Does the Clearance of Avata 2 Stock Mean the Arrival of Avata 360 Drone?

The Avata 360 drone is about to arrive and the announcement is expected anytime soon maybe at the end of February or at the very beginning weeks of the March but again we are still waiting for concrete information lowering the price tag of Avata 2 is not uncommon DJI always run their offers at amazon.com store time to time but from December till now that’s the lowest amount or price that you are paying for the DJI Avata combo so yes it can be a signal for clearing out the shelves and to make the space for new one

Also we have already seen a lot of leaks related to the DJI Avata 360 drone and we are also confirmed over the fact that 360 drone works in two ways that’s the regular FPV style drone and in a 360 mode drone means it’s kind of a 2 in 1 drone coming in a single package and obviously if it’s priced reasonably well then people will going to prefer to buy the 360 instead of Avata 2 without a doubt

Canon R7 Mark II Announcement Expected Before June 2026: Latest Leaks, FCC Filings & Rumors

Canon EOS R7 Mark II is obviously a camera that we are all waiting for. Believe me, the press FCC filings that we at TheNewCamera.com team have found clearly indicate that the R7 Mark II camera announcement is coming sooner than we originally expected. Yes, we are all waiting for this APS-C mirrorless powerhouse camera, and the latest FCC ID filing strongly suggests that the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera is going to hit the market in the first half of 2026.

In this article, we are going to cover in-depth details explaining why we believe this. The recent observation of the Canon EOS R7 Mark II FCC filing supports this timeline. At the same time, we will explain why we believe the announcement of the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera is likely to happen within the first half of 2026.

If we talk about the core specifications, then based on the recent set of reports, the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera is expected to arrive with a 39–40MP stacked BSI sensor, blistering 40fps shooting, and pro-level features like 8.5-stop IBIS. This camera is set to redefine APS-C performance for wildlife, sports, and hybrid shooters. Let’s dive into the rock-solid facts, verified leaks, and reasoning behind why the Canon EOS R7 Mark II announcement is imminent before June 2026.

FCC Filing Breakdown: DS126933 Code Ties Directly to Canon R7 Mark II

A recently leaked FCC certification letter dated December 17, 2025, from Canon Inc. to UL Verification Services confirms wireless module integration for a new digital camera model coded DS126933 (FCC ID: AZD260). This filing details the use of a pre-certified Wireless Module (Model: ES204) with Bluetooth Classic capabilities at 2402-2480MHz, ensuring no deterioration in pass/fail test results when installed in the host device.

The question is, why do we think that the registered product matches the Canon EOS R7 Mark II? After cross-verification with reliable sources and based on the information we have received over the past year at TheNewCamera.com, all available data points consistently align with the Canon EOS R7 Mark II rather than any other model.

After deep analysis of all the available documents, including the type of wireless system used in the camera, we also found that the body design hints were clearly visible at the same time.

But one thing made it very clear to us that the upcoming camera is indeed the Canon EOS R7 Mark II, and not the Canon EOS R3 Mark II or anything else. That key factor is what finally made the situation clear—yes, this is the camera we have been waiting for.

Battery Evidence: LP-E6P Confirms R7 Mark II, Rules Out R3 Successor

One of the most compelling clues comes from the battery type. The leaked test report specifies the LP-E6P battery pack (along with PD-E2 USB power adapter and DR-E6P DC coupler), a high-capacity 2130mAh unit introduced with the EOS R5 Mark II and adopted in models like the EOS R6 Mark III. This battery is optimized for demanding features like high-frame-rate bursts, 4K/6K video, and in-camera charging –  perfect for an upgraded APS-C hybrid like the R7 II.

There are two most eligible candidates for this model code that we were discussing: the Canon EOS R3 Mark II and the Canon EOS R7 Mark II. However, based on the type of battery the device uses and the power-supply details mentioned in the filing, it clearly indicates one thing—that this is the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera.

Other than that, the Canon EOS R3 camera uses the larger LP-E19 battery, which is optimised for flagship pro bodies with extended endurance and built-in grips, making it incompatible with the more compact, mid-range design signalled by the LP-E6P in this filing. This battery distinction, combined with the device’s peripherals like the PD-E2 adapter and DR-E6P coupler, further cements its identity as an APS-C successor rather than a full-frame pro update, aligning perfectly with Canon’s strategy to refresh the enthusiast lineup in 2026.

This battery mismatch is rock-solid reasoning: The LP-E6P points squarely at the R7 Mark II, aligning with rumors of a larger body (similar to R6 size) for better heat dissipation and ergonomics.

Canon EOS R7 Mark II Rumored Specifications: A Game-Changer for APS-C

A set of core specifications we have published an while ago,  through Canonrumor, about the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera states that the camera may carry a 39–40 megapixel sensor, and 8K video recording capability. Now, let’s take a look at the key specifications that we are expecting from the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera.

Based on verified leaks from multiple sources including canonrumor.com , the Canon EOS R7 Mark II is poised to outperform its predecessor with pro-grade upgrades. Here’s a breakdown of the expected specifications:

  • Sensor: 39-40MP APS-C BSI CMOS (conflicting reports on stacked design for faster readout).
  • Processor: DIGIC Accelerator for enhanced speed and image quality.
  • Stabilization: Up to 8.5-stop 5-axis IBIS.
  • Shooting Speed: 40fps electronic shutter—ideal for sports and wildlife.
  • Autofocus: Best-in-class for APS-C, borrowing advanced tech from R3/R1.
  • Video: RAW video (resolution TBD), with potential for 8K UHD.
  • Storage: Dual slots (CFexpress + SD) for reliable backups.
  • Viewfinder: High-resolution EVF.
  • Body Design: Larger form factor (closer to EOS R6) for improved handling and cooling.
  • Battery: LP-E6P for extended shooting and in-camera charging.
  • Other Features: Advanced wireless (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi) per FCC filing, weather-sealing.

These specs position the R7 II as a “baby R5 Mark II” for APS-C users, offering 8K capabilities without stepping on full-frame toes.

Canon R7 Mark II Release Date & Price: What to Expect in 2026

The FCC certificate was issued on December 17, 2025, and the registered model code is DS126933. According to general planning and analysis, this model is closely tied to the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera. As we all know, the FCC covers all external photos, test shots, and internal images of the registered product for a 180-day confidentiality period.

Based on this 180-day cycle, the registered camera details—including both external and internal images—will be published in June 2026. This clearly suggests that the Canon EOS R7 Mark II announcement is potentially expected between March and June 2026.

So now, we have a clear timeline for when the Canon EOS R7 Mark II camera is coming—on or before June 2026.

Pricing rumors peg the body-only at around $1,999 to $2,299, offering insane value for pro-APS-C performance.+

Upcoming DJI Products 2026: Osmo Pocket 4, Lito X1, Avata 360 & More – February 2026 Leaks & Rumors Update

The DJI upcoming products in 2026 — we have created the most up-to-date list (updated on 4:22 am, Sunday, 1 February 2026), since we have covered almost all the products that appeared in FCC filings just before December 23, 2025, and we have collected the list here, as you all know. Despite ongoing U.S. regulatory challenges, leaks from reliable sources like thenewcamera.com and tipster Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News),

We have created a roadmap with Key products that include the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 (with a potential Pro variant), the compact DJI Lito X1 drone series, and the immersive DJI Avata 360 FPV drone. This February 2026 update covers rumoured specs, release dates, prices, and features based on FCC certifications, warehouse leaks, and expert analysis.

The content explores the list of products that are coming in 2026; all the products that have been mentioned are registered ones, and none of them are speculation or just rumours. This means all the products that we have mentioned in this article are about to arrive in the year 2026, so now let’s dive in.

1. DJI Osmo Pocket 4: Revolutionising Vlogging

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is one of the hottest topics right now, and we have published a lot of content related to the same. The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 whole camera is expected to arrive before April 2026, as we reported earlier this year as well.

From the initial design leaks, it is very clear that we have two different models of the upcoming Pocket 4 camera. One is the standard model, and the other is PRO with the dual-camera lens-based module. So far, it is said that the standard model is going to arrive first

DJI Pocket 4 Warehouse Inventory Leak: Reveals Kits, Hints at Imminent Launch

The good news is that the DJI Pocket 4 stock has now reached major retailers in China, and they have the entire list of the new Osmo Pocket 4 series cameras in their inventory. The same screenshot was leaked by one of the most trusted sources today.

The wait for the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 might be shorter than expected. A fresh DJI Osmo Pocket 4 leak from trusted leaker Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) has surfaced, showing a warehouse app screenshot with a detailed listing shows stocked bundles of the DJI Pocket 4 camera and accessories.

Before the inventory leak, just before that, the DJI Pocket 4 was accidentally leaked on the Amazon website, which we also covered. In that accidental listing, DJI also published the core specifications of the Pocket 4 camera, which were clearly visible, although it was just a placeholder or dummy listing. The specs that we saw in that listing were visible at the time.

We are waiting for its official arrival, and yes, if we get any further updates about the upcoming DJI Pocket 4 camera, we will be updating it here at thenewcamera.com

Release Date Rumours: Official reveal possibly on or before March 2026;  Warehouse sightings in China suggest stock is building.

Expected Price: $699–$749 for the Creator Combo (a slight increase from Pocket 3’s $669).

2. DJI Avata 360: The Ultimate 360-Degree FPV Drone

Recently. The pre-order page went live; we are not 100% sure about the authenticity, but yes, the pricing and the model code were listed. Apart from that, trusted sources like Igor from Twitter have also leaked bundle combo images from their account of the upcoming drone.

Not only that, but it has also been confirmed that the Avata 360 will work in dual modes. One will be the standard mode that was already known with the Avata lineup, and the next is the 360 capture mode. So, with the flip of the Avata 360 drone gimbal, it can easily switch modes depending upon the user’s selection.

This is one of the most advanced drones from DJI, which is about to arrive before May 2026. We are not very sure about the exact date, since the retailer listings are still not live yet, just like what we have seen with the Pocket 4.

The 360 drone is expected to arrive before the DJI Lito X1, and the expected arrival timeline of the DJI Avata 360 is sometime before May 2026. We will be updating this post as soon as we get any fresh information related to the drone, and you can also explore more content related to the Avata 360.

Rumored Specs & Features:

  • Camera: Dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors (borrowed from DJI Osmo 360) for 8K/50fps 360° video and 4K high-frame-rate FPV; rotating module switches between spherical and single-lens modes.
  • Transmission: O4/O5 system for low-latency, 20km+ range.
  • Safety and Flight: Omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, follow-me tracking, automated paths; cinewhoop design with full prop guards for indoor safety.
  • Battery: Upgraded for 25–32+ minutes of flight time.
  • Versatility: HDR support, wind resistance, and compatibility with RC 2/Motion 2 controllers.

Why it’s exciting: Its dual-mode capability (360° immersive + standard FPV) makes it a game-changer for content creators and VR enthusiasts. Here’s a look at the leaked designs:

What they have done is they also leaked a drone which very closely resembles the arms of the DJI Mini 4K drone, and that was more than enough to confirm that DJI, as well as the Lito X1, is nothing other than the upcoming entry-level drones.

3. DJI Lito X1 (and Lito 1): Compact Drones for Beginners and Pros

Initially, it started with FCC ID leaks, which confirmed the arrival of the Lito Series in the United States of America. DJI Lito 1 and the DJI Lito X1 are the two drones that are already registered in FCC ID and are expected around the second and third quarter of 2026.

“DJI Lito X1 leaks” are heating up, with this sub-250g series positioned as successors to the Mini lineup. FCC approvals in late 2025 confirm global plans.

Rumored Specs & Features:

  • Design: Foldable, lightweight (<250g for no registration); 360° obstacle avoidance with fisheye optics and infrared sensors.
  • Transmission: O5/SDR+5G for 20km+ range and BVLOS flights; Wi-Fi 6/BLE support.
  • Flight Time: Standard battery ~30 min; Plus ~50 min.
  • Controls: Voice (“Hey fly”), motion gestures, app integration; wind resistance level 5.
  • Storage: SD slot + internal (22GB for Lito 1, 42GB for X1).
  • Variants: Lito 1 (entry-level, Mini 4K replacement); Lito X1 (advanced, Mini 5 Pro successor with pro video focus).

Leaked component images from Igor Bogdanov show modular arms and prototypes, with Asian listings confirming branding. You can watch more details here

Well, it may be DJI’s strategy; they could have leaked it intentionally to create pre-announcement buzz about which product is actually coming under the branding of Lito.

Release Date Rumours: Announcement late February to early April 2026; full launch Q2/Q3.

Expected Price: Lito 1 ~$330 base/$490 combo; Lito X1 ~$759 base.

Why it’s exciting: Affordable, regulation-friendly drones with premium features like unlimited-range 5G—great for hobbyists avoiding bulkier models. View the latest leaks:

4. DJI OSMO 360 II: Registered at FCC ID

The DJI Osmo 360 II (also known as the next-generation DJI Osmo 360 or Osmo 360 2) is the upcoming successor to DJI’s first dedicated 360-degree action camera. We have spotted its listing at FCCID. Registration was completed on December 9, 2025.

The certification filing confirms DJI is actively preparing a refreshed 360 action camera with modern wireless capabilities, addressing demands for faster workflows in vlogging, action sports, VR, and immersive content. The “Pass” result and non-covered status clear the path for global availability, including the US market.

Based on the original DJI Osmo 360 (Standard Combo $479.99–$499, Adventure Combo ~$599), the DJI Osmo 360 II is he expected to have the pricing somewhere between $499–$549 USD for the base kit,

  • Standard Combo (Expected): $499–$579 USD (a slight bump from the original’s $479.99, reflecting upgrades like better battery).
  • Adventure Combo (Expected): $629–$729 USD (bundles extra batteries, mounts, and selfie sticks).
  • Regional: €509–€579 / £409–£469 / AU$809–$879.
  • Potential Deals: Launch promotions could drop prices below $500 on DJI’s site or Amazon

Announcement time: Camera is expected to arrive on or before May 2026

DJI Lito 1 and X1 Drone: Release Date, Specs, Price, Variants, and Latest Leaks – 2026 Update

DJI OSMO 360 II Arrival Date, FCC ID Reg Details, and Price

DJI Lito 1 and X1 Drone: Release Date, Specs, Price, Variants, and Latest Leaks - 2026 Update

DJI Lito 1 and the DJI Lito X1 are the two drones that are already registered in FCC ID and are expected around the second and third quarter of 2026. These are the entry-level drones set to be the direct replacement of the existing DJI Mini 4K and DJI Mini 5 Pro. Now, before writing this article, we have done cross verification across multiple sources, which confirms a lot of things related to the Lito 1 and the Lito X1 are the drones. And guess what, we also have an exact timeline when these are coming, so we are going to discuss the details in detail — let’s jump into the content.

DJI Lito 1 and X1 Drone at FCCID:

  • November 27, 2025: FCC Approval for DJI Lito X1 Signals Official Development: The first concrete evidence of the DJI Lito X1 emerged with its FCC certification under ID SS3-DGP14 (models DGP14C and DGP14D). This approval confirms the drone’s compliance with US wireless standards, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth Low Energy, and SDR transmission for low-latency video. Weighing under 250 grams, the Lito X1 is designed as a foldable, entry-level model exempt from registration in regions like the US and EU.
  • On December 11, the FCC approved the Lito 1 under ID SS3-DGN12, establishing it as the entry-level variant. That same day, insider Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) posted on X about the Lito 1, sharing an image and confirming its existence alongside the X1

DJI Lito X1 Variants: Lito X1 vs. Lito 1

Initially, it started with FCC ID leaks, which confirmed the arrival of the Lito Series in the United States of America. Some specific components of Lito action drones were also leaked (and yes, these parts make us sure, yes, they are the drones which come under the LITO branding). Well, it may be DJI’s strategy; they could have leaked it intentionally to create pre-announcement buzz about which product is actually coming under the branding of Lito.

What they have done is they also leaked a drone which very closely resembles the arms of the DJI Mini 4K drone, and that was more than enough to confirm that DJI, as well as the Lito X1, is nothing other than the upcoming entry-level drones.

The design might look a bit different from what you’d expect because the handle being held in the leaked images isn’t the final version. DJI still needs to complete the internal wiring in that section, and the drone motors will be attached right at the very end of the arms. Right now, this is essentially a modular shell/prototype of the Lito X1 – early development hardware focused on form and fit. That’s why it appears slightly different from the DJI Mini 4K. This is completely normal in the drone development process.

DJI Lito X1 Variants: Lito X1 vs. Lito 1

Now we have technically two different drones coming, and it’s already a lot of data to prove that yes, these are two drones only and nothing else. Many Asian websites started listing the Lito X1 drone even on their webpages.

But even before that, we do know which specific model is coming to replace which one, so let’s discuss that.

  • DJI Lito 1: Positioned as a successor to the 2024 Mini 4K, it’s geared toward beginners with basic features but solid performance.
  • DJI Lito X1: The higher-end variant, potentially replacing models like the Mini 5 Pro, with enhanced imaging for content creators.

Both variants have been cross-verified through global certifications, ensuring a worldwide rollout.

Specification” Flight Features and Sensors

  • Obstacle Avoidance: 360° detection via fisheye optics, LiDAR-like sensors (10m range), and infrared for altitude.
  • Transmission: O5 for 20km+ range; Wi-Fi up to 500m. Compatible with RC-N3/RC2.
  • Control Modes: Autonomous, voice (“Hey fly”), motion, app-based.
  • Wind Resistance: Level 5 with efficient motors.
  • Other: Front display, LEDs, SDR anti-interference.

Why do we think O5 will be in X1 – Since after deep analysis of FCCIF document of X1 Drone we found that, it mentions “SDR Transmission 2 Transceiver” (Dec 20, 2025 entry), which aligns with OcuSync’s SDR roots but adds 5G cellular integration—positioning it as a true “next-gen” leap for unlimited range beyond line-of-sight.

O4 achieves 20km (12.4 miles) in ideal conditions (FCC mode), far beyond Wi-Fi’s 1-2km limit. With SDR 2’s 5G integration (as in the FCC), range becomes virtually unlimited via cellular networks, enabling beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) flights for inspections or search-and-rescue—crucial amid regulations like the US FCC bans on non-compliant tech.

Battery and Storage

  • Battery: Standard (~30 min, <250g); Plus (~50 min, >250g). Compatible with Mini batteries.
  • Storage: SD slot + internal (Lito 1: ~22GB; X1: ~42GB).

These features position the Lito X1 as a versatile, value-driven drone. As soon as we get confirmed specifications, we will be updating here at TheNewCamera.com.

DJI Lito 1 & X1 Price: What to Expect

Leaked estimates align with Mini pricing:

  • Lito 1: ~$330 base; ~$490 combo.
  • Lito X1: ~$759 base; ~$NA

Cross-verified with market trends and predecessors, it’s competitive against alternatives like the HoverAir X1.

DJI Lito X1 Release Date: Announcement Before May 2026

As of January 28, 2026, the Lito X1 remains unreleased, but leaks suggest an early 2026 launch—likely late February to early April. Global availability is confirmed via FCC and other certifications.

FCC Registration’s Role in Timeline

The FCC approved ID SS3-DGP14 on November 27, 2025. FCC rules permit confidentiality up to 180 days (or shorter, e.g., 120 days) for sensitive info like photos and manuals. A 180-day period ends May 25, 2026; a 120-day period ends March 27, 2026.

Price and Availability

The Xtra Atto is priced at $299, a significant discount from its regular $449 price tag (saving $150). It’s available now for purchase directly from the Xtra official store and select retailers like Amazon. Early adopters can grab it while the introductory offer lasts, making it an affordable entry into premium wearable cameras.

Final Thoughts

The Xtra Atto isn’t a new breed of camera; we have already seen many POV cameras, like the Insta360 GO series and the recently announced DJI Nano. The Xtra Atto is said to have the same core specs as the DJI Nano—or, to be more precise, it’s a clone of the DJI Nano. But why? Since we all know that DJI is facing a ban and is under the FCC Covered List. Once a company is on the FCC Covered List, it cannot register any new products, and because those products will not receive FCC clearance, DJI will not be able to announce new products in the USA. To solve all those issues, the DJI clone Xtra is now there in the USA, and since Xtra is new, not on the Covered List, neither is Xtra making or announcing any drones, so most probably the company is not again going to fall under the FCC Covered List radar. So it’s pretty safe for the future, and DJI now can now re-announce and remain active in the USA by announcing new cameras and gimbals in the name of the Xtra brand.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro: Exclusive Insights on the Mysterious New Pocket Camera

Image shared by Reddit user – According to him, he accidentally spotted the Dual camera look alike Prototype of DJI Pocket 4 at an indoor ski resort, shenzhen – China

Recently, an intriguing image surfaced on Reddit, sparking widespread speculation about the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro. But is it really the next flagship Pocket gimbal from DJI, or could it be something else entirely—like an upcoming Insta360 Pocket camera? At TheNewCamera.com, we’ve dived deep into the details to separate fact from fiction. This article breaks down the leak, compares it to known designs, and explores what this could mean for content creators searching for the best pocket gimbal camera in 2026.

The Reddit Leak: A First Look at the Mysterious Camera

A Reddit user has recently leaked the camera. First, I have to say that it is very similar to the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 camera, but it is not exactly same as the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro. We are going to explain it later. First of all, this was captured at an indoor ski resort in Shenzhen. As usual, after capturing this camera pic, he shared the image on the Reddit forum with the caption DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro.

It’s quite usual for anyone to spot a camera like this, and obviously, based on the latest set/trends of rumors, we are going to name it the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro without a doubt, but let’s have a look at another perspective.

This sighting in Shenzhen—a hub for tech innovation—adds an air of authenticity to the leak. Reddit users often share unfiltered glimpses into upcoming gadgets, and this one quickly gained traction among DJI Osmo Pocket enthusiasts. But as we’ll see, initial assumptions can be misleading. For those tracking pocket camera leaks 2026, this image has fueled debates across forums and social media.

Expert Analysis: Not the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro?

Thanks to the trusted source Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News), and according to him, the image that is shared by the Reddit user with the caption of DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is not actually the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro camera. He has shared side-by-side images of the actual DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro and the latest model, which the user is sharing. And yes, you can notice quite a bit of difference between the camera images. Bogdanov’s insights are drawn from reliable industry sources. By providing side-by-side comparisons of DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro, he highlights discrepancies that savvy observers might miss at first glance. This isn’t just another DJI leak; it’s a potential misidentification that could point to a competitor’s device. As written in his post, Igor Bogdanov believes the leaked camera is insta360 Pocket camera, and not a DJI Pocket 4 Pro.

Spotting the Key Differences: A Detailed Breakdown

Now, how to spot the difference between the two: as you can see, the gimbal arm which is holding the camera of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is attached to the camera module in a different manner. The image shared by the person recently in the edited form has a bit different setup. Although both are dual-camera and spaced camera designs, the setup—specifically the arm position which holds the camera—is completely different from each other.

To make it easier for readers searching for DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro vs Insta360, here’s a clear comparison:

  • Gimbal Arm Attachment: In the authentic DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro, the arm connects seamlessly in a compact, integrated fashion. The leaked image shows a more modular or offset design, suggesting a different engineering approach.
  • Camera Module Layout: Both feature dual-camera setups, ideal for HQ 4K video capture with Optical Zoom or enhanced stabilization. However, the spacing and overall ergonomics differ, with the leak appearing bulkier or more adaptable.
  • Overall Build: The DJI model prioritizes portability, while the mystery device hints at modularity, possibly for professional upgrades.

So that sparks debate that yes, the unit shared recently from the resort is not the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro camera. It can be an Insta360 Pocket camera with a wireless module setup, who knows—we are going to discuss it later. But as per the trusted source, he is thinking that this is the upcoming Insta360 Pocket camera, not the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro.

These differences aren’t minor—they could indicate a shift in pocket gimbal technology, emphasizing customization over one-size-fits-all designs.

Exclusive Leaked Images: Insta360 Pocket Camera Insights

Now it’s time to add some sort of leaked images of the Insta360 Pro camera. The images of the upcoming Insta360 Pro camera were shared by us exclusively at TheNewCamera.com a few weeks ago, and here you can see again the design difference of the camera module, which is quite a bit different from the design that is being shared by the source recently in the forum. Again, we are having some sort of design difference between the two.

At TheNewCamera.com, we’re proud to have been among the first to reveal Insta360 Pocket camera leaks. Our exclusive images showcase a robust camera module with advanced features, setting it apart from the Reddit leak. For those comparing Insta360 vs DJI pocket cameras, these visuals are essential.

But with the Insta360 Pocket camera, there is one more thing that we have to keep in mind: multiple camera units/modules are visible in a pic where we have heavy camera modules without gimbal, with a possibly larger sensor, and specifically made for dedicated professional content creators who would love to capture high-quality low-light videos.

This modularity is a game-changer. Imagine swapping modules for different scenarios:

  • Low-Light Performance: Larger sensors for superior night shots.
  • Professional Video: Options for high-res footage without the need for a full gimbal.
  • Budget Flexibility: Choose modules based on your needs, from entry-level to pro-grade.

So one thing is very clear: Insta360 is testing a multiple of camera modules for their upcoming Pocket series camera, and possibly they are going to give us options to buy the best camera module as per our requirement and budget.

What This Means for the Future of Pocket Cameras

There is a very high probability that, since the Insta360 Pocket camera prototype is set to launch with multiple interchangeable camera modules, the image shared by the Reddit user is not the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro. Instead, it is most likely the upcoming Insta360 Pocket camera. That said, if you examine the clearly visible module design in the image (as shared by a trusted source above), we cannot deny its authenticity. At the same time, the initial prototype design referenced earlier appears slightly different from what’s shown here. So once again, there is a very high probability that multiple pro-level camera units are still out in the wild, being actively tested by professional users and photographers. We don’t yet know exactly which version will make it to the final production line, but yes—very soon, we’ll have exciting, versatile options for content creation.
