 We have already seen a bunch of announcements from Canon in 2016, those includes Canon 1DX Mk II Camera, Canon 80D and Canon 1300D. We are almost have confirmed information at the moment that Canon 5D Mark IV is coming on Aug / Sep 2016 (if every thing goes according to schedule). Unfortunately the sources are silent about Canon 6D Mark II camera from past few months and it’s look like the announcement date of the camera is now shifted to Q1 / Q2 2017.
Canon Mirrorless – According to rumored information we have published on April 12, 2016, Canon will announce two new mirrorless camera in upcoming months. On of the model will carry same sensor as of Canon EOS 80D camera and the other model will feature a fullframe Dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor. We have also published Canon fullframe mirrorless patents in the past, you can look them here.
Canon 5D Mark IV – Canon 5D Mark IV camera is rumored to features a newly developed 24 MP dual-pixel CMOS AF sensor, 61 Point AF sensor with 41 cross AF points. The camera will feature Digic 7 image processor and a ability to shoot 7fps of continuous shooting mode. More details here
Canon 800D or Canon 810D – Canon next rebel is expected on arrive on Q4 of 2016 or Q1 of 2017. The specification of the camera is not known yet.
Canon SX70 HS – Canon SX60 HS update is overdue and expected to arrive on Photokina this September 2016, we already know that Canon holds approx 3 patents of 100X compact zoom lens camera and we do have high hopes with the upcoming Canon SX70HS camera.

The Canon DO lens technology helps to create smaller and compact lenses and we already have fullframe DO Lenses for EF Mount camera. But for the first time we came to know that Canon is working on a EF-M and EF-S mount DO lenses.
 Both the lenses shares approx same core specification, The lens focal length 50-300mm, aperture range F4.5-6 DO and features STM (stepping motor for silent AF operation). However, both the lenses are missing Image stabilization and it will be bit hard to capture handheld shots at 300mm.

 Nikon D5 was announced with 4K video mode but the big problem was Nikon 4K video limit was limited to 3 minutes only or 4GB of file size, So the big question is How to increase the Nikon D5 video limit?
So Back on January 22, 2016 we have reported that Nikon actively working to increase the video limit of Nikon D5 camera.
According to latest copy of Nikon Pro Magazine, Nikon will soon announce a firmware update to solve the Video recording problem of Nikon D5 camera. After applying the firmware update to the camera Nikon D5 video recording limit touches 30 minutes.

According to a Nikon Pro magazine the Nikon D5 recording is limited to 3 minutes due to the 4GB file size limit.

How Nikon D5 can creates a 30 min 4K video ?
The answer is very simple, Nikon upcoming firmware update will include a splitter software. That will automatically split 4GB files into pieces and will notify you via display monitor . You will get notification when a piece of 4GB file is about to be end and when next file starts. Later on All the pieces of 4GB file will be blended flawlessly to create a 30min long recording.
When Nikon D5 firmware is available ?
Nikon D5 next firmware update is expected to arrive at June 2016 according to latest rumors. However, Nikon pro magazine confirmed that the upcoming update is free of charge .

Canon 5D Mark IV tidbits are floating over the web, we are now almost confimred that the 5D Mark IV will arrive on Photokina 2016. (20-25 September, 2016) Cologne, Germany. The Photokina show takes place once every two years, Phtokina considered to be one of the major events in the photographic and imaging sector.
According to latest rumors the Price of the Canon 5D Mark IV will be somewhere around $3500 and Shipping of Canon 5D Mark IV will start from October 2016.
The Specification of the Canon 5D Mark IV is unconfirmed yet, but we are sure that the camera will arrive with 4K video, Canon made fullframe Dual-Pixel CMOS AF sensor and Built-in WiFi and NFC.

 We are now confirmed that Canon is serious about the NAB show and they will showcase next gen of 8K cinema camera (C500 Mark II), 8K Display along with few surprise. The information is surfaced over the web via NABHUB durng a interview given by Tim Smith , Senior Advisor, Film and TV Production at Canon.
We will be showing not only our existing product line, with a few surprises, but we will also be showing working 8K cameras and 8K displays that look into the future of production.
A look Back
Well we have told you earlier that Canon is working on a 8K camera, the camera will arrive under the name of C500 Mark II.
Now the C500 camera of camera was the first camera to get 8MP Dual pixel CMOS AF Sensor and features ISO range upto 409600. The C500 powered by Dual Digic DV III image processor and comes with a unbelievable cost of approx a $9999 .
 To generate a 8K image a camera must have a approx 36 megapixels sensor, every slice of 8K frames should be of 33.2 MP. The next big thing is the image processor of the camera, to process even 24 frames of 33+ MP files camera must have a super fast multi-core processor and a built in cooling system to manage the heat produced by the sensor and image processor of the camera. Canon C500 Mark II Coming with a 36 MP Sensor?
Canon already shown us the working prototype of a 8K cinema camera with 36MP Fullframe sensor on September 2015, they also showed us a 120 Megapixel fullframe sensor based DSLR camera on the same event, you can see more details here.
TIP: 4K UHD is a resolution of 3840 pixels × 2160 lines (8.3 megapixels, aspect ratio 16:9) and 8K UHD which is 7680 pixels × 4320 lines (33.2 megapixels).

According to a email from Nomen nescio aka anonymous Canon is planning to update the following list of lenses, we will add more update soon.
Canon 28mm f1.4
Canon already have the patent of 28mm F1.2 and they Canon will announce a the Lens in near future, keep in mind that 28mm F2.8 IS USM version of the lens announced on 2012 along with 24-70mm lens.
New 50mm Coming
The New 50 means include two version F1.2L and F1.4, new version will sure carry advance optics, better AF mechanism (optimized for video) and Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics first seen on 35mm lens.
85mm
Canon EF 85mm f1.2L II USM Lens was announced on Feb 21, 2006, so there is a possibility that Canon may update a 9+ year old lens with Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics and advance AF drive.
70-200mm
The 70-200mm Lens is always a cash cow for Canon, the 70-200mm F2.8 II was announced on 2010 and Canon will soon announce the update of this lens too.
