensor modules, a Combo of Lidar and Image Sensor.
Rumoured specs (August 31, 2025) included 8K capabilities and a ~190g weight – but this document’s 116g figure indicates a slimmer base model, possibly with Pro variants adding bulk.
With DJI being a bit busy in clearing Pocket 3 inventory and facing U.S. tariffs, this NDA-teased document is a clear signal announcement is expected soon. Recently, a Chinese source also suggested the same, that DJI is currently clearing up the stocks to make space for Pocket 4. (we have already mentioned this in our previous post)
Stay tuned for more updates

The Insta 360 X4 Air is a lightweight budget 360 camera; even though it’s a beginner camera, it does have a swappable battery system like the Insta 360 X4, but it has 70% less weight with a built-in battery that allows you to record 8K videos up to 1 hour and 30 minutes, for a total runtime. The Insta 360 X4 Air has a tagline of – “Pack light, shoot 8K” – delivering flagship-level performance in a Budget body that’s primed for vlogs, and on-the-go adventures. In this article, we will cover in detail the Insta360 X4 Air: from its detailed set of core specifications, as well as its pricing, to how it stacks up against the original X4 (Specs comparison between both cameras). Stay ahead of the curve – the worldwide launch is set for October 28, 2025.
What Is the Insta360 X4 Air? A Quick Overview
The Insta360 X4 Air is a next-gen 360° camera, specifically designed for beginners looking for a budget 8 K 360 camera, offering maximum portability and creative freedom. The X4 air isn’t similar in terms of core specification compared to the original (OG) X4 camera. The Insta360 X4 Air prioritizes portability and budget, but at the same time, despite being tagged as an entry-level or beginner’s 360 Camera, it does record HQ 8K videos. As we mentioned at the beginning, this is ideal for users who prioritise lightness over modularity. At just 165g and with dimensions of 46 x 113.8 x 37 mm, it’s about 70% smaller than its predecessor, perfect for mounting on drones or clipping to everyday gear.
Specification-wise, in the Insta360 X4 Air, we have dual 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensors to capture 8K 360° video, Insta360’s popular FlowState stabilisation for buttery-smooth footage, and the signature Invisible Selfie Stick effect for impossible angles. On the other hand, despite having a lightweight body, the X4 AIr is it gains in robustness with reinforced waterproofing up to 15 meters, compared to 10m for the X4.

If ur looking for a versatile tool, then for sure Insta 360 is an excellent choice for creating 8k videos, but what are the major differences between the Insta360 X4 Air and the OG , lets find out, starting from the sensor size, the X4 Air has slightly smaller sensor size (compared to the X4’s 1/1.2-inch), but despite of that, it still delivers sharp 8K output with low-light tweaks via software.
Insta360 X4 Air vs. Insta360 X4: Key Differences
Form factor, portability, budget vs video quality, which one do you prefer more? Here’s a side-by-side comparison to help you decide:
Size & Weight: The Insta360 X4 Air is 70% more compact compared to the X4 (OG) (165g vs. X4’s ~203g)
Sensor Size: 1/1.8-inch on Air vs. larger 1/1.2-inch on X4 – expect slightly better low-light on the original at low-light and night shoot, for sunny day shoot, both sensors are highly usable
Battery: The Lightweight X4 Air’s built-in 2010mAh lasts 90 minutes (best for shorter city-to-city ride/street vlogs capture) (swappable for sleeker profile); X4 offers longer runtime (~135 minutes) with hot-swappable batteries (wth X4 original, you have to just swap batteries after 135 min and continue recording).
Durability: Both handle splashes, but X4 edges out with 10m waterproofing (Air is splash-only without a case).
Price: Air starts lower (~$350 launch price est. vs. X4’s $500 launch price), targeting budget-conscious users.
Shared Strengths: 8K 360° video, FlowState gimbal-like stabilisation, and Invisible Selfie Stick on both.
If you’re upgrading from an X3 or older, the Insta360 X4 Air’s refinements make it a no-brainer for lightweight shoots and also come in budget. For professional style, longer hours of shooting get the X4 and X5
Pricing and Availability: When Can You Get the Insta360 X4 Air?
Excitement is building, but patience is key:
Launch Date: Insta X4 Air Official announcement date October 28, 2025 – worldwide rollout, excluding Canada and the US initially (those markets follow shortly after).
Pricing:
~$350 launch price est (USA)
Base Model: €399.99 (~$350 USD estimated).
Starter Pack (with additional accessories, including mounts): €429.99.
Where to Buy: Pre-orders to pop up on Insta360’s official site and retailers like Amazon and B&H Photo soon after announcement.
Insta360 X4 Air is a perfect balance of price and features. If ur looking for a budget and lightweight 360 camera, then for X4 Air can be a perfect choice for you. Since the 8K 360° becomes the gold standard for VR and social media, it’s an awesome tool to start your 360 vlog journey.

According to the latest information, Insta 360 Ace Pro 2, Lens guard will have a cosmetic redesign and will be announced soon. We have been holding this for more than a week, just to get the Final image of the camera with the new lens guard. It does have a minor tweak in the lens guard design section; other than that, the internal specification will remain the same. A new series of Ace Pro 2 will now arrive with the cometically updated lens guard, upgrading the overall look of the Ace Pro 2 action camera. Hence, if you are an existing owner of the Ace Pro 2 Camera, then no need for an update. Just keep your Ace Pro 2 until the Ace Pro 3 comes out, so you are an existing owner of the Ace Pro to Camera, then no need for an updated camera for now.
Update #2: The latest firmware update includes a Lens Master category with the naming of a filter they don’t sell, the Black Mist Filter. Don’t get confused with the mist filter here; we are talking about Black Mist Filter, which is also available via third-party sellers. So, not only a cosmetic update over the guard design, but a new series of Ace Pro 2 will have more lens filter options soon.
Key Updates in the Insta360 Ace Pro 2
Just before the lens guard cosmetic update, Insta360 Ace Pro 2 has received a refreshed variant of the Arctic White Limited Edition, which was introduced back in September 2025. This edition also features exactly the same core specification as we have seen in the OG original Ace Pro 2, which includes 8K sensor resolution and high-grade co-engineering with Leica, powered by dual AI chips. With the help of the AI chip, the Ace Pro 2 can capture clear night shots with the help of the latest image and video processing AI algorithms. On the rear side, we also have a 2.5 Inch tilting display screen, highly useful for creating vlogs on the go for solo content creators, and waterproofing up to 12 meters (39 feet). All these specifications look very impressive even at the end of 2025, and I don’t think so, for now we need a major update in the core specification of the camera.
Notable aspects of this update include:
Lens Guard Enhancements: The design incorporates a more durable round lens guard to minimise issues like gasket loss and prevent fog in the camera, an cosmtaic update not only to upscale the look but also to upscale the user experience of the existing camera.
Accessory Integration: While most gear remains compatible, some older filters or caps may need minor adjustments, such as custom 3D-printed solutions, to fit perfectly.
Firmware Additions: Recent updates introduce a “Lens Master” section with advanced filter options, hinting at future accessory expansions not yet available from Insta360.
The Rationale Behind the Refresh: Patents and Competition
The timing of this Ace Pro 2 cosmetic update may be linked to broader strategic moves. Insta360 has navigated patent challenges with competitors like GoPro in the past, particularly around stabilisation technologies, many of which have been resolved in their favour. The shift to a rounded lens design will make them distinguish it from rivals, and so reduce the risk of potential legal overlaps.
Insta360 Ace Pro 3: Arrival Date
We have recently got an arctic white series update for Ace Pro 2, and this month, in October, we have a facelift edition, although these are not major updates, minor tweaks, but that also indicates for now, Insta360 is still busy upscaling its Ace Pro 2 camera. AT the very same time, the camera can record 8K resolution and can compete against the latest glaship action cameras.
Now Hero 14 announcement is overdue, and the DJI Action 6 is rumoured to arrive this month. And after these major updates, we do believe Insta Ace Pro 3 will make its entry in the battlefield, and this is a common practice between the brands to stay ahead in the competition by tweaking their camera specs by scrutinising competitor specs and releasing their final versions to lead the market.
Speculation around the Insta360 Ace Pro 3 centres on a late 2025 debut, potentially it’s delayed for now
Drawing from release patterns:
Ace Pro: Late 2023
Ace Pro 2: 2024
Ace Pro 3: Expected late 2025, or early 2026
Stay tuned, we will post an update as soon as we get any

We now have the High-resolution images of the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 retail box that have surfaced online, which give us the clearest look yet at the official packaging design. Shared by the most trusted sources via a viral X post @Quadro_News, to be very clear, these photos not only showcase the sleek box aesthetics but also capture the device in a real-world retail setting in a retail shop. — hinting that a November 2025 launch might be closer than we think.
Unboxing the Leak: A Close-Up on the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Packaging Design
The leaked images we have give a very clear view of the OSMO 8 Gimbal, the branding, and the product is ready to adapt to smartphones. The details are about to be revealed. ` Measuring approximately the size of a standard smartphone accessory package (around 12x6x4 inches based on visual scale), as we can see the box sports DJI’s signature minimalist white exterior with bold black accents, and it looks 100% authentic and gives aesthetic vibes.
Front Panel Highlights
Prominent Global Branding: The package itself declares global market readiness. As we can notice, the front of the box print shows (top section) “DJI Osmo Mobile 8” in large, metallic lettering, flanked by the iconic DJI logo. Below it, the tagline “Smartphone Stabiliser” is repeated in English, Simplified Chinese (智能手机稳定器), and French (Stabilisateur pour smartphone), and that gives us a clear signal of global market readiness.
Hero Imagery: A vibrant, high-res OSMO 8 Image is at the centre: The black Osmo Mobile 8 gimbal is attached with a smartphone (resembling an iPhone 16 or similar), And if you closely notice, the video which is being displayed in the phone is of capturing a dynamic beach volleyball scene with a yellow-shirted athlete mid-jump. The footage itself explains the OMSO 8 dynamics, which are known for stabilisation to perfection and subject tracking on the go.
This front-facing design isn’t just eye candy; it’s optimized for shelf appeal in electronics stores, drawing in impulse buyers with its aspirational lifestyle vibe. Compared to the Osmo Mobile 7’s more subdued box, this feels more cinematic, aligning with DJI’s push toward pro-level vlogging.

This sub-250g powerhouse allows 8K reframing. The A1 drone from the Insta360 Antigravity brand is made for both beginners and professionals. Now it’s time to break down its features, weigh the pros and cons, and share insights from top reviewers. Let’s dive into the details
Introduction: Why the Antigravity A1 Stands Out in the Drone World
We have already seen a lot of drones from DJI, all of them are great, but none of them can capture everything in stunning 8K 360 degrees. The A1 weighs just 249g, no need for FAA registration, + geo-fencing helps to create content without worrying about entering in no-fly zone.
Priced around $1,300–$1,700 for the full kit (drone, controller, and headset), the Insta360 creates a completely different user space; they are directly competing with DJI since, as of now, none of the DJI drones offer 360 recording capability. Pros and Cons: Is the Antigravity A1 Worth Your Investment?
No gear is perfect. Now it’s time to balance the scales in this Insta360 Antigravity A1 review. As we’ve flown prototypes extensively, drawing from real-world tests to highlight what shines – and what could use tweaks.
Pros
Beginner Bliss: Out thenewcamera.com team was lucky to get hands on an early prototype of the drone – our newbie drone-virgin tester nailed pro chase shots in under five minutes, easy to handle. That clearly means for beginners, it’s a perfect 360 drone..
Immersive Freedom: The Insta 360 Goggles delivers an excellent Superman POV (perspective to the pilot of the drone), Kinda of FPV thrill; Best part is you can explore 360 views mid-flight without directional limits.
Post-Flight Magic: Reframe anything – that’s the best part you will experience while editing the insta 360 Antigravity A1 footage – unlocking shots impossible on standard drones.
Portable Powerhouse: Lightweight, quiet, foldable; perfect for travel
Fun Factor: Editing is a blast, with AI tools making Hollywood effects accessible to all.
Cons
Zoom Trade-Offs: The 360 footage loses sharpness when reframed tightly; best at 1080p for social, not 4K billboards.
Speed Limits: Prototype flies steady, not that many manoeuvre,s like the real FPV users may still prefer Avata style drones
Motion Sickness Risk: It’s a bit unusual that Extended sessions in goggles can induce nausea, especially for VR newbies.

Gizmodo: “After using this 360 drone, I’ll never look at flying cameras the same way again… The A1 drone is unique, and novelty often comes at a cost.
