A roundup of lens rumors in a single post, Canon 50mm F1.8 STM Lens is expected to arrive in April 2015, the exact announcement date is still not know yet.
The next L series prime lens coming from Canon is the EF 35mm f/1.4L, however no announcement date know yet.
Canon EF50mm F1.2L lens is also coming with floating lens elements, bigger front glasses and smaller in size when compared to the current version of the 50mm F1.2L lens. The 50mm F1.2L II is rumored to arrive in 2016.

 Lens:
The Nikon P900 features 83X optical zoom lens, that’s is approx 18X more optical zoom than the Canon SX60 HS.
Nikon P900 features better aperture range compared to the SX60HS, so despite of having more optical lens elements and more zoom range, the P900 lens will allow more light to fall in the sensor compared to Canon SX60 HS camera,
Sensor
Both the sensor have same resolution and same size, but the ISO range of the Nikon P900 is 1-stop more than the Canon SX60 HS.. so we will get clear low-light images compared to the Canon SX60 HS camera.
The other Nikon P600 advantage is bright aperture based lens, so at the end we are sure that Nikon P900 will give more cleaner images than Canon SX60 HS.

Finally Canon is planing to replace a decade old Canon 50mm F1.2L Lens with the new one, the lens was introduced in 2001. The upcoming lens will obliviously contain multiple improvements but most important the upcoming lens will carry floating element like the EF 85mm f 1.2L II USM ,
Floating lens elements are also know as close-distance aberration compensation mechanisms that move independently from the main lens groups for the sole purpose of maintaining sharp, even detail across the image field and low measures of color aberration as the lens reaches its closest focusing point.
