Nikon is working on multilayer sensor. This isn’t the first patent of Nikon Multuilayer sensor, we have also published a article back on January 2018 of Nikon multilyer stacked CMOS sensor.

The upper photoelectric conversion layer 31 and the lower photoelectric conversion layer 32 are stacked on the same optical path. Upper photoelectric conversion layer 31 is composed of an organic photoelectric layer that absorbs light of a predetermined color component (the details will be described later) (photoelectric conversion).
We do hope Nikon will bring these new sensor tech to DSLR and Mirrorless cameras soon.

According to latest rumors Canon pro APS-C Mirrorless camera coming on late August 2019.Most probably the source is talking about the Canon EOS M5 mark II camera. The same source also suggested that Canon will be announcing one more entry level Mirrorless camera, below Canon EOS M50 and the name of the camera will be Canon EOS M500.
Model code details of Canon EOS M5 Mark II camera.
The model code PC 2358 is actually a pro-level mirrorless camera, and possibly direct replacement of Canon EOS M5. So, very soon we will be having our Canon EOS M5 mark II camera. Since, As in usual fashion Canon will going to announce pro models first and after 6-7 months of its announcement will going to have the affordable version of Canon EOS M5 mark II camera the Canon EOS M6 Mark II.

Samsung announce a new smartphone sensor module capable to capture images at 16 stops of dynamic range with 64MP resolution. Based on the press release GW1 sensor can produce bright 16Mp images in low-light environments and highly-detailed 64Mp shots in brighter settings.
One of the most interesting thing is GW1 supports real-time high dynamic range (HDR) of up to 100-decibels (dB) that provides richer hues. In comparison, the dynamic range of a conventional image sensor is at around 60dB, while that of the human eye is typically considered to be around 120dB.

From the initial set of core specification its look like Canon registered 7D Mark III camera with a high resolution 32MP APS-C Sensor. The model code of the camera is DS126801 and it is expected to be announced in next 3 to 4 months, in Q4 of 2019.
