2. DJI Pocket 4: New Leaked Images, Price and Specifications Updates
Now we have two different sets of images of the Pocket 4 gimbal. The first one, where you see the screen, is coming out of China, where you can clearly read Pocket 4 branding but no camera was visible; the image was shared via Weibo.
On the latest leaked image (below) of the Pocket 4 camera, better to say early prototype, we can clearly see a dual-lens setup-based camera. Both of the camera modules look completely different in size. The left one is noticeably tinier, akin to auxiliary sensors we generally see in smartphones or DJI drone multi-camera module units, for specialised functions. This asymmetry suggests not a symmetrical stereo pair but a main–auxiliary duo.
The main housing around the cameras of the new prototype seems to be compact, potentially even slimmer than the Pocket 3’s module when compared. That means DJI has managed to have a dual setup without excessive bulk. At the very same time, the device shown in the image looks fully functional—no extra wires or tapes seen on the body—which clearly indicates it’s a fully developed product or final prototype.
That’s why we have said: Will DJI risk their video quality performance/compromise in image quality by downsizing or replacing the larger sensor?
Now, not only these two, we have one more prototype image being published by Focused Media, which features a DJI prototype with a flat-style front camera that resembles the dual-camera setup, accompanied by a back display screen. So that’s quite unusual since till now you did not have any extra back screen on the Pocket series.
It’s really too hard to discuss the Pocket 4 specifications when you have multiple different types of prototypes floating in the market. In general, DJI tests several prototypes of the product before its official announcement. The source who shared early specs of the Pocket 4 camera also shared his thoughts that DJI is willing to expand the Pocket series, but this will not happen soon.

Latest Leaked Images of the DJI Avata 3
Now we have the recent images from the Chinese regional websites of what appears to be a prototype of DJI. As usual, before the announcement, DJI does rigorous testing of their product. The drone is very compact and cinewhoop-style frame; at a glance, it looks very much similar to its predecessor, the Avata 2, but as you guys may have noticed, the new image shows a heavy and large gimbal size in the leaked image compared to what we have in the Avata 2.

DJI 360 Drone Lens and Sensor Insights
A closer look at the DJI 360 Drone images reveals its camera and lens assembly. To be very honest with you, the leaked images are not even available in HD format, so we have tried to enhance them. However, the image clearly shows a panoramic lens mounted on a rotating gimbal attached to the drone. Sure, this setup will allow for flexible shooting modes. The rotating gimbal can also be used vertically for a wide-angle FPV view shot and enhanced navigation.
SENSOR SIZE: With the size of the gimbal and the lens unit, the sources suggest that the drone unit carries the same 1-inch sensor that we have found in the DJI Osmo 360 camera, which was released back on July 31, 2025. The DJI Osmo 360 camera features dual 1/1.1-inch sensors, so it is able to deliver videos with higher dynamic range and latitude, with an exceptional amount of low-light performance, specifically for nighttime 360 capture.

The DJI 360 Drone sensor is approximately 25% larger than the sensor that is being used in its comparator (1 inch vs 1/1.28″), so if the information said by the source is true, then for sure in the DJI 360 Drone, we will see exceptionally low-light 360 footage that we have never seen before
The leaked DJI 360 Drone images are no coincidence; we were actually waiting for that after the Insta360 Antigravity event announcement back in July 2025, which is set for January 2026 release, so it is quite obvious that the DJI 360 Drone will arrive on or before January 2026.
The biggest difference between the two in terms of camera placement is that the Antigravity A1 uses twin fisheye lenses and which are fixed on the drone, but in the DJI 360 Drone, the camera is placed on a rotating gimbal. Maybe it’s a prototype in testing—the design may be altered or changed when the final production line product comes to the surface. But at the very same time, we have seen very few modifications from prototypes to the final product, specifically when we are talking about the DJI drones. Most of the prototypes that we see generally translate into the final product without major changes.
Market Implications and Release Timeline
The sources clearly mentioned that the prototype is highly mature, fully functional, and likely to be entering into mass production soon. So what can we conclude from that? Obviously, as we have discussed earlier, all the recent rumours are pointing towards a late 2025 or early 2026 launch.
DJI wants to grab the 360 aerial consumer base as soon as possible, and from what I have seen, DJI is now in a “less talk, more action” philosophy, which leaves little room for competitors.
