As you can see in the image above Sony and Nikon Listed as Medium/Large Format Exhibitor at PDN PhotoPlus Expo show (Oct 23-26) Exhibitor details page, We are the first website to the publish Nikon Medium Format Lens patent information few days ago (see here) and we truly believe that Sony is also fully capable of making medium format camera / sensor without any doubt.
+1 Canon is not listed as Medium/Large Format Exhibitor.

So it may be possible that we may see some prototypes of Medium format camera from Sony and Nikon at PDN PhotoPlus Expo show (Oct 23-26), however it is confirmed that Sony will announce Sony NEX-FF, NEX-7 successor, A5000 on October 16.

Thanks for the readers for sending the info, According to public Indonesian agency postal database Sony will soon announce three new camera, one of them is ILCE-5000 and other two names are beyond my recognition – “WW328261” and “WW328262“. could be the two new NEX-FF models code name? may be true… but don’t have any full details yet.
Just few days ago we have told you that Fuji X-E1 Successor Fuji X-E2 is coming, today we got confirmation that X-E2 is coming but there is also a XQ1 model in the list, the XQ1 is a compact camera of X series and we will probably see a new sensor inside the XQ1 model.

Sony NEX Full Frame Camera Specification surfaced over the web, according to latest rumors the upcoming Full Frame Mirrorless camera may feature 5 axis image stabilization, upto 12fps of shooting speed and only 15% larger body compared to NEX7.
This is what he writes about the NEX-FF:
– Resolution still not confirmed – 24, 32 or 36 mpix
– 5 axis image stabilization, upto 5 stops gain
– 1400 focus points, much improved metering
– 3,5,8,12 fps modes, also something they called ‘mega fast mode’ 14 pcs
– 1 new flash unit
– 1/4000sec

– 15% larger body compared to NEX7 and 20% more weight than 7

Its almost confirmed that Sony Full-Frame will be displayed its on OCT 23-26 PhotoPlus Show, New Sony RX10 (APC-C compact camera) and few more future mirrorless DSLT may be also displayed in the show.

On February 11th, 2013 Spanish website DSLRmagazine (see here) interviewed Mr. Masaaki Oshima from Sony. When DSLR Magzine asked about the camera that could fit in between the RX1 and RX100 MR. Masaaki said: “ At this time, we studied what could be the best solution for such a compact, but have not yet made a decision“.

But after 6 months I think Sony is finally ready to announce Sony Cybershot DSCR1 Successor (See R1 at Amazon), according to latest rumors the upcoming APS-C compact name is RX10, no more details about specification is available yet, we will update you soon as we get any new information.
