 According to latest rumors coming from a Vietnamese website mayanhjp, the Fujifilm X20 will arrive with a newly developed 14 Megapixel 2/3 ” EXR sensor without low-pass filter, a new Fujifilm 24-120mm High grade optical zoom lens with bright aperture range of F1.8-2.8, see more details below

Toshiba announces new TCM5115CL 20 Megapixel Sensor (1.2um BSI pixels), the sensor comes with a 20 Megapixel resolution and 1/2.3-inch size, according to Toshiba the sensor shows 15% improvement when compared to Toshiba’s previous generation 16MP sensor with pixel size of 1.34um. The sensor have the capacity to delivers the high frame rates of 30fps at full 20MP resolution (10b RAW output), 60fps at 1080p and 100fps at 720p.
The mass production of the new 20Mp sensor will start from August 2013.

High ISO JPEG comparison published at fotospekter (slovenian website), In Nikon D600 we can see the noise started from ISO 6400 and rapidly increases as we move forward, the Noise level of Canon 6D is well maintained at ISO 12800.

 Sony A99 score just published at DxOMark Lab, the overall score of A99 is 89, Compared to Nikon D600 (uses same sensor as A99) the low light score is just half due to the SLT technology used in the camera.

 Today Polaroid confirmed to Imaging Resource that its Mirrorless interchangeable lens camera running on Android OS coming at CES 2013,
“There will be an Android powered, interchangeable lens camera introduced by Polaroid at CES 2013,” Scott Hardy, president and CEO of Polaroid told Imaging Resource in an emailed statement. “Additional information and specs will be released during the show.”
Rumors about Polaroid IM1836 Android Based Mirrorless started yesterday, according to the rumored specification the camera will have 18.1-megapixel sensor, Android 4.0 OS and 3.5-inch touchscreen.
 If we take a look at last year CES, Polaroid introduced its SC1630 16 Mp compact camera based on Android OS but it is still not gone on sale.
