According to latest rumors the Sony may use a M4/3 size sensor in its upcoming RX series camera, the source also added that the prototype of the upcoming camera is more compact than the current LX100 camera.
and as you already know that Sony listed 2 new M4/3 sensor in their Product Line up page of us website, so soon or later we are sure that we will see a RX camera loaded with M4/3 sensor.

If we believe the current rumors floating over the web, Sony engineers working on high resolution mode that will enable users to create 48Megapixel (super high resolution) image files from the current Sony A7II camera, the A7II will capture multiple shot of same subject by moving the sensor bit by bit (thanks to presence of 5-axis IS system) and will generate a single composite image of 48 MP, same working principle as of Olympus E-M5 II camera.

 Now according to latest rumors surfaced over the web, Sony will announce Sony A7R II camera on Mid May 2015, and product shipping will start from June 2015. Now take a look at the list of upcoming products that Sony will announce soon…
1. Sony HDC4300 high end camcorder – Announcement on April 12, 2015
2. Sony RX or A-mount camera – Announcement on April 23, 2015, on that day one thing is confirmed that Sony will not going to announce any E-Mount camera, however take a look at the list of rumored A-Mount and RX series camera that may arrive on 2015 — The Sony RX2 and A99II followed by the A58, RX20 and RX100m4.
3. Sony A7000 or Sony A6000 Mark II camera is rumored to arrive on Mid May, 2015.

We have just received first set of RX100 M4 specification by a new source, take a look at the rumored specification below..
New or improved stuff in the RX100 iv or RX100 m4 is:
– 4k Video at 30 FPS (that one is an easy one)
– Improved Zoom to 24-100mm (just over 4x zoom range)
– Articulated Touch screen with touch screen focus – but still no touch menu
– restyled button layout – now with 2 dials on top (similar to the a6000)
– New and improved sensor with spherical shape and phase Autofocus points.
– New (tiny bit improved) image processor (needed for 4k Video)
– no EVF but expandable via hot shoe (urg. Why?)
If the leaked specification is true then RX100 M4 camera is sure coming with a big change compared to its predecessor, however the source is new so take it as grain of salt.

 According to latest rumors Sony A9 will arrive on April 23, 2015 with newly developed Sony 50 Megapixel fullframe CMOS sensor, the other expected announcement is the Sony RX100 M4 camera and this time we do hope the upcoming RX100 M4 camera will feature 4K video recording and modest upgrade in core specification.

A new multilayer sensor patent surfaced over the web, the sensor have a built in lens that will automatically correct the incident angle at the corner which usually causes heavy color shifting, huge vignetting and loss of sharpness.
The sensor tech will also support third party lenses that also includes wide angle lenses. We also do hope that Sony will soon announce multilayer fullframe sensor camera.
