Nikon D5 Coming in January 2016 and the Nikon D400 coming in first half of 2016 According to Veteran photographer Thom Hogan. A glimpse of info from his blog-post
I expect from Nikon in early 2016. I’d be hesitant to buy the other two DX lenses at this point. Nikon has promised more DX lenses in the future, and I’m once again getting word from Japan that the on-again, off-again D400 is on for the first half of 2016. If so, it would make sense to couple that with new DX lens offerings above and beyond the 16-80mm f/2.8-4. Likewise, the 70-200mm f/2.8 is a lens Nikon revisits often—especially near pro model introductions—and the D5 is due in January.
So let’s wait and watch. BTW see the Nikon D5 Rumored specification here and Nikon D400 Rumored specification here.

Well canon finally in the mood to replace the old 50mm F1.4 lens from its Lens line-up with a new one. The Lens will naturally have improved optics along with more closer focusing distance compared to the current lens.
The bad news is the upcoming lens doesn’t have built-in mage stabilization ready and there is also a possibility that the lens will continue to use Ring type USM motor.
The lens announcement is expected in next few months. Stay with us and we will update you soon as we get any new information.

Based on DxOMark lab test result we can clearly see that the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4 II lens scored better than the Zeiss Distagon T 35mm f/1.4. The Canon Lens score was 33 and Zeiss was score was 31, however overall the Sigma score was Score 34 and surprisingly the price of the Sigma lens is cheapest among the three lenses.
Take a look at the test results below and share your thoughts with us.
Take a look at the verdict made by
With the introduction of high-resolution bodies such as the Canon EOS 5Ds and 5DsR, with their ability to highlight lens flaws, it comes as little surprise to see Canon roll out new versions of some of the older models in their line-up. The original 35mm f/1.4 wasn’t a bad performer, but it was beginning to show its age. The new model greatly surpasses the original in several key areas. It is generally sharper, but it’s the improvement in geometry and uniformity that really impresses. Not only does it have low field curvature and astigmatism, but Canon has also dramatically lowered lateral chromatic aberration, with the overall effect of greatly improving imaging performance in the outer field Read the review at DxOMark.
