It all started from Nikon D5300, Nikon D5300 was not accepting sigma lenses but after firmware update it all fixed now, Recently announced Nikon DF also showed same problem and Sigma promised to fix it very soon via a firmware update (Nikon DF – AF Problem with Sigma Lenses).
According Nikon users worldwide Last D3100, D3200, D5100, D5200 and P7700 firmware update killed third party battery compatibility, their third party EN-EL14 batteries no longer work after the last firmware update.
Yes we know that Nikon profit is all time-down and sales are also affected due to smartphone sales + Sony RX series arrival + Nikon D600 oil issue, but this is not the good way to increase the profit.

Polaroid iM1836 announced on April 2013 and the design of Polaroid iM1836 was similar to Nikon J1 camera, Nikon lawyers filed a case against Polaroidat Southern District Court of New York and judge took 30 seconds to announce its decision. As part of the injunction, Sakar will no longer manufacture, import, advertise, promote, offer for sale, sell, or ship the Polaroid iM1836 digital camera in its present configuration.

Court issues consent injunction in lawsuit against Sakar over Polaroid iM1836 digital camera
On October 11, 2013, Nikon Corporation and Nikon Inc. (“Nikon”) sued Sakar International, Inc. (“Sakar”) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York for design patent infringement and trade dress infringement arising from Sakar’s “Polaroid iM1836” digital camera (Case No. 13-Civ-7228 (S.D.N.Y)).
Shortly thereafter, Nikon moved for a preliminary injunction to stop the sales and advertising of the Polaroid iM1836 digital camera. After appearing before the Court, Sakar and Nikon agreed on the terms of a preliminary injunction. The Court thus issued a Preliminary Injunction Order on December 4, 2013 (Eastern Standard Time).
As part of the injunction, Sakar will no longer manufacture, import, advertise, promote, offer for sale, sell, or ship the Polaroid iM1836 digital camera in its present configuration.
The above mentioned design patent and trade dress rights are related to the “Nikon 1” Advanced Camera with Interchangeable Lenses.

According to a latest press release by Sigma some of its lenses showing AF and Image Stabilization issue . Sigma will release a free firmware update for its customers to fix the issue + If your Sigma lens is not compatible with the USB dock, you will have to contact your nearest Sigma service center., for more details follow the release.
Information Regarding Nikon Df Cameras
Thank you very much for purchasing and using Sigma products.
We have found that the current firmware of our Nikon fitting interchangeable lenses may not work properly with the Nikon Df camera’s OS and Auto Focus functions.
This is similar to the phenomena described in “Information Regarding the Nikon D5300 Cameras” that we have announced on November 19th.
However, for the Nikon Df cameras, it includes those lenses that do not have an internal AF motor, and the following products will require a firmware update.
For those customers who use Sigma lenses in Nikon mount with the Nikon Df camera, we are going to provide a free firmware update.
Please note that all the products we dispatch from the factory will have the latest firmware.
Phenomenon
Without the latest firmware, the OS and Auto Focus functions do not work properly when it is used with the Nikon Df.
Concerned Products
Nikon fitting interchangeable lenses not yet updated for the Nikon D5300 camera.

We have arranged some HIGH ISO samples of all the flagship full-frame DSLR, as we all know that Nikon D4 and DF shares same sensor so the overall image quality of both the camera is almost same, but at ISO 51200 the Nikon DF image is showing bit more color noise compared to D4. Canon 1DX is also showing very good image quality during HIGH ISO test.
