Key points of the interview…
1) Image stabilization:The A7r II image stabilisation unit itself is more advanced and complicated than the one used on the A7II. This because it has almost double the number of pixels of the A7II. That said the A7rII has same 4.5 step compensation as the A7II.
2) A-mount future:Sony answered that yes they are still developing the DSLT line and: “SLT cameras still offers some advantages like longer batter life, better grip, and whole functionally is still like DSLRs. We believe customers are still there and that they will love these DSLT cameras.”
3) Uncompressed RAW:Mr Hori simply says: “I’ve heard of this request. If there is a high demand, we can consider developing it in the future.”
4) A7sII:When asked if we can expect to see a new A7sII Mr. Hori answer is: “I hope so. *laughs* Of course I cannot comment but you can imagine, before today, the people wanted in-body stabilisation for the A7r. That was the most frequent feedback from the consumers. So we made this A7r II with even higher resolution. But I cannot comment on future products.”

As we have already seen the Sony A7R II, RX100 M4 and RX10 2 announcement from Sony.. the only camera not included in the list was the Sony A7000 / A6100 . Why the camera was not included in the list ?
According to a email we have received few months ago the camera was almost ready for announcement back on May 2015, but due to the overheating issue of the sensor while recording the 4K video the announcement was postponed back on May / June 2015… but after that we haven’t received any information for that source.
The Sony Completed all its June announcement and no more camera incoming for sure, but we can do expect the announcement on Sep 2015.

Sony Announced its RX10 successor today, the camera comes with new 20.2 MP, 1″ Exmor RS BSI CMOS stacked CMOS image sensor with a DRAM chip, with the help of newly developed tech the camera can capture more sharp images with improved color and contrast ratio, when the DRAM chip is integrated into the Bionz X image processor the camera gets a boost in overall speed, now after the additon of the DRAM chip camera can now records UHD 4K video, fast readout speeds, burst shooting up to 14 fps, and a maximum physical shutter speed of 1/3200 sec and a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/32000 sec.

The Sony RX10 II can records 4K videos up to five minutes with no line skipping or pixel binning and with minimal moiré or visual aliasing. The XAVC S format is utilized to maximize high-bitrate shooting up to 100 Mbps for professional-quality video, the camera can also record Super Slow Motion High Frame Rate movies at up to 40x slower than real time. These slow motion clips are recorded at 960 fps, 480 fps or 240 fps and can then be played back at 1920 x 1080, in either 60p, 30p or 24p. At resolutions below 4K, including Full HD 1920 x 1080p, movies up to 29 minutes in length can be saved.
Pricing and Availability
The new Sony Cyber-shot RX100 IV(model DSC-RX100M4) compact and RX10 II (model DSC-RX10M2) high-zoom camera will be available this July for about $1000 and $1300, respectively. Pre-sales for each model will begin on June 17th.
Sony today updated the ultra popular RX100 series with RX100 IV camera, the camera features newly developed stacked CMOS sensor with 20.2 MP resolution, the ISO ranges from 125-12800, the stacked sensor allows more light to get into the sensor resulting better low-light performance compared to its predecessor.
The Sony RX100 IV camera uses same 24-70mm lens with F1.8 aperture at wide-end and F2.8 aperture at tele-end, the new camera allows you to acquire continuous shooting speed of 16fps while maintaining the same resolution.
Introduction of electronic shutter in RX100 M IV, the RX100 IV camera uses mechanical shutter featuring a top shutter speed of 1/2,000 which is almost enough for all shooting condition, but wait an electronic shutter is also there to provide the ability to capture at 1/32,000 second.
