The source told us, “The most awaited Sony camera is set to come next month. Press kits are prepared, and NDA forms will be sent to press members and reviewers shortly” So, we are expecting the announcement Sony ZV-E10 Mark II next month.
Since, Expecting a Sony A7V announcement next month isn’t that logical, as well as any other Sony mirrorless camera for now.

Take a look at the list of Sony’s Upcoming Camera and Lenses Updated List below, we have selected the name of camera and lenses expected to arrive in next few months from Sony,
- Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II is expected to be released within the next month.
- The ZV-E10 II is also expected to be released in the next 1-2 months.
- Sony’s ultra-wide 24-70mm F2.0 lens is set to be released in the next 1-2 months. There are rumors that it might be launched alongside the ZV-E10 II, or possibly a little later.
- Sony’s FX full-frame new camera is scheduled for an official release in July-August, potentially being a successor to the FX9 model.
- Sony α7S IV is expected to be released in August-September. Rumors suggest that the new camera will feature a brand-new 24 million pixel Exmor R sensor, supporting 6K oversampling, 60fps 4K video recording, and 120fps 4K video recording in Super35 mode. The new model will have significant differences in features and positioning compared to its predecessor (A7S III), with a lower price range expected (between 2799−2799−3099).

Another unusual rumor we are hearing is that Sony plans to introduce two APS-C bodies with 26 MP sensors in 2024. One is the shutter-less ZV-E10 II designed for vlogging, and the other is aimed at photography, featuring an EVF and a mechanical shutter.

I think this rumor is likely to be false, since an EVF-based 26 MP budget APS-C Mirrorless will disturb the sale of the Sony A6700 camera, I don’t think Sony will do this with the A6700.

According to the latest rumors we have, Sigma is planning to announce a constant aperture zoom lens very soon for full-frame cameras, initially, it will be available for Sony E-Mount and L-Mount. There definitely is a new FX camera, ILME won’t immediately stop producing them. But WW279317 is indeed BURANO, it’s written on the packaging box. For example, Film Hurricane got the first MPC-2610 produced by Shanghai Suoguang.
Suoguang’s professional cameras don’t have Bluetooth, and even the VENICE series doesn’t have a built-in wireless module, they rely on external wireless cards. But Burano has 5.8GHz, which is a first.
The media shouldn’t jump to conclusions without evidence, always thinking about some exotic sentiment. Just because someone’s skin color/nationality is different doesn’t mean they can be appointed.

TNC take: So, for now, as you know the Sony A6700 camera was announced in July 2023, and Sony took almost 4 years to bring the update, the Sony A6600 was announced in Aug 2019. So, you can notice the big difference between the update cycle of both the flagship APS-C Cameras. So, even if Sony plans to update the A6700 camera a bit early, even though they will announce it sometime in late 2025 (Q4 of 2025). So, it’s completely safe to buy a Sony A6700 camera for now.
