Finally Nikon Discontinued its first APS-C Sensor based compact camera, the coolpix A was announced on March 5, 2013.. so almost after 2 years the production of the camera finally stopped.

About the Coolpix A Successor
We have recieved a email from a anonymous source few days ago (Take the information as grain of salt), according to him
Nikon Coolpix A successor Prototype(s) have 24 Megapixel DX format sensor inside it, Fast image processor and improved Autofocus Speed compared to the predecessor.
Few things are still unclear that Nikon implemented a new AF algorithm to improve the contrast detection AF speed or they will use completely new APS-C 24 MP sensor with active phase AF points, the expected announcement time-frame is Q2-Q3 of 2015.

We have compared the Nikon J5 with its predecessor and current Nikon 1 V3 model, for those who are new… Nikon have three series in mirrorless system camera. the Nikon S series is entry level series cameras, the J series is mid entry level camera and V series is high end mirrorless camera.

Now lets start with the sensor used in all the three camera listed above, now before we start to see the difference lets take a look at the common things … all three camera have sensor size of 1″.
Now the Nikon J5 out of all the three camera is giving you the max resolution, not only max resolution that the sensor is newly developed and tied up with the Nikon most advance Expeed 5A image processor, with the help of the advance image processor the new sensor will sure give you better result compared to the other two.
The Auto Focus system of all the camera is same, all the three camera is based on the hybrid AF system., the sensor they are using is so advance that it has built-in 171 phase AF points that works all the time weather you are shooting still or recording a video.
The ISO range, shutter speed and continuous shooting speed of all the three models is almost same.
Nikon J5 is more video oriented camera, the camera can record 4K videos at 15fps on the other hand the opponents are limited to Full HD recording mode only, you can shoot high-speed HD 720p movies at 120 fps or 400 x 144 movies at 1200 fps.

We’ve to give a hard try to pick the real difference between the two cameras Nikon D7200 and Nikon D7100 as both the two cameras are successor and predecessor of each other and they’re closely resembled to one another in almost every specifications. Though,we’ll talk more on those specification in which they are dissimilar.
Major Difference
Nikon D7200 vs. Nikon D7100 Specification Comparison Table.
Sensor: Despite of having same resolution and sensor size and resolution, the Nikon D7200 sensor is new so we will see for sure some performance improvement in the camera.
Image processor: Just look at the table it’s clearly seen that Nikon D7200 uses Expeed 4 processor while its predecessor Nikon D7100 is operating by Expeed 3. The expeed 4 has a great help in consuming less power while capturing full HD (1080p) video at 50/60fps and decrease your anxiousness with improved contrast detection autofocus and live preview autofocus.
ISO: Thanks to the new sensor the Nikon D7200 can boost up its ISO range upto 102400, whereas the Nikon D7100 ISO is limited to 25600.
AF System: The AF system remains same and that’s the most disappointing point here.

WiFi– Wifi with NFC in Nikon D7200 plays a key role in sharing your images and videos with your some near and closest friend or someone by connecting with their android, iOs devices, tabs etc.
Battery life: The Nikon D7200 has been packed with a very powerful battery and that can apply power to the camera to take upto 1110 number of shots and on the other hand the battery of Nikon D7100 can let you to take 950 shots only.
Weight and dimensions: Dimensions are of same scale to both the cameras but again the Nikon D7200 is more comfortable to carry due to its lower mass as contrast with the Nikon D7100.
Verdict: Nikon D7200 have better core specification compared to Nikon D7100, the camera features new sensor, better image processor amd Built-in WiFi with NFC, hence we highly recommend you to go with Nikon D7200.

I missed that statement made by Nikon representatives however MR.com captured it, according to them Nikon thinks they don’t need to develop APS-C or fullframe mirrorless camera,
In an interview at Dpreview Nikon said:
We still believe that Nikon 1 has room for further evolution. This is the area we want to put effort in to, rather than making bigger sensor mirrorless cameras.
We have two different categories: the D-line and the 1-series, and with these lineups, we believe we’ll meet all the needs of customers.
Nikon have a golden opportunity in hand to introduce a DX amd FX mount Mirrorless system camera with Sony Hybrid Sensor (same sensor tech as of Nikon 1 series camera) and if they are not interested they are losing market share…
