List of patents surfaced over the web that shows up the list if lenses Canon working in for their fullframe Mirrorless cameras lenses. We have already published the list of upcoming Canon lenses 2019 back on January 2019.

Canon RF Lenses Patent Details

Canon 85mm f/1.2,
Canon 100mm f/1.4,
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8, and
Canon 28-85mm f/2-2.8

List Canon upcoming lenses already have 85mm F1.2 L name.

Canon already showed us upcoming 6 RF Mount lens images, now in the patent above we have 2 brand new lenses name. ( Canon 28-85mm f/2-2.8 and 100mm F1.4). So, probably these two lenses are coming in 2020 or later.

As we have told you few days ago that Canon Registered Canon SL3 camera name in USA ( of Model code DS 126721) and in the same way it will be called EOS Kiss X10 camera in Japan.

Canon 200D Successor Name…

But, what about Asian or UK region name code ? Canon 300D camera was a announced back on Aug 2003. So, Canon 200D successor name is already reserved, the only options left in front of Canon are
1. Canon 250D
2. Canon 200D Mark II
3. Or a completely new name or new series…

It will be really very interesting to see what name will Canon pick for their upcoming Canon 200D Successor.

Canon EOS R Mirrorless Camera With 70MP Sensor Coming in Q4 of 2019

Fuji Says Canon is Wrong

Canon executives said in an interview that Camera industry will shrink further more by 50% in upcoming years. But, at the same time Fujifilm totally disagrees with Canon’s prediction, they believe that Market growth will depend on innovation of camera makers.

Dave Etchells/Imaging Resource: So one thing we’re asking everybody is Mitarai-san from Canon is on record recently…

DE: You’ve been hearing that too? Yeah, and so he says that the interchangeable-lens business is going to contract by half, over the next two years. Do you agree with that assessment? What are your own projections?

Toshihisa Iida/Fujifilm: Totally, totally disagree.

DE: You totally disagree.

TI: We really just cannot believe that projection of Canon’s.

DE: Yeah. What are your projections, what do you think the market will do overall?

TI: I think it all depends on what innovation and what influence comes from the manufacturers. It’s our mission to make the market viable. So I think our projection is there’s a lot of room even to grow further in the camera market.

DE: It might even grow? (!)

TI: Yeah, yeah, yeah. If we look at the Asian market, there’s a huge population over there. Some countries may decline, but some countries soon will change to growth. I think overall, the global camera market, you know.
