Adding to its extensive range of native full-frame E-mount lenses, Sony today announced the launch of a new G LensTM series, the FE 20mm F1.8 G (Model name SEL20F18G). Ensuring excellent G Lens resolution and bokeh, the FE 20mm F1.8 G is a compact, lightweight, ultra-wide prime – the widest full-frame prime lens in the E-mount line-up – which gives Sony’s full-frame users more freedom to shoot stunning landscapes and starscapes as well as capturing impressive video.

The official announcement of the camera is expected on Feb 26 2020. Fuji is using the same Sony IMX 571 sensor as we have in Fuji X-T3 & X-T30. It looks like they haven’t paired up with Sony to get a new sensor for their XT series camera. Although, Sony do have IMX 510 32 MP with 6k Video capability and IMX671 AQR sensor with 43MP resolution and 8K video recording capability. Although, both of them are not commercially available but built for consumer level Digital camera.
