According to a latest rumors published over the website SLRclub (Korea), Panasonic may soon announce a fixed lens based compact M4/3 camera (no detailed information available right now).
The fixed lens M4/3 camera rumor started two years ago when MR-Uematsu told Quesabesde that there could be a “possible future fixed lens camera with larger Four Thirds sensor”. Finally, we are sure about the arrival of 1 inch sensor based compact camera LX8 on July 16, but there is also some possibility that we may see a M4/3 based compact camera on the same day.
