According to latest reports coming from MR.com, Sony A5100 successor is not coming soon and the biggest reason behind the delay of the camera is 2016 Komamoto earth quake. Sony sensor manufacturing units are highly affected by the earthquake resulting delay in shipments of the sensors
The Sony A5100 camera was announced back on August 2014, and over-due for an update. Earlier it was expected that the Sony A5300 (Name not confirmed yet) will arrive on June 2016 but for now we don’t have a time-frame .
Not only Sony A5300 announcements is delayed for now, other list of camera that may be also delayed due Komamoto earth quake are Fuji XT2 and E-PL8.
As we already know that the upcoming Fuji X-T2 will carry same sensor as of X-Pro 2 , see more rumors related to X-T2 here. Olympus E-PL8 images was leaked few weeks ago, however still there is no concrete info available about the announcement of the product.

 It’s look like today the long rumored Leica M-D Typ 262 camera announced today, RED DOT camera store of UK listed the Leica M-D Type 262 camera in their website.
The camera features 24 Megapixel CMOS sensor as we have said earlier and Powered by Maestro processor, the ISO range of Leica M-D goes upto ISO 6400. The Leica M-D is a retro style lacks back screen display or Viewfinder.
The camera manufactured in Germany and available in black paint finish.

 Leica M-D Typ 262 camera coming soon and will have same size and shape as of M Typ 240/262 Camera of Leica, The camera isn’t coming with display screen. The camera will allow you to control the settings by manual buttons only. The top and Canon bottom plates of the camera is made up of brass metal.
The camera is expected to arrive in May, 2016 with a esitamted reatsil price of 5,940 Euros (around $6,700), the cost of the camera is very high as usual.
The upcoming camera features same sensor as of M363 model. The cost of M262 model at B&H store is $5,195.00

Leica M-D Typ 262 name surfaced over Korean certification body RRA website today. In generally new product get certified by South Korean certification body RRA prior to the announcement.

Leica is rumored to announce a new M camera identical to popular M60 camera in near future. surprisingly the camera will not have red dot in the front and no rear LCD display screen. And the other good news is Leica is working on tilt-shift lenses for the SL series mirrorless camera.

Leica finally announced t s long rumored underwater camera Leica X-U (Typ 113), the camera features APS-C size sensor and a fixed 23mm f/1.7 ASPH lens. The camera can goes down 49 feet inside water and features a rugged and durable body.. So we are finally seeing a Leica camera that is shock-resistant, freeze-resistant, and dust-sealed.
 The camera can also shoot Full HD videos at 30fps in MP4 format, On the rear side of the screen we have a large 3″ display unit protected by a tough glass protector and controls are designed in such a wau that you can easily operate the camera underwater.
The camera will cost you approx $3K. Yep its tooooo high.
