Canon EOS R5c latest rumors surfaced over the web, according to the rumor Canon’s EOS R5c (c for cinema) camera will arrive in the near future with an upscaled cooling system, C-Log2, and the same sensor as we have seen the Canon EOS R5 camera.

We do have published information in the past that the Canon EOS R5 sensor is under test again but for a larger body similar to Nikon Z9. Or it’s better to say Canon EOS R1. That’s also doesn’t mean that the Canon EOS R1 camera will arrive with the same sensor since a camera company test at least 3 to 4 different prototypes before the camera jump over the production line.
2. Canon EOS R5c will kill the sales of R5 – Not a good decision?
Does Canon really want to kill the sales of Canon EOIS R5 ?.. Who knows .. but if the rumor is true then for sure someone inside Canon taken a really bad decision for Canon EOS R5 and C70 both.
3. Sony A1 and Nikon Z9 – stealing consumer base
The only reason that Canon wants to announce the Canon EOS R5c camera is to get the limelight from Sony A1 and Nikon Z9. Canon was the first camera maker to introduce an 8k mirrorless camera but cinematographers are not able to connect themselves with the R5 due to overheating issues even in HQ 4k60p mode. Now, Canon wants to fix that mistake by introducing a proper heatsink mechanism like Sony A7S III or A1… or as they have in Canon EOS C70.

Canon working on two new Macro Lenses for Canon RF Mount Mirrorless cameras. one of the lenses is Canon 100mm F2 macro Lens and the other one is a 70mm F2 Macro Lens. Keep in mind both lenses are not true Macro lenses, both offer 0.5x Magnification.

Canon Upcoming DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras 2021, take a look at the list of Canon upcoming cameras of 2021. The list is based on the set of rumors we have received from multiple sources. We will frequently update this list as soon as we get any new rumors related to Canon upcoming camera.
1. Canon Entry-level Fullframe Mirrorless
(Canon EOS Rp Replacement / Nikon Z5 competitor ) Canon will release its entry-level full-frame Mirrorless Camera in 2021. The camera will compete against the Nikon Z5 Fullframe Mirrorless camera and will arrive under an affordable price tag. No detailed information is available about the specification of the camera.
According to the latest rumors, Canon will do a development announcement at the end of 2021. At this moment we don’t have any clear information about the core specification of the camera. Although many leaked specifications of R1 are floating around. I will post an update once I get any authentic information from trusted sources.
3. Canon R7 – Aps-C RF Mount Mirrorless Camera
Canon EOS R7 is a rumored APS-C Mirrorless camera with RF Mount. It will be a direct replacement for the Canon 7D series camera.

Camera companies test several prototypes of a flagship camera before it becomes official. Rumors also suggest that Canon also has a working prototype of 45MP APS-C and 20MP APS-C CMPS Sensors. So, we have to wait to see which Camera body finally gets approved for the production line.
4. Canon G1X Mark IV
Canon G1X Mark IV camera was scheduled to arrive in 2020, but unfortunately, the camera was delayed. Now, we are expecting its arrival this year. There are many wishlists and rumors floating up on the web, take a look at the rumored set of specs of Canon G1X Mark IV Camera

As we have told you back in March 2020 as well as on January 10th, 2021. As per the latest rumors, we will see the Canon EOS R1 flagship camera development announcement in Q4 of 2021 if everything goes in-schedule. As per the latest information surfaced over the web a while ago one of the prototypes of the Canon EOS R1 camera is using the same sensor as we have seen in Canon EOS R5. It’s too early to say anything, but as per the latest rumors surfaced over the web that 24MP (Actual: 25.8 Megapixel, Effective: 24.1 Megapixel) APS-H sensors based cameras prototypes do exist with Canon latest RF Mount. But, all these are prototypes, Which prototype (APS-C or APS-H) gets approved for the final production line no one knows.
