According to the latest rumors, coming out from rumor mills. The recently registered WW271448 camera is Sony A7S III. And According to the sources of the rumor mill, Sony will do a product development announcement on April 30th, 2020. And the official announcement of the product is about to happen at the end of June 2020.
Keep in mind these pieces of information are not coming from trusted Japanese sources. So, we have to wait and watch.

Sony registered a new camera model in wireless certification agency, the model code of the camera is WW271448. The camera uses a powerful 5.1GHz Wifi module inside it, which clearly indicated it’s a high-end Fullframe mirrorless camera.
Sony A7 IV or Sony A7S II
- We do have some strong hints about the arrival of the Sony A7 IV camera in the past. But the limited amount of information available at the moment.
- After the development announcement of Canon EOS R5, it’s highly likely that Sony will announce the long-rumored Sony A7S III camera as soon as possible.
So, either Sony A7IV or Sony A7S III Camera coming for sure. Once the camera maker register their camera at a wireless certification agency, In general they take 3 to 4 months to make it official. Wil will update you soon as we get any new information.

According to a latest rumor surfaced over the web, the upcoming Sony A7S III camera may use Sony recently developed IMX 521 CQR sensor. The Sony IMX 521 CQR sensor uses color square pixel array architecture. With the help of CSPA ( color square pixel array) the camera capture 15.36MP Still shots and features excellent high-sensitivity mode. When used used in normal mode the sensor split-up it’s photosites further making it a 61.44MP Quad Bayer Sensor.
 The final output pixel size is 7.52μm, which makes the four photosites into one pixel as you can see from the image. If the rumor is true than Soy A7S III will arrive with Ultra-sensitive (15.36 MP Sensor) and standard shooting mode (61.44MP Sensor)
So, we will have a big improvement compared to Sony A7S II camera in terms of resolution on standard mode of shooting. Sony A7S III will give output in 4K/60p @ 12bit and is likely to be recorded at 10bit in-camera. Stills shooters will have the ability to use 14bit sensor data for the best dynamic range.
As we always say, take with a grain of salt.

We are not so sure about this since the image isn’t very clear. But, as you can see the design of the camera is bit un-usual and big compared to other A7 Series camera. That clearly indicates it’s a new Sony camera and most probably Sony A7S III.
We already have a 6K capable Panasonic S1H camera @ $3,997 at B&H.The only issues a filmmaker will face while recording video is slightly slow AF compared to Hybrid AF system based cameras.

Based on the latest set of information we have the surfaced Sony A7S III camera images are fake. And at the end the rumor mill who published the images also accepted the the fact that these are altered images.

Sony Registered one more camera today, the Model code is WW642826. We have a Major Sony announcement on July 17, 2019. However, announcement details are not available yet.

Sony one more camera cleared wireless certification test and now we have a total of three camera models, those who cleared wireless certification test and are in announcement pipeline.

One of these camera model in a Cyber-shot camera and two of them are Mirrorless. These are the list of three camera models, once the camera has cleared wireless certification test then in general camera company takes 2 to 3 months of time to make them official.

We have received hints from a new source named nano, Sony to announce a new product this month (camera related announcement that’s why we are being informed)
don’t know which product it is related to, but Sony is starting to ship out something later this month. It is scheduled to go on sale 3rd or 10th of June.
