Finally, a very tough competitor for the Canon R7 camera coming, the Nikon Z90 is said to feature a stacked CMOS Sensor instead of FSI or BSI to deliver the MAX speed possible in burst mode and without any rolling shutter effect.
Canon is planning to introduce a Canon RF Mount Mirrorless camera with cooling vents. But what will happen when the dust will clog this fan inside our camera? since it’s very difficult to disassemble and clean, a clogged motor of the fan will generate more heat when it’s unable to run resulting negative impact on the cooling system of the camera.
Samsung phones were earlier using liquid cooling tech for S-series smartphones but returned to vapor chamber cooling, S22 ultra uses vapor chamber cooling tech, and for s22 ultra Samsung also developed a new thermal paste Gel-TIM which transfers heat 3.5X faster than the conventional paste. they should approach smartphone makers to make a better internal cooling unit.
Patent Details
The front opening of the vents of the camera.
Rear side vents for air intake
Image of the fan inside the camera body.
Canon already has a solution for cinema cameras like Canon R5c, but it looks like the above vent are more compact and designed for upcoming full-frame mirrorless cameras like the Canon R6 Mark II or Canon R5 Mark II.
The Canon way of cooling
Canon R5C does have a cooling fan inside, similar to the patent above
But, again we have no access to the fan health, and once it gets nasty we have to go to the nearest canon service center.
The Fuji way of cooling a camera
Fuji knows they have very limited service centers around the globe, so they have taken the best path.
The Best way to cool down a camera, add an external fan like Fuji. So, we can replace the fan if the fan gets damaged due to dust or water.
According to the latest rumors, the Nikon Zf camera with extensive manual control (as we have in the Nikon ZFc / Nikon DF camera) and the ability to record 4K videos will arrive in June 2023. The Zf name and announcement date were revealed in Nikon’s upcoming cameras roadmap, Nikon still

We will post an update related to the Nikon upcoming camera soon
The above is a screenshot of Nikon’s upcoming cameras roadmap leaked by Nikon Rumor Mill. If we believe the above, The Nikon Z6 mark III and Nikon Z7 Mark III announcement should happen in Sep 2022. And the Nikon Z7 mark III will also have the ability to record 8K videos.
At the same time, Twitter handles such as how-to-fly claimed in the past that Nikon Z6 Mark III or Nikon Z7 Mark III camera was coming this year. Only Z8 will arrive.
Z6 Mark III & Z7 Mark III OR Nikon Z8 in Sep 2022?
The rumor mill is only talking about Nikon Z8 camera in the leaked roadmap which is said to arrive in the month of March 2023, but in the same roadmap Z6 Mark III and Z7 Mark III is also mentioned with the announcement date of Sep 2022, but no one is talking about them. Why?
PS: The Nikon Upcoming Camera Roadmap says the Nikon Z5 uses a BSI CMOS sensor, which is false. The Nikon Z5 Camera uses an FSI Sensor. So, from the nature of information we are getting from this isn’t 100% accurate and the lens road-map is old (made before the announcement of the Nikon Z5 camera.)
I will post an update soon as it will become available to us

DJI Osmo Action 3 Press Release
DJI Unleashes Osmo Action 3 To Capture Moments Beyond the Edge
Osmo Action 3’s Extreme Battery and native support for vertical shooting empower users for their biggest adventures
September 14, 2022 – DJI, the world’s leader in civilian drones and creative camera technology, today introduces Osmo Action 3, the most powerful and content-friendly action camera DJI has ever made. With a battery that empowers users through the most extreme conditions and native vertical shooting for a new perspective of creative freedom, Osmo Action 3 is one of the most versatile, robust, and reliable action cameras available today.
“Ever since we released the original Osmo Action in 2019, we have been continuously inspired by the stunning footage captured with it,” said Paul Pan, Senior Product Line Manager at DJI. “As our users keep pushing further, moving faster, and diving deeper, our mission is to provide a device built to keep up with them. Every new feature made Osmo Action 3 the most reliable, tough, and easy-to-use action camera. We can’t wait to see what our users create when they push their limits with Osmo Action 3.”
A Battery for the Extreme, and More
Osmo Action 3 was designed as a single solution for capturing an active lifestyle, no matter how adventurous. This all starts with a 1770mAh Extreme Battery that lets the camera record for up to 160 minutes.¹ It also handles temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F),² and charges from 0-80% in as little as 18 minutes and 0-100% in 50 minutes³, thanks to native fast-charging support, a first for action cameras. The Osmo Action 3 Extreme Battery comes with Osmo Action 3 by default; no separate purchase is required.
Adventures, Now Vertical
A world driven by social media needs a vertical-first way to capture compelling action – and Osmo Action 3 goes full send. The camera has a built-in mounting system that instantly and securely clips the camera to handlebars, helmets, and more, optimizing the quick-release system first seen in Action 2 by adding notches for a locked-in, impact-resistant hold. A new Horizontal-Vertical Protective Frame brings this quick-mounting technology in a vertical orientation, perfect for social media platforms.⁴ With a tight, reliable hold that withstands bumps, tumbles, and breaking waves, Osmo Action 3 keeps you and your most extreme moments in a perfect frame.
A Dynamic Imaging Powerhouse
Osmo Action 3 is packed with bleeding-edge hardware and software to keep up with your dynamic lifestyle. Its 1/1.7-inch imaging system shoots in 4K/120fps⁵, provides a 155° super-wide FOV, and films smooth footage with a world-class EIS suite. An improved heat management system enables continuous 4K/60fps recording until the battery runs out of power, solving the overheating issue common to many other action cameras.⁶ D-Cinelike Color Mode is available in video, slow-motion, and timelapse modes for those looking for more room to edit in post-production.⁷ And for those willing to dive deeper, Osmo Action 3 is waterproof at depths of up to 16 meters without needing any additional housing.
Steady and Smooth Footage with RockSteady
Osmo Action 3 builds on DJI’s legacy of innovative image stabilization that has transformed cinematography and aerial photography. For a multitude of dynamic shooting scenarios, Osmo Action 3 has three distinct electronic image stabilization options:
RockSteady 3.0 effectively eliminates camera shake in all directions. It works up to 4K/120fps, providing a stable and immersive first-person perspective. This is the ideal stabilization for sport-specific scenes like bike riding, and on-the-go handheld filming.
HorizonSteady helps to eliminate camera shake in all directions and even horizontally corrects tilt at any angle. That means footage can remain horizontally level, even through heavy bumps and 360° rotations, creating the effect of a perfect horizon without any post-production, even in off-kilter pursuits like surfing.
HorizonBalancing corrects the tilt horizontally within ±45° and supports recording stable 4K/60fps videos. A perfect middle ground between RockSteady and HorizonSteady, this mode is ideal when the priority is a smooth 4K picture in a dynamic environment, such as an FPV obstacle course run.
Be Seen and Heard, Loud and Clear
Osmo Action 3 is more than a rugged camera for high-intensity action; it’s also the perfect camera for vloggers and streamers alike. Osmo Action 3 is the first action camera with dual touchscreens, letting users access settings from any angle while keeping the camera in perfect position. Three-mic stereo recording reduces wind noise and boosts the audio quality of the footage. Wi-Fi Livestream supports 1080p/30fps, 720p/30fps and 480p/30fps, and pausing recording during the stream. UAC/UVC Webcam support offers high-quality video and audio for conference calls and livestreams.
Quick Switching Between Five Custom Modes gives access to user-created camera modes at the touch of a button.
Multifunctional Battery Case stores three batteries and two microSD cards, intelligently fast charges three batteries, and can be used together with those batteries as a power bank to charge other devices like your smartphone.
Voice Prompt informs users of current modes without needing to unmount the camera.
Voice Control recognizes voice commands with a high recognition rate to control the camera when hands are busy.⁸
InvisiStick for Skiing recognizes and digitally hides the selfie stick in snowsport situations.⁹
1.5m Drop Resistance from Corning Gorilla Glass for the touchscreens and lens cover.¹⁰
Timelapse with low-power consumption, preset for common scenarios (crowds, clouds, sunset), and dynamic timelapse video stabilization for smooth exposure and color temperature changes.
Digital Lens shoots in Standard (Dewarp), Wide, and Ultra-Wide for all shooting modes.
Digital Zoom of up to 4x can be adjusted while recording for better image composition.
DJI Mic Compatibility via the Type-C port, and external mics via 3.5mm to Type-C cable.
Loop Recording for continuous recording and overwriting according to a preset time.
DJI Mimo and LightCut: Two Ways to Create
Osmo Action 3 connects with the DJI Mimo smartphone app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth for even more functionality, including a live feed of the camera, various story templates, quick in-app editing, and more.¹¹ In addition, the LightCut video editor app is thoroughly optimized for use with Action 3. It can automatically select clips and intelligently match them with exclusive templates to generate ready-to-share video edits.

The Fuji X-H2 features 40.2MP, whereas the X-H2S has 26.1MP.
The 40MP Sensor is a BSI CMOS sensor and the 26MP sensor in the X-H2S camera is a stacked CMOS Sensor. The stacked technology is basically implemented for speed, the X-H2S camera has minimal rolling shutter as well as more precise AF tracking due to faster Sensor readout speed. On, the other side we have an X-H2 Camera with BSI Tech to save its low light performance. Yes, it is possible to integrate the Stacked and BSI together but the production line cost will be raised, and so the camera price tag.
Devil Lies in the details
For those who work in controlled light environments, the Fuji X-H2 camera is made for them, the camera will enormous amount of details in still images when paired with prime lenses and uses at its sweet spot (or near about that). In video mode, the 40MP sensor generates 8K oversampled files for 4K and 6k, so you will be getting a high amount of details in 4K 24, 30fos files too. The 8K pro res RAW is also available (BMCRAW or PRO-RES RAW)
Details capturing ability / preserving more details at low light
The best 26MP sensor camera they have ever created yet is the Fuji X-H2S. For the first time, I was impressed with the AF performance of a fuji mirrorless camera, the X-H2S AF tracking performance is highly improved compared to the previous generation of Fuji cameras. Now, if we talk about the low-light performance of the camera captures an amazing amount of details even in low light. The main advantage is the rolling shutter is also very minimal while capturing motion.

The Autofocus of Fuji X-H2s is slightly better than X-H2, despite the fact both of them use the same image processor and the AF algorithms. Due to the stacked CMOS sensor in the Fuji X-H2S camera. The sensor readout speed is much faster than the Fuji X-H2 camera. That’s why the X-H2 remains limited to 24MP files while shooting at 20FPS.

Still Image Capture
The Mechanical shutter speed is similar in both the camera limited to 15 fps, but with the help of a stacked CMOS sensor and a bit lower res, the Fuji X-H2s is able to capture the images at 40FPS without any crop and full-time AF tracking active. The X-H2 remains limited to 20fps, but only with a 1.29x crop on the sensor, which gives you a file of 24MP.

The Fuji X-H2 does full sensor readout and gives an 8K video recording option in ProRes RAW format (accessible through HDMI).
While doing 8K RAW, you have two options to record ur 8K RAW video externally. Blackmagic RAW or Pro Res RAW. And if u have selected the BMRAW then u have to use the Black magic video assist (recommended) and when u have selected PRORES RAW u can use the Atmos Ninja.
The Fuji X-H2 camera is able to record any resolution internally (except 8K RAW). We have three triers of Apple Pro Res available for recording which includes
High BIT rate 422 HQ
Standard 422
Compressed 422 LT
Heat Management same as X-H2s: Both of the camera support external Fans. So, if ur shooting into hot and humid places you can buy this accessory. None of the cameras has any recording limit.
No 8K in Fuji X-H2S: The X-H2S doesn’t record 8K, the camera is limited to 6.2K 30p in the 3:2 aspect ratio (open gate), as well as 4K 120p (with a 1.29x sensor crop).
Better low-light performance – Fuji X-H2s with its lower resolution sensor is able to give better low-light video as well as still performance compared to the Fuji X-H2 camera.
Here are all the most important specifications.

Price of both the camera
The X-H2 is less expensive, with a retail price of $2000 or £1900.
The X-H2S can be found at $2500, £2500 or €2750.
Note that these prices are for the body only, as of September 2022.
Fuji X-H2 is Recommended for
Commercial shooters and filmmakers are those who work in a controlled light environment. Are recommended to get the Fuji X-H2 Camera with a massive 40M resolution. For those who mostly work outdoors / in uncontrolled light environments or are related to action and sports, X-H2S is more recommended.
