So finally, we have clear information on what the two different models of the DJI Avata 360 drone are coming, and what the major differences between these drones are in terms of new connectivity features. We are going to explain this in our article, but before that, keep in mind that the DJI Avata 360 announcement is very near, on March 26, 2026 (8 PM Beijing Time / 12 PM GMT / 8 AM EDT). It will launch in China, and next month, in the first week of April, the global rollout will occur.
For now, we have screenshots of two pre-approved DJI Avata 360 drones by Chinese regulatory authorities, and according to them, one is the traditional operative drone, which is obviously meant for the global rollout. The other features enhanced connectivity specifically for the Chinese market, and neither of these drones is under 250 g.
Why DJI Made a China-Only 4G Version of the Avata 360
We all know that the DJI Avata 360 does have limited battery life, which can max out at about 20 minutes of flight time. So, enabling 4G connectivity in a drone that only has around 20 minutes of flight time looks quite unreasonable, since why would the manufacturer include 4G network connectivity for a longer, stronger connection when the drone may not have enough power to return? Other than that, 4G transmission will also consume battery power while in use.
The most important part here is to understand that DJI wants to enhance the overall user experience, and by adding additional 4G connectivity, they improve user experience with more precise control during flight while transmitting higher-quality 4K video on the move without any breaks or lag. Despite fast movements or rotations, this specific model has been designed for China ONLY
Mainland China’s strict urban flying regulations and dense signal environments make built-in cellular redundancy extremely valuable. The integrated 4G LTE module (not an external dongle) automatically switches to “增强图传” (Enhanced Video Transmission) when OcuSync drops — exactly as described in official Chinese filings.
This mirrors DJI’s approach on select Mavic and Mini Enterprise models, but it’s now built directly into a consumer FPV cinewhoop for the first time. Outside China, the module is deliberately disabled for regulatory and licensing reasons — identical to the Mavic 4 Pro cellular dongle behaviour at launch.
Italian testers who received early DVN3XT samples confirm: the 4G icon appears in the DJI app, but activation fails with a “not enabled for my region” error. Firmware workarounds are quickly patched.
DJI Avata 360 Specs: What Both Versions Share
Both the standard and China-only models deliver identical core performance:
Dual 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors for true 8K 360° spherical video
Tiltable camera module (seamless switch between full 360° and classic forward FPV view)
User-replaceable lenses
Latest OcuSync 4 transmission (up to 20 km in ideal conditions)
Full omnidirectional obstacle avoidance with LiDAR
~400 g takeoff weight (requires FAA registration + Remote ID in the US)
Full compatibility with DJI Goggles N3 / Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3

Key fact for US pilots: You will only receive the DVN3NT model. The DVN3XT never received FCC certification and is blocked by DJI’s December 22, 2025 Covered List addition.
Will the 4G Version Ever Work in the United States?
Short answer: No.
No FCC ID exists for the DVN3XT.
DJI’s US import rules (Covered List) prevent new cellular drone approvals.
Even if imported from China, it requires Chinese DJI servers and stays permanently locked.
US buyers get the pure DVN3NT with class-leading OcuSync 4 — more than enough for 99% of FPV and cinematic flying.
Official Launch Event: March 26, 2026 (live stream on DJI channels)
Pre-orders: Open immediately after the stream on DJI.com and Amazon.com and authorized US retailers
Shipping: Early-to-mid April 2026 (most reports point to April 9 global availability)
Expected US Pricing (based on European leaks and US retailer pages):
Drone-only: ~$499
Fly More Combo (drone + extra batteries + case): ~$999
Full Goggles N3 Combo: ~$1,199–$1,299
Note: The Avata 360 is one of the last new DJI models to clear US regulations before stricter rules took effect — it remains fully legal to buy and fly in America.
Should US Drone Pilots Care About the 4G Version?
Honestly? Not at all. The standard DVN3NT already offers an outstanding range and reliability.
If it’s only limited to China, then for sure we do not have that much use of that drone in the United States of America. So, we have to put our focus on the upcoming DJI Avata 360 Standard Edition, which obviously has a lot more to offer compared to competitors like Antigravity A1, including a 360° view as well as a normal FPV mode in a budget range.
So technically, despite the absence of 4G, the DJI Avata 360 still has a lot to offer in the United States of America. Although if the ban were not there, for sure we would enjoy the 4G version of the drone in the United States of America too.
We cross-verified every detail using official DJI teasers, CAAC/UOM Chinese registry data, news reports, FCC filings, and reports from Italian pre-release testers. Everything checks out 100%. Here’s the definitive US-focused guide.

The Panasonic Lumix TZ300 ( ZS300 in some regions) compact camera is about to arrive, but before its arrival, the Z300 is already generating significant buzz following recent leaks from user communities, including Reddit discussions
The Z300 leaked image confirmed to us the core specifications of the camera and also mentions the official announcement, which is scheduled for March 24, 2026, with pre-orders likely starting the same day in the United States. Availability / Shipping of Z300 is expected in the 3rd-4th week in April 2026. No official pricing has been confirmed yet in the leaks, but we do believe the price will remain somewhat similar to the Z200, since most of the core specs of the camera match with the predecessor, including the sensor and zoom lens, the body design, although modified. Though it may position itself as a premium travel zoom compact, potentially in the mid-to-high range based on its upgrades over the older TZ200 (ZS200) model from 2018.
Panasonic LUMIX TZ300 Full Specifications (Leaked 2026)
Here are the confirmed Panasonic TZ300 specs straight from the leaked display cards:
Design: All-new clean black finish (no red grip line — sleeker than TZ200D)
Body: Pocketable travel size with USB-C port and refined top controls
Key Claim: “Perfect Travel Companion”
These specs make the Panasonic TZ300 one of the most versatile compact cameras for US travelers, vloggers, and hobbyists in 2026.
Panasonic TZ300 Release Date & US Launch Details
Official Announcement Date: March 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM UTC (10:00 AM EDT / 7:00 AM PDT)
Embargo Lift: Same time — full specs, sample photos, and pricing drop simultaneously
So, US pre-orders and shipping will begin just 2 to 4 weeks after the official announcement of the camera, which is about to happen on March 24, 2026, as we have already said, around mid-April.
Canon G7X Mark III and SX740HS True Competitor
Panasonic has used this specific timing for announcing its updated, high-quality, professional-level Z300 camera with a large 1-inch sensor and 15x optical zoom, specifically to match the demand of consumers who are looking for cameras like the Canon G7 X Mark III or the Canon SX740 HS for a pocket zooming experience.
Technically, if you look at the Z300 camera, its specifications cover all the requirements of a large compact camera as well as a pocket zoom, which means a perfect combination of the Canon G7 X Mark III and the Canon SX740 HS in one camera. No one saves.

New images of the Insta360 Luna white edition have surfaced, which makes sense given the DJI Pocket 4 camera announcement is near. We are also expecting the Insta360 Luna camera announcement very soon. The leak comes directly from the largest store in China, where a store manager showcased the Luna pocket camera and shared an image of the camera. More importantly, this was shared by one of the most trusted leakers, Igor Bogdanov, on March 16, 2026.
They confirm that a new colour option is also being added to the Insta360 Luna: white, and that the dual-camera setup will challenge DJI’s dominance in the standard edition in 2026. They are also planning to announce a DJI Pocket 4 Pro camera later in the middle of this year.
The Insta360 Luna camera features a dual-lens setup, which reaches up to 3X optical zoom, as well as AI image stabilisation, delivering professional-grade video even prior to its official announcement. We have already shared the teaser video of the Insta360 Luna camera.
Insta360 and DJI are very close competitors, Luna looks like a closer competitor to the DJI Pocket 4 PRO
New Insta360 Luna White Images: What the Shenzhen Store Leak Reveals
The leaked photos show the white Insta360 Luna in action inside the flagship Shenzhen store. One image captures him holding the Luna up to his face while flashing a peace sign, another close-up shows the side profile with the rotating touchscreen, record button, and a small white wireless mic accessory clipped to his shirt.
So these images do show that Insta 360 Luna is coming in different colour variants as well as features do a lens camera set-up inside, Insta360 Luna flexing itself in leaks before the official announcement.
One thing is very clear: the presence of the device in the store itself confirms that major retail stores in China already have a supply/stock of the Insta360 Luna camera. Specifically, right now the leaks are originating from China, so we can expect its announcement in mainland China first, followed by a global (including the United States of America) announcement later in the week.
These images prove the Insta360 Luna will be available in multiple colour variants, moving beyond basic black designs of pocket series cameras.
Insta360 Luna Design Highlights: Modular Gimbal Meets Dual-Lens Innovation
As we first reported after the official unveiling, the Insta360 Luna is no ordinary pocket camera. CEO Liu Jingkang confirmed at the company’s annual meeting that this is a true handheld gimbal competitor to the upcoming DJI Osmo Pocket 4. Key design elements include:
Modular “Twist” system – Interchangeable camera modules and lenses for maximum flexibility (use it standalone or attached to the gimbal).
Dual-lens setup – Wide-angle primary lens plus a 70mm telephoto for true 3x optical zoom and beautiful bokeh effects.
Rotating touchscreen – Swipe gestures, live AI tracking, manual zoom, and quick settings access.
Advanced controls – Dedicated record button, thumb joystick for gimbal panning, power/mode switch, and LED status indicators.
The new white variant perfectly matches the premium build quality teased in earlier prototypes. Multiple color options (now confirmed in-store) will let creators personalize their gear – ideal for influencers and travel vloggers.
Insta360 Luna Key Features & Specs: Why It’s More Exciting Than DJI Avata 360 Hype
At TheNewCamera.com, we were the first website to publish images of the device, and one of the best things is that it can detach into a smaller camera module that can be used more conveniently by solo filmmakers.
Before I move on, let me clarify that even Insta360 CEO Liu is very excited for the Luna. Back in January, when a dual-camera-based prototype image was making rounds on the web as an Insta360 Pocket 4 camera, Insta360 CEO Liu came forward from his Weibo account and said that it’s not from DJI.
From this very specific incident, you can understand how important this announcement is even for the Insta360 company itself.
Insta360 Luna Launch Timeline: March – April 2026
Everything points to a first-half 2026 release, with strong rumors pointing to March or April. The Shenzhen store sighting, combined with previous FCC filings and teaser videos, suggests Insta360 wants to steal the spotlight right after (or alongside) DJI’s Avata 360 and Pocket 4 announcements.
We’ll continue tracking every update right here. Expect pricing details, full specs, and pre-order information very soon – especially now that the white Luna is already appearing in physical stores.
Stay tuned at theNewCamera.com for the most accurate and timely Insta360 Luna coverage in 2026.

DJI Avata 360 is about to become official, and the price is very clear to us thanks to leaks from European retailers. The authentic price sheet just before the announcement has been made available to us by one of the most trusted and authentic sources, Jasper Ellens. Also, we may have a $10 to $15 price difference in the final pricing due to changes in currency values, since they do not always remain the same. And we calculated the price of the Avata 360 kit from the European retailer price list.
Here we are comparing the price of the DJI Avata 360 with the Insta360 Antigravity A1 drone. Now, just after the official announcement of the Antigravity A1, it is not as popular among users as it was hyped up before the announcement. There may be two reasons behind that. The first and foremost is the price, which we are going to compare against the Avata 360, and you will have a clear idea of the difference you have to pay for choosing the Antigravity A1.
Other than that, the biggest factor is the limitation of 360-degree view capture. Yes, it may sound exciting for some users that they are able to capture a full 360-degree view, but some users still prefer to have FPV-style shooting, or they simply want to use the normal front camera. In that case, the 360 video workflow can become a problem for them, since they have to process it, capture the frame, recompose it, and handle the entire editing process.
Why the 360° Drone Battle Matters in 2026
Traditional FPV drones like the DJI Avata 2 excel in agile flight, but 360° models add full-sphere capture for VR. The best part is the new Avata 360 can do both with its rotating gimbal; it can shoot traditional as well as 360 style shooting. Technically, you get true creative freedom with Avata 360. The Antigravity A1 (launched late 2025) pioneered the category with its ultra-light 249g design and Insta360 integration. Now, DJI enters with ecosystem advantages, replaceable lenses, and aggressive pricing.
Yes, we will be doing specification comparison, as well as price comparison, altogether
Prices are based on current official Antigravity bundles (USD) and leaked European Avata 360 figures converted at ~1 EUR ≈ 1.15 USD (mid-March 2026 rates). US pricing for Avata 360 may adjust slightly at launch, but is expected to align closely or be even more competitive.
Bottom line on pricing: Even DJI’s top Premium Combo (~$1,333) costs less than Antigravity’s entry-level Standard Bundle ($1,599). Accessories tell the same story – DJI batteries at ~$91 vs. higher Antigravity extras, and prop sets at just $10.
Slight edge to A1 (with upgrade); Avata battery still unconfirmed exact

Who Should Buy Which in the US?
Choose DJI Avata 360 if budget, ecosystem compatibility, or value is your priority. At roughly half the cost for similar bundles, it’s a game-changer for hobbyists, YouTubers, and pros upgrading without breaking the bank.
Choose Antigravity A1 if you need the lightest 360 drone, unique Insta360 editing tools, or don’t mind paying extra for innovation. It’s positioned as luxury, but recent discounts (sometimes 15% off) narrow the gap slightly.
With the DJI Avata 360 launch just days away (March 26, 2026), expect pre-order buzz and potential little bit US pricing tweaks. The price difference makes DJI the clear value leader in the 2026 360° drone race.

The article “DJI Avata 360 vs Insta360 Antigravity A1: Massive Price Difference in 2026 – Which 360° FPV Drone Wins on Value?” was written on 6:48 am, Monday, 16 March 2026,Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
As you know, DJI has itself revealed the drone’s official images and sample videos. At the very same time, the announcement time of the drone is launching on March 26, 2026, at 12 PM GMT (China first, global rollout/shipping early April).
The global availability of the drone in the United States of America will begin on April 9, 2026. Unlike other traditional drone announcements, this time DJI has broken the pattern; DJI itself revealed all the basic core specifications as well as the images and even the sample captures from the product prior to the official announcement. So technically, there is no excitement left. The formal announcement is about to be made on March 26.
With the Avata 360 now confirmed and shipping soon, but the big question is – what’s next in the 2026 DJI roadmap for drones, gimbals, and action cams?
Based on the latest trusted leaks (Igor Bogdanov/@Quadro_News), FCC filings, warehouse stock updates, and thenewcamera.com reports, here’s the complete post-Avata 360 2026 pipeline..
Osmo Pocket 4 Standard: Next from DJI
While multiple sources were hunting the Osmo Pocket 4 camera announcement, specifically, we are talking about the standard edition on March 26, since a few months back, an Amazon Denmark website listing has been leaked by the DJI official store. In that listing, it was very clearly mentioned that the Pocket 4 standard camera was to be announced on March 2026.
Just after that, two or three weeks ago, PhotoRabz, a YouTuber, claimed that the standard Pocket 4 edition is coming on March 26, 2026. But for now, suddenly everything seems to be very much silent related to the standard edition Pocket 4 camera. It seems the standard announcement has been delayed for some of the reasons, and we can expect the option later in April 2026, but that’s the only expectation for now.
But before we wrap up the Pocket 4 standard edition information, let me tell you some very fresh information related to the Pocket standard edition: One of the Tech reviwers and best friend of mine already recieved the unit and also compltedt the review of the device, he is impressed with the optmized battery life other than most of the thing seems identical as of pocket 3.
And most importantly, as we all know, a lot of Major retailers around the globe already have the stock, specifically in the Asian region, the sale is said to start just after the announcement of the camera. We have recently published a video showcasing the Pocket 4 camera attached to a new magnetic flash mount. . The user manual of the Pocket 4 gimbal standard edition has already been leaked, so now we are just waiting for a formal announcement, since everything is there, but DJI is silent on this.
Although we can have a surprise announcement from DJI any time soon, stay tuned and be alert. We will be updating here at thenewcamera.com if we receive any set of new information related to this standard Pocket 4 camera.
A quick recap of the rumoured specification, the Standard Pocket 4 Edition model features: a 1-inch CMOS sensor delivering 4K/120fps in 10-bit D-Log M, AI ActiveTrack 6.0 for effortless subject following, and 200+ minutes of battery life – 20% more than the Pocket 3. The Creator Combo bundles wireless mics, extra batteries, and wide-angle lenses for $649, while the base hits $499. Digital zoom (1x/2x/4x) and gesture controls round out the kit, making it a no-brainer for solo filmmakers.

DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro: The Dual Lens-based Pro Pocket Camera
Just after the standard Pocket 4, we have the Pocket 4 Pro in the announcement pipeline, although it’s expected that DJI will keep a healthy gap in between the two announcements, but the price point and set of features of both will appeal to different consumer bases.
Drawing from FCC filings, prototype sightings, and insider leaks, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is rumored to pack flagship features in a sub-200g body. Here’s a breakdown of the expected specs:
1,545mAh battery (20% larger than Pocket 3); fast charging; slimmer profile
These upgrades address key pain points from the Osmo Pocket 3, such as limited zoom and battery life, making the Pro a must-have for YouTubers, influencers, and filmmakers. Early leaks also hint at enhanced modular integration, including remote grips and external lights for low-light vlogs.
Yes, we are super excited. Let’s hope this month we will see the DJI Avata 360 and the Pocket 4 Standard edition announcement. As we have mentioned earlier, all the products that appeared in the list have already cleared the FCC registration. As soon as we get any update, we will post it here.

Sony A7V has achieved strong sales numbers consecutively in the third month, which is really a big surprise for us. Also, in the February rankings, the Sony A7V ranked as the number one best-selling camera, according to Map Camera. The information was published on March 13, 2026, on the Map Camera official website and social media handles.
One of Japan’s largest camera retailers confirms the α7V’s unbreakable dominance in 2026. Now, let’s have a look at the rankings of February’s best-selling cameras
Sony has increased the production of the A7V camera to meet the market requirement. In January, the demand was so high that a lot of retail stores and online websites were facing stock shortages of the Sony A7V camera. But despite that, the supply remained continuous and fulfilled the market demand, and maybe that’s one of the reasons why the Sony A7V is topping the chart. Check out our guide to the best lenses for Sony α7V in 2026 to maximize its potential.

Why the Sony a7V Is Preferred Over Other Cameras in the Same $2,500–$3,000 Price Range
Well, that’s the biggest question: why are people preferring the Sony A7V camera instead of other cameras at the same price? First, I thought the domination of the A7V series is limited to the Asian market only. But the most important thing that I came to know after doing a little research while looking for the best-selling cameras in the United States of America—specifically on March 14, 2026—is that the Sony A7V is the best-selling full-frame camera in the United States on that specific day.
Other than that, the next camera on the list in the full-frame division is the Canon R6 Mark II, and the third camera in full frame is the Sony A7 IV. So again, the mirrorless lineup of cameras in the full-frame division is dominated by Sony in the United States of America.
Reason why Sony is dominating so much in the rankings—what is the exact reason behind that? Let’s try to find out.
The most important factor that we have to understand is the superior performance of the new 33MP sensor paired with the XR2 processor. This combination delivers blackout-free shooting up to 30 frames per second, and the heat management system of the camera body has also improved, so the camera does not show overheating issues when you are recording videos at 30fps or 60fps. And a completely OPEN lens mount with a lot of lens options.
So these are some of the basic reasons why most photographers prefer this camera in this price range. Other than that, we all know the level of AF accuracy we get in Sony cameras, and specifically the Sony A7V camera is loaded with human, animal, bird, insect, and aircraft auto-focus detection, which automatically tracks the subject based on its design.
Ricoh GR IV Monochrome Debuts at #2
Released on February 13, 2026, the new Ricoh GR IV Monochrome scored second place in the overall ranking list of Map camera ranking. Read our short review about the GR IV Mono Edition – Ricoh GR IV Monochrome: The Leica Slayer That’s Making Black-and-White Photography Accessible Again. As a dedicated monochrome-only compact, its early sales are still supply-limited, but I am really very much surprised to see the demand of the unique camera.
Sony α7C II Climbs to 3rd Place
The Sony α7C II continues its impressive rise:
9th place in December 2025 (α7V launch month)
4th place in January 2026
Now 3rd place in February
The surge is driven by last-minute cashback campaign demand and the significant price advantage over the α7V.
Fujifilm Places Four Models in Top 10 for Third Straight Month
Fujifilm maintains a strong presence with its four models in the entire top ten rankings. This clearly shows people are strongly preferring Fuji, in terms of APS-C camera selection
X100VI – 4th
X-E5 – 5th
X-T30 III – 6th
X-M5 – tied 9th
This is the third consecutive month with four Fujifilm models in the rankings — clear proof of the brand’s loyal following in the APS-C segment, even as competition at the very top intensifies.
Nikon Z5II Stays at 9th
The Nikon Z5II once again tied for 9th. Despite being loaded with a lot of features and available at a budget rate, the Z5 II cameras it continues to struggle to break into the upper ranks at Map Camera.

The best superzoom camera in 2026—if you are not so much interested in having a digital or AI-based zoom and instead love to have a real optical zoom lens—capable of up to 125x pure optical zoom. None of the camera makers like Canon or Sony make superzoom cameras now in 2026, but still in 2026, Nikon is still Making Superzooms. We are talking about the Nikon COOLPIX P1100 camera. This camera is the successor to the ultra-popular Nikon COOLPIX P1000, which offers approximately 125x zoom capability and the ability to record 4K Ultra HD videos. If you are interested in having a camera with extreme zoom reach, then for sure the P1100 is one of the best choices.
Nikon P1100 Key Specification
16MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor for solid image quality
4K Ultra HD video recording
Dual Detect Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) for steady handheld shots at extreme zoom
RAW format support for post-processing flexibility
Rotating 3.2-inch LCD screen and electronic viewfinder
Wi-Fi connectivity for easy sharing
Improved USB-C charging and modest updates to subject detection
The Nikon COOLPIX P1100 camera is one of its kind, and there is no real competitor for this level of bridge camera, which offers 100x+ optical zoom, and all of it is real—no AI algorithm involved in recreating or generating images inside the camera.
So if you are interested in bird photography, or someone who loves to have a real compact camera with massive optical zoom without any AI algorithm creating fake images, then you should consider the Nikon P1100.
The next camera on the list is the Nikon COOLPIX P950. This 83x optical zoom camera is one of the best options available on a budget and costs less than the Nikon COOLPIX P1100. Yes, you get a bit less zoom, but even then, it is highly usable, and the image quality is great.
The Nikon P950 camera delivers impressive results straight out of the box and is very forgiving for users who are new to superzoom photography.
The P950’s autofocus, subject recognition, and image stabilization perform very well within the limitations of a small-sensor superzoom. With adequate light, the camera is capable of resolving surprising detail at extreme focal lengths. As with any camera operating in the 1000mm+ range, technique matters—good light, proper settings, and camera stability make a significant difference.
Nikon COOLPIX P950 is still a top contender. With an 83x optical zoom (24-2000mm equivalent, extendable to 4000mm with Dynamic Fine Zoom), it offers incredible versatility at a more approachable size and price point. Key highlights include:
16MP sensor with 4K video
Excellent 5.5-stop VR for sharp handheld telephoto shots
RAW shooting, vari-angle LCD, and hot shoe for accessories
Moon and bird-watching modes tailored for super-telephoto use
Lighter weight (around 1005g) than the P1100, making it easier for travel or extended handheld sessions
It’s frequently called a balanced superzoom for outdoor photographers, delivering sharp results from macro close-ups to extreme telephoto without the extra bulk of the 125x models.
