With Canon several (see here and here) patents one nikon patent also surfaced, Nikon field another two lens patents (2013-019992, 2013-011831) in Japan for the new 58mm f/1.2 lens.

Kipon Ibelux 40mm F0.85 lens for mirrorless cameras

Kipon in partnership with the German firm IB / E OPTICS have developed the new 40mm f/0.85 lens, in the image above the Ibelux lens is attached with Sony NEX camera, lens is expected to be released in July, 2013 with a price between ¥120,000 – ¥ 150,000 ($1,200-$1,600). According to latest rumors Canon is expected to announce two new lenses on January 8, 2013. The first lens is 35 f/1.4L II and the second lens is EF 14-24 f/2.8L, both lenses will be available by the end of March 2013.
